Hi, my name is Layne. I’ve always loved animals and caring for them. I cared for a beautiful dog of my own for 14 years, and I have cared for other dogs on numerous occasions over the years. I have been doing this job professionally since January 2020. The current services I offer are house sitting and drop-in visits for dogs and cats, as well as walks for dogs. I have grown up around animals, and I have no problem attending to their needs, cleaning up after them, administering medicine, etc. Please let me know your pet’s needs and how you would like for me to care for them. Please provide at least a few days notice in advance for any services, and please note that I prefer meeting in person prior to any services.

Layne is a fantastic pet and house sitter! She sends daily updates and photos and was always very responsive. My dog took to her so quickly and I think enjoyed his time with her- we called it his vacation away from a house full of our young kids. Layne went above and beyond by last minute coming to feed and walk Cruiser within an hour of me telling her my flight was delayed and was worried about him. I will absolutely use her again for any future pet needs.

We’ve had an amazing experience with Layne for house and dog sitting on several occasions, most recently over a 5-night stay. Communication was excellent from start to finish, with frequent updates that gave us peace of mind while we were away. Layne went above and beyond caring for our two German Shepherds, ensuring they were happy, well-exercised, and loved. On top of that, the house was kept spotless, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommend and will absolutely book again!

Schedule
This is my main job, so it has a lot of my attention. I work on weekdays and weekends. Also holidays! Please let me know in advance.

- Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or requires special attention. I have cared for senior pets, medication-dependent pets, and pets that require help with feeding. I also have experience with blind pets, deaf pets, and seizure-prone pets.
