About: I have extensive experience taking care of cats, dogs, and chickens, but am open and excited to take care of all pets. I am new to Rover, but have completed over 40 sits through TrustedHousesitters watching many dogs, cats, and kittens, ranging from weekend sits to entire months and have been pet sitting full time for 1 and a half years. I have watched dogs and cats of all ages and have experience administering medication (including insulin, pills, liquid). I also have experience with a variety of farm animals as I watched an entire farm by myself including goats, sheep, turkeys, rabbits, cats and dogs. In addition to my recent experience through TrustedHousesitters, I have had many house/pet sitting gigs throughout the years. I periodically watched my housemates cat in college. I grew up dog sitting my family friend's dog and cat sitting for a couple of different families. I also nannied for 4 years, and have experience looking after houses, cleaning, and keeping my clients homes in great condition. I am originally from California, but my home base is Portland, OR. My favorite activities include running, hiking, and anything outdoorsy. I am a marathon runner and I have completed 6 marathons so far and have run numerous half marathons. I also really like exploring, traveling and trying new food and coffee places. I love to house/pet sit because it gives me the opportunity to be around cute pets and make some extra income as I recently moved back to Portland after taking a gap year. I have 3.5 years of experience working remotely in the medical communications field and I am a UC Davis alumni. While caring for your pet and home, I will be available on my cell and will text picture updates, so you can feel at ease while you are away and will be sure to give your pet plenty of cuddles and love.

As a senior dog, Eibhlinn made sure to give her all the extra attention she needed and worked around our groomer’s schedule as well. She fed him promptly and kept his water dish full and litter box clean. After Rufus had to have an emergency surgery, she aided me in watching after him while I was at work. I had been worried about him moving around too much and ripping his stitches out when I wasn't there to stop him. But my fears were calmed with her watching after him diligently and updating me when necessary or asking clarifying questions. Overall, Catherine is someone I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hardworking and thorough pet caregiver.”

Caitlin was fantastic with my little dog, Badger. I had never done an overnight boarding with a sitter before and Caitlin was super helpful in making sure Badger felt comfortable in her living space and with the other dogs. Ciera did an absolutely amazing job with my pup. She is detail-oriented,a good listener, punctual, researches before asking questions, and pays as much attention to the health and safety of her daily adoptee, as she does providing TLC. I have worked with her four times, and each stay gets better as she learns his habits, and my dog gets increasingly comfortable. I will absolutely be working with Ciera again in the future.
Brittany was a fantastic caretaker! Was very attentive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. There were some adjustments to my schedule and Brittany was able to make sure to be available regardless. Huey had a great time at their place of work! He spent the whole day playing and napping, and came home an happy, exhausted puppy. Couldn’t recommend Brittany anymore! Will definitely be booking again in the future!

Maura is amazing!! My sensitive boy has never taken to anyone or a new space as quickly as he did with Maira and her perfect setup. The fenced in backyard let him sunbathe and the AC inside let him cool down. Fresh water bowls and dog beds galore. Anything a dog could want, Maura had it. He loved his new friends and was even able to chill out and snuggle with little anxiety. Maura is a dream. I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving my boy with someone. He had so much fun. Thank you, Maura!!
Jennifer is amazing! She is so sweet and so good with our little elderly pooch, Crystal, and it gives us so much comfort knowing that she has worked as a vet tech! Our elderly girl needs extra expertise sometimes and it’s wonderful to know Jennifer can handle Crystal’s special needs. Plus, she takes amazing photos and gives a really fantastic detailed report afterwards of her time with Crystal. We are definitely going to be using her again!
Venus is the best pup sitter I’ve had. Shes attentive and so very caring. All 3 of my dogs came home each day happy and tired. She responded to my texts throughout the day quickly with fun pictures of my dogs being dogs!! I will be adding Venus to our play schedule for more fun times 🐾🐾
