“Our experience woth Pamela was amazing! We were beyond nervous leaving our Barkley but she made the process easy. We did a pre meet up and when I went to drop him off on he actual weekend, he ran right up to the door excited. I got frequent updates on how he was doing and pick was flexible after a flight delay! Our dog is not food motivated and she would add a couple drops of broth to his bowl to make sure he got some food. I appreciate the extra attention to his care! About: I LOVE animals, I have a dog and birds who I have been taking care of since I was a kid. I have experience pet sitting for family and friends, so I am very comfortable taking care of animals. I have always been the type of person who hangs out with the dog instead of people at parties, so spending time with animals makes me genuinely happy! I am looking for a way to make some extra money during the summer while I’m in nursing school, so I am available pretty much every day/ all day the next couple months :) When caring for pets in someone else’s home, I like to make sure they are comfortable, and that they are kept on a similar routine as they normally are. About: I’ve had a Yorkie named Cooper since I was young and he currently lives with my parents back in Cleveland. I love dogs so much and I believe you should take care of dogs like you do your kids! Because of the setup here, pups do need to be comfortable being in a kennel/crate at times. If your dog isn’t fully kennel trained yet (like a young puppy), that’s totally okay — I just ask that they can go into a kennel without any aggressive behavior so everyone stays safe. While your dog is staying with me, they’ll enjoy: ✨ A little bit of training and structure woven into their routine ✨ Learning manners and practicing calm behavior ✨ Daily enrichment and exercise ✨ Plenty of love, playtime, and cuddles ✨ Daily updates so you know how they’re doing My goal is to make boarding feel less stressful and more like a safe, structured staycation where your dog is cared for like family. I work from home training dogs and doing phone consultations, so I’m home the majority of the day with the pups. The only times I’m briefly away are for church on Sunday mornings (about 9:30–10:30) and the gym on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings for about an hour. During those short times, all dogs are safely kenneled with fresh water, A/C, and cameras for monitoring, so they’re always safe and comfortable. Your dog’s safety and comfort come first. I have a secure fenced yard and kennel space in my house. Dogs staying with me do need to be comfortable being kenneled at times, or at least able to go into a kennel without aggression (puppies still learning are absolutely fine!). While boarding here, dogs enjoy structure, manners practice, daily enrichment, exercise, and lots of love — plus daily updates so you feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. My family had a two high energy dogs growing up and even from a young age I would enjoy caring for the two of them. After they passed, I volunteered at my local humane society, working mainly with dogs. When I was about 17, I convinced my family to adopt a puppy. I taught him basic commands, potty training, and basic leash skills. I currently own a cat who is equal parts sweetheart and menace. Being tasked with raising a kitten turned out to have a massive learning curve, but he is absolutely spoiled with playtime, toys, and treats. He is currently being leash trained and we’re working on anxiety associated with his crate. I have a PRN position at a children’s hospital, so I have plenty of time to check in on your baby/babies. I work a short Monday shift from 12-4PM. I have a hybrid pharmacy schedule, so I am able to attend classes from wherever I am. I care for all pets with love and respect. The main goal is to establish trust with new pets by allowing them to approach me with interest on their own terms, even if it takes a while. Providing pets with playtime and attention is a priority after their daily basic needs are met. I believe in gentle correction or making an activity more interesting with treats or a favorite toy when a pet is acting up or disinterested.

As an important DISCLAIMER: While I do have years of vet assistant experience and formal vet assistant education, I am not a Veterinarian and not a CVT (i.e., I am not licensed to practice veterinary medicine); I can only care for your pet in the capacity as a pet sitter / dog walker and cannot provide medical care or diagnose or prognose, etc. I will always refer you to your local Vet for that type of care and will not do anything outside of my scope of expertise for the safety of your pet (and to abide by the law). About our pets at home: My husband and I have two wonderful cats (1 adopted, 1 we rescued) and two wonderful dogs (adopted by us from the humane society after they were rescued from dire situations, respectively; one of which is a tripod and one is a disabled senior that wears diapers) -- I gravitate especially towards rescues and seniors that need a little extra care, and I especially love cats. I’m a transparent and thorough communicator, and I’ll let you know of any prior commitments that I may have during a house stay request. I also do real-time check-ins/updates, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing, what we’re up to, and when I am present and when I leave your home. My day-to-day work/school is remote and flexible, so I can choose my own hours and follow your pet’s daily routine (waking/sleeping/feeding, etc.), and give them lots of both active, attentive quality time (undivided attention playing with them, walking them, petting them, brushing them, caring for them, etc.) and hangout time (for example, sitting on the couch together). Whenever possible, I can take short-notice and same-day requests. I have evening classes most weekdays for ~2-4 hours, depending on the day, and occasional performances on weekends, but typically no other scheduling commitments from May to September annually. From September through May (9 months, Fall to Summer), I am unavailable Saturdays and some Fridays (mostly First Fridays) due to our performance schedule. For a healthy pet that can be safely left alone, I still always spend as much time with them as possible and only leave the house for meals (and/or can bring food) and/or class, an occasional errand, depending on how long the stay is. I arrive well-prepared to minimize the need to exit the home. I will discuss my availability and your pet's needs in detail before accepting a booking to be sure it is mutually a good fit. For any booking, your pet’s care and safety is my primary responsibility and I take my duty of supervision and care with the utmost seriousness (don’t worry, I’m also fun!). I also care deeply for their emotional well being, so while I have to be realistic about my own schedule and needs (my classes, the need to eat, etc.), I don’t leave them unattended or lonely for any longer than I have to. In your home or on a dog-walk, I will give your pet(s) my full attention to their safety, well-being, and happiness. I am consistent and committed to staying up to date on the latest behavioral and scientific/medical knowledge. I am thorough and I carefully follow directions and will ask for clarification if needed to ensure I am prepared for your pet's specific care. I am experienced and knowledgeable, and you can trust me in your home and with your precious pets. If they have a special need that I am not qualified for handling or have experience with, I will be honest and not overstate my skills (I want your pet to be in great hands with the best fit possible as much as you do). I am gentle, calm, and kind, and can also be silly/fun/playful/energetic, or very quiet; I try to adapt to your pet’s personality, comfort, and needs. I've worked with a range of pets, from quiet seniors and calm cats to rambunctious puppies, giant-breeds, and anxious pets. And while I love them all, I most especially gravitate towards cats, seniors, and differently-abled pets. I unfortunately cannot care for your pets in my own home (such as daycare or pet sitting in my home) because I have four of my own at home with special needs and routines. (Note that when I’m away on a house stay, they are in great hands with my husband, so while I miss them dearly when gone, my own pets are very loved and looked after.) ***I’m not accepting puppies at this time due to my varied availability/classes, or most Large/Giant breeds only because I’m healing a neck/shoulder injury; I'm not assuming about your pet that they pull on a lead, but I want to ensure I could safely carry/transport them in the event of an emergency.***
About: I’ve had a Yorkie named Cooper since I was young and he currently lives with my parents back in Cleveland. I love dogs so much and I believe you should take care of dogs like you do your kids! I work fully remote, so I will be at home and play with the dogs all day! I will show them love and be able to feed them and take them to the bathroom whenever they need it! I also have a dog park at my apartment and a park in walking distance! I will play or walk the dogs whenever they need it, I love to exercise and move around! They will never not be shown love!
About: I will play with your dog, making sure the get necessary excersize. I will make sure that your dog stays hydrated and fed. If you tell me about any concerns you have with your dog I will keep my eye open for them. If I notice anything that is of concern I will let you know immediately. I will take your dog out on walks, and runs. I will brush their fur, if their nails need trimming I can do that. I love dogs, I grew up with dogs my entire life. We always made sure they were well fed, and taken care of. I love any type of dog, any shape or size. Dogs are adorable and cuddly, I will be more than happy to keep your dog company. I just moved to the area, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pups or cats! I can take your dogs on walks, and your cats if thats something they like! I will play with them and make sure they are happy and safe I make sure in this heat they aren't outside alone or for too long, as well as making sure they have plenty of water for them to drink
About: I grew up with dogs and cats of every kind. I’ve raised puppies and kittens and older animals. I’ve potty trained and I love teaching new tricks! I am a full time student in college at ASU but my schedule is very open. I only have two classes at most on select days which give me a lot of free time to take care of your fur baby. I will mainly be providing service outside of my home but I like to be active and fun so I will be able to provide my full attention.

I’ve taken a break from the corporate world and I am a stay at home dad. I enjoy walking and running with dogs. The many parks allow for easy access to exercise for your pet. Rachael seems to know dogs well but is incredibly humble which I believe is SUPER important when it comes to keeping dogs safe and not making assumptions. When our dog was returned to us she was tired and even more friendly and settled in than when we dropped her off. I can tell she was spoiled! Upon eye contact she is now gushing and loving up on people. (Sorry, have to add: she was a day away from euthanasia when I picked her up at the shelter and to see her leave Rachael's home a happy, perfect little princess made me cry) So thankful for Rachael's care!”

About: In the past, I had a dog who lived until 17 years old because I took great care of her. I also help my friends with their dogs when they are out of town.
