I ensure all doors and windows are locked whenever I leave the house. • Prevent Escapes: I double-check that collars and harnesses are secure before walks. I never let dogs off-leash in unfenced areas and always verify yard gates are locked. • Follow Routines Directly: I keep feeding, medication, and crating schedules identical to what the owner provides to minimize pet stress. • Prepare for Emergencies: I ask for the contact details of the pet's primary vet and the nearest 24/7 emergency clinic before the owner leaves. • Stay in Touch: I send regular photo and text updates through Rover so owners have total peace of mind while they are away.
