Since I work from home with a flexible schedule, your pup will get plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. I’m available for regular potty breaks, playtime, meals, and walks whenever your dog needs them. I’m here to make sure they feel cared for, comfortable, and companionship. However, because I work from home, I cannot accept dogs that bark or howl indoors for long periods of time.

I treat every dog like family, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours. My partner and I live in a cozy 2-bedroom apartment with plenty of room to play, plus a fenced dog park just steps away for potty breaks and outdoor fun. We also love taking dogs on walks at Papago Park. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I’m always respectful of your space and will follow your instructions. Whether it’s sticking to a routine, keeping off certain furniture, or special care needs, I’m here to make sure your pup feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of.

Information Madison J. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know in advance if your dog has any special needs, routines, or care instructions. I’m happy to accommodate and want to ensure your pup gets the best care possible! Things to note: -New boarding clients require a trial period, whether it’s an overnight stay or doggy day care stay for a few hours out of the day, free of charge. This is for me to see if boarding would be a good fit for us both. -Due to living in an apartment and working from home, I cannot accept dogs that bark or howl indoors for long periods of time. If this happens during boarding, I reserve the right to discontinue services. -There is an additional $5 daily fee per dog for pups who are not fully potty trained (i.e., not yet trained to go potty outside). This helps cover the extra time and care involved in keeping your dog comfortable and my space clean.

A typical day

A typical day with us starts with a long morning walk and we love bringing the dogs we’re caring for along with us to enjoy the fresh air and exercise! Since both my partner and I work from home, your pup will get plenty of attention throughout the day, with a mix of playtime, cuddle breaks, and regular potty breaks. For high-energy pups who enjoy socializing, we’re happy to take them to the dog park. I also send daily photo/video updates so you can stay connected and see how much fun your dog is having!

Pet care experience

**Currently visiting my hometown in Des Moines for the summer! Contact me for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting!** Hi, I’m Maddie! I work from home, so your pup will get plenty of love, attention, and care throughout the day. My apartment is dog-friendly with a fenced dog park just steps from my door, perfect for playtime and potty breaks. I also have no pets or children, so your dog will have a calm, cozy space all to themselves. My partner, Austin, also works from home and helps me care for the dogs. We’re a team, and your pup will get double the love! Dogs have always been family to me. I’ve grown up with them and have cared for all kinds from playful pups to senior dogs needing daily medication. Whether it’s long walks, fun playtime, or cuddles after a busy day, we treat every dog like our own and do everything we can to make them feel happy, safe, and right at home.

We had such a great experience with Madison watching our dogs! She stayed at our home and was incredibly kind and respectful of our space and home. She kept us updated with messages and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our girls looked so happy and well cared for, and we loved that she took them on walks and gave them plenty of love and attention. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she watches. Overall, she did an amazing job and made the whole experience stress-free for us. We would absolutely book with her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Madison and Austin took great care of our dog Blake when we needed to both be at work for the day. Blake can be anxious around new people, and they were attentive to that and made sure we brought some of Blake's things (pad/blanket, toys, treats) so that they could make him comfortable. Blake had a great day with them and settled in and Madison provided updates throughout the day to let us know how it was going. And of course the next time Blake saw Madison and Austin he was jumping up and shaking his body all over to greet his new friends. We appreciated how patient they were with Blake (and us) and highly recommend them to take care of your dog.

Madison took great care of my fussy pup while I was out of town. I received frequent updates and photos. My dog got plenty of exercise and attention and was fed right on schedule, per my instructions. I know just who to call next time I'm leaving town. Thanks Madison!

Madison was great! She was incredibly flexible and very attentive to our dog. She was genuine and we could tell that she really cared about Chloe. She spoiled her and made her feel right at home. We really appreciated the updates and photos that Madison would send during her stay. We will definitely be using her again for the next time we need to board Chloe! Thank you for everything Madison!
