Hello everyone! My husband Dan and I moved from NJ to Phoenix a couple of years ago, and we share our home with our sweet, chill rescue dog, Chippy, who gets along wonderfully with other pups. I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. My pet care journey has taken me all over: I had the most incredible experience of walking and caring for dogs while living in The Netherlands, followed by three (also wonderful) years pet-sitting in New Jersey and New York City. I continue to sit here in Phoenix because spending my time with animals is deeply fulfilling, healing, and fun to me. They have so much unconditional love to offer, and providing them with a safe, warm environment brings me genuine joy. During summer, I work from home as a cross-stitch designer running my own online store. While my non-summer months can get a bit busy with work, my schedule is always highly flexible. Dan is currently completing his master's degree in counseling and working through his practicums, so it's usually just me and Chippy hanging out at home. We both love it when we have guest pups staying with us! We live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with a great dog park. I am completely open to hearing exactly what your pet needs for their welfare and happiness. I am comfortable: - Providing lots of playtime and long walks. - Administering medications (syrup or pills). - Offering cozy, constant companionship while I work on my designs. - Teaching your friend a few new tricks! Our dogs are our children now that we have an empty nest. They are spoiled and it's hard for us to leave them behind when we travel. We were so glad to have found Maria. She is extremely kind and caring. She watched our babies at our house and was very patient with our list of weird things our dogs did/needed. We got regular pupdates and we were extremely happy with her care. It's hard to have a stranger in your house and caring for your loved ones but we felt confident with Maria that both the house and the pups were in good hands. We will be using her services regularly.

Maria is amazing with both my cat and dog! She took great care of my cat during the holidays and sent updates from each visit. Both my pets also love her and you can tell she genuinely loves animals.

Schedule
I have an open and flexible schedule. Most of the times I can accommodate to your needs. I have availability for drop-in visits, doggy day care and house sitting.

I have a lot of experience walking dogs and taking care of them in general. Whatever your dog’s (or pet’s) needs are, I can always adapt to them. My husband and I love dogs so much; we live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with a big dog park with grass and shade. We have a 6 year old doggy named Chippy, he's very sweet, friendly, and easy going.

A typical day
Through my years of experience with dogs, I’ve learned that playing, sniffing and running is a must for them. That’s why going to a park and let them run, socialize and play with other dogs is a good idea. Getting to know each dog’s personality is important too in order to know the activities they enjoy the most. At the end of the day what matters is your furry friend is happy (and hopefully tired enough to relax).
