“Aleksandra took great care of my cat Nutterbutter and she sent lots of pictures and videos while we were away! Highly recommend and we will most definitely be requesting Aleksandra!”

“Taylor was amazing! Literally played with Zara all week and gave her all the attention and cuddles. Taylor followed Zara’s schedule and routine perfectly and asked questions when she had them!”
“Quianna did so well with our two dogs during a 5 day house sitting stay. We have a senior dog that requires daily medication & a younger dog with high energy and some naughty tendencies. She handled them both well, was communicative, and we could barely tell that she had stayed in the home. Overall she’s a great sitter & we would be glad to book with her again”

About: Hello! So nice to meet you. My first name is Taylor, but please call me Marie (my middle and preferred name) :-) I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your pets. I have two wonderful cats (1 adopted, 1 rescue) and two wonderful dogs (adopted); one of which is a tripod and one wears diapers -- I gravitate especially towards rescues and seniors that need a little extra care. Every pet is so special and deserves a safe and happy home! I am competent, thorough, communicative, responsible, punctual, respectful, honest, and have integrity. You can be assured that your pet(s) will be safe with me. I give periodic updates with photos, I follow instructions carefully, I take attentive notes about your pet from your description and my own observations, and I respond promptly to messages. I am very tidy and will leave your home as clean as when I arrived. I always suggest a “Meet and Greet” because it’s important to me that you AND your pet are comfortable with me (and I you). I try to keep a pet’s routine as familiar as possible for their comfort and your peace of mind. A bit about my background: I graduated with a 4.0 from Pima Medical Institute, Phoenix, in December 2020 from the Veterinary Assistant Program. I graduated magna cum laude from ASU in 2015 with a BA in Creative Writing and a second BA in French linguistics/translation/literature. I also completed one semester of the Pre-Veterinary Medicine program at ASU. I am Fear Free Level 3 Certified (........). I've worked for Banfield Pet Hospital, Oak Creek Small Animal Clinic, and various other Small Animal vets on and off since 2018. I have been working with animals in some capacity since ~2010, and I’ve had my own pets since I was ~4 or 5 years old. I worked previously on Rover.com from July 2017 to May 2021, and took a hiatus because I moved, but unfortunately I no longer have that same Rover profile (Was "Taylor E.", first name and maiden name initial). I had, during that time, a 5-star rating from at least 35 people who were pleased with my pet care and communication and left positive reviews (thank you so much!!!). Please see screenshots from my previous Rover account reviews. Please note that I am not currently working in the field of veterinary medicine at the time of writing this in May 2026. I have the experience to be able to care for *certain* special needs, and I will communicate with you honestly (at all times) if I feel a request is beyond my scope of experience because my priority is your pet's safety and wellbeing and I feel they should be matched with the best possible carer. I have worked with a variety of pets with different ages, abilities/needs, and breeds, and especially cats and dogs, as both a veterinary assistant and pet sitter. As an important DISCLAIMER: While I do have years of vet assistant experience and formal vet assistant education, I am not a Veterinarian and not a CVT (i.e., I am not licensed to practice veterinary medicine); I can only care for your pet in the capacity as a pet sitter / dog walker and cannot provide medical care or diagnose or prognose, etc. I will always refer you to your local Vet for that type of care and will not do anything outside of my scope of expertise for the safety of your pet. Thank you so much for your consideration. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! -- Marie. *** Location: In Flagstaff May 17 through June 2. In Sedona June 3 through June 7, and June 11 through June 20. *** I currently travel between a few areas; my typical schedule is Mondays in Flagstaff, Tuesdays in Sedona or Tempe, Wed/Thurs in Tempe, Fridays in Tempe or Sedona, and Sat/Sun Sedona. As a professional artist/aerialist/musician, my schedule can typically be flexible, especially given notice. Whenever possible, I can take short-notice requests. I have evening classes most weekdays, and occasional performances, but typically no other scheduling commitments. When receiving a booking request, I will communicate in detail about my availability to ensure it meets your expectations / your pet's needs. *** Location: In Flagstaff May 17 through June 2. In your home or on a dog-walk, I will give your pet(s) my full attention to their safety, well-being, and happiness. I am consistent and committed to following directions, I am experienced and knowledgeable, and you can trust me in your home and with your precious pets. I am gentle, calm, and kind, and can also be silly/fun/playful and/or be confident/firm depending on your pet's personality, needs, and training. I've worked with a range of pets, from quiet seniors to rambunctious puppies to large-breed dogs who need a confident walker. And I especially love cats!! I unfortunately cannot care for your pets in my own home (such as daycare or pet sitting in my home) at this time because I have four of my own at home with special needs and routines.

“Maddie was awesome! She took great care of both of my dogs and kept me updated the entire time. She made me so comfortable while I was away and I knew my dogs were having such a great time! I would definitely book with Maddie again and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy dog sitter. She goes above and beyond! ?”

“Ash was a lifesaver taking a last minute job, and took such good care of our two cats while we were gone. They are pretty slow to warm up but both cats were snuggling up with Ash by the end of the week. We had such a great experience and will definitely be using Ash again in the future!”

“Audrey was very kind, responsive, and great for our little last minute fiasco. The pups really seemed to enjoy their time with her and we were able to enjoy the day not worrying about the care our pups were provided!”

“Hanna did a great job communicating her schedule and checking in with photos of my pup so I knew she was happy and at ease the whole time. Hanna was also very respectful of my home, leaving it clean and neat while staying over.”

“Nicole was so great with our Lucy! She really loved her like her own. Lucy loved the long walks and extra snuggles with Nicole around. Will book again!!! Thanks a bunch for the help while I was away!!”

“Marianne was so nice and accommodating. She took great care of our dog. She kept us updated daily with pictures. During our meet and greet, our dog took a liking to her immediately and I knew we found the right dog sitter for our pet. Will definitely call on her again.”

“Amelia was amazing! This was my first time leaving my reactive dog with someone other than family or really close friends so I was pretty nervous. But Amelia must be working some kind of magic because both my reactive dog and shy cat warmed up to her instantly! I will definitely book with her again💖”

“I’m so happy to find Svetlana! I’m returned from my trip to a peaceful home and happy pups. She sent me photos and updates often, which really put my mind at ease. She walked my ridgeback everyday and I know that made him so happy. I will be booking Svetlana in the future and highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone trustworthy and reliable to take care of your fur babies.”

“Finding Alice was SUCH a blessing! We could not be more grateful. I had a family trip planned and thought I would have to cancel because my dogs health had recently declined and it felt wrong to board her. We somehow found Alice a few days before leaving and everything worked out amazingly! She provided so many updates, videos and pictures, I never had to worry or wonder what was going on. It is clear she has a special relationship with animals. We will definitely plan to work with her again in the future, for pet sitting and house sitting. 🙏♥️”

“Kimberly is absolutely amazing! She takes such good care of my pups and they love her. She is very attentive with them and makes sure they are well taken care of. She also makes sure that I come home to a clean house, which I appreciate so much. I know that when she is there, both the house and dogs are in good hands!”
University Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jamie was awesome! Our pup is a rescue and a very sensitive girl, so we were concerned she would be a little down while we were on our trip. But she absolutely loved Jamie. We received multiple photos daily, which made us so much more at ease knowing she is happy and loving her new friend!

Claudia was an absolute 10/10 sitter and we give her five stars without hesitation. She followed all of our care instructions for our two dogs perfectly and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. She walked them every morning and evening just like we requested, sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day, and clearly gave them a lot of love and attention. Both of our boys absolutely adored her. Even our older French bulldog, who usually takes time to warm up to new people, trusted her immediately and became her little shadow. That alone spoke volumes to us. It truly felt like our dogs were in safe, trusted, and loving hands the entire time we were traveling. Claudia cared for them with the same level of love and support that we give them every day. We are so grateful for the peace of mind she provided and would absolutely rebook her again. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing sitter!

Isaiah is a delight to work with! He was extremely attentive to Mackie, followed guidelines to a "T", sent lots of photos and kept me updated on their activities and games. His love for animals shines through. He was also flexible regarding an unexpected change in the original time frame.

Aleksandra was amazing—especially for our first time using Rover. She’s super friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly great with dogs. She handled both of ours so well, especially our puppy, and even taught him a new trick in just a few days which was so impressive. We felt totally at ease the whole time—definitely booking with her again!

We have used Alan many times over the past couple of years for in-home dog sitting and he is a great sitter! He is very good with communication before and during his stay and is so good with our dog who suffers a bit from separation anxiety. I would highly recommend him!

Veronika was so helpful! I know that my dogs can be a handful and she took on the challenge full force. She cared and loved them while I was away visiting family. The peace of mind she was able to give me that my dogs had been well taken care of was so nice. I’m excited to book her again in the future!

Trinity was fantastic! She was a great communicator, sending many photos and updates about our girls. Our very shy dog warmed up to her immediately, which is a huge plus. She was available super last minute and even came by for a meet and greet same day. I’d highly recommend hiring trinity for any pet sitting and we’re looking forward to hiring her again the next time we need someone to take care of our dogs!
