About: Growing up as an only child, Sandra’s pets became her pseudo-siblings. As such, she developed an innate ability to communicate and understand animals at a very young age. She expanded on this knowledge as an adult, volunteering at a non-profit therapeutic horseback riding ranch for over 7 years and becoming a full time dog walker in 2017. After completing over 1500 walks she made the leap to dog trainer, wanting to hone her experience in obedience education and behavior modification. Sandra has an A.S. in Business from Mesa College, is currently working towards a BS in Psychology from SDSU, and is a certified dog trainer (CPDT-KA). Sandra is currently taking new clients for obedience training, pack walks, and dog beach outings as well as sitting and boarding. I am a full time dog trainer and pet care giver. Mornings are for pack outings, afternoons are for training and playing in my home. The dogs are rarely left alone but, when they are, I have security cameras on them at all times. My days "off" are Sunday and Monday and I only do outings for boarding dogs those days and offer more food enrichment than outside time so that we all have some down time and I have some time to clean and prep for the new week ahead! I only offer boarding (no in- home sittings). There are some basic rules and boundaries in my home (ie: no eating/ begging for human food, couch when invited, sharing toys, etc) but, the better behaved the pup is, the more freedom they receive!

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals from dogs, cats, reptiles, and even goats and wild animals like sloths! I have owned a variety of dogs, big and small, and am confident in my ability to provide safety, care, and a ton of love. I am currently a college student taking online courses, giving me plenty of time to go on long walks and time to visit furry friends! The safety of your pets and home is of the most importance, and I treat the responsibility with the utmost respect. I understand the stress of leaving the care of your pet in someone else's hands, and it is my goal to establish trust with you and your pet to put you at ease.

About: I grew up having dogs and continued to have my own pets in my adult years. I love the unconditional love and trust that they give. I’m a landlord so I’m pretty much retired. My schedule is very flexible. I have plenty of time for the pups. There’s always someone around if needed. I’m a full time dog mom. I have a fenced in yard no escaping. I share a yard with my tenant, he has a dog Red and I have a dog Monkey. They go from doggie door to doggie door all day. They love playing with new dogs.

About: A bit about myself, although it may seem as I'm a newcomer here to the Rover platform ,I am not as this is my 2nd time around , I unfortunately had to leave the platform due to personal reasons a couple of years ago ... But i am happily back and i am hoping that my many many past clients as well as new clients will once again enjoy my services ... i am a full time homebody (retired) I am used to caring for elderly dogs as well as young puppies ,,, Oral medicine not a problem . Doggies are always separated at feeding times to avoid problems. I am a retired man that is always home , I also have backup help from my retired roommate ,, If there is any time that the dog is alone its not more than 2 to 3 hours. My backyard is very doggie escape proof ,,, complete cement fence that is very high , artificial turf so there is not a flea problem.

“We seriously couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! She went above and beyond, took him on walks, played with him, and kept me updated with the cutest photos and videos. It honestly felt like he was on vacation too lol! You can tell she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. I had total peace of mind the whole time which as a dog parent is priceless lol. If you’re thinking about booking with Megan, just do it. She’s AMAZING and your pup will be in the best hands! 🐶💛”

Sandra S.
“Sandra has been a lifesaver!!! One of my dogs is very anxious and needs a little more TLC. Since my dog has been going on regular walks and overnight stays with Sandra, I can see an overall difference in his daily routine. She goes above and beyond by sending text updates, photos and even must save videos. She is flexible in her schedule and is available same day. I appreciate her so much and so do my pup kiddos. Without a doubt, you and your loved ones will be in excellent hands with Sandra.”

Alyssa R.
“My housemates and I had a cat named Ada and Alyssa was the most amazing cat aunt I've ever seen. Ada is a bit of a troublemaker... always up to something. But Alyssa has such a great handle on the balance between being caring and loving while also disciplining in a way that Ada responded well to. Furthermore I know Alyssa understands that every animal is different and has different needs in order to be happy and healthy. That understanding combined with a willingness to love and adapt to the needs of every animal she meets allows her to really connect and bond with each of the animal sshe meets in a very short time. For those reasons her dogs Jesse and Luna and her cat Astro could not have been more loved or better trained.. Alyssa really is the perfect pet caregiver and I'm so glad to know I can always trust my pets have someone who will treat them like family while I'm away.”

Carly C.
“C is a caring and considerate person. She loves cats and dogs and they are lucky to have her. I have totally trusted her with mine. And they are well taken care of.”

Arthur B.
“Artie is great with dogs. Asher nearly has a heart attack every time he hears we are going to Artie’s- excitement overload. Artie has prioritizes his dog sitting business over everything. He goes above and beyond to make himself available for dog pick up and drop off. He makes a connection with your dog and you know while you are gone, your dog is with someone who truly cares about them.”

North Hills dog parents share their Rover experiences
Andrew and Kris were so amazing! They were in constant communication and were very flexible with our availability. We used them three days in a row during our San Diego vacation. We will definitely be recommending them to our of our friends traveling with pups!

Della was great with our dogs (husky and 1 year old akita/husky/german shepard mix.) Our dog Philip is usually nervous with new people but Della made him feel really comfortable and he was super playful with her. Della sent pictures of the dogs and took them on a nice walk.

Mariah was a great dog sitter for our Cavalier named Maisie! She made sure to walk our pup around the neighborhood and spent some good play time at the near by dog park and took the cutest photos! She was quick to respond to my messages and made me feel safe about leaving my dog in her care for the evening. Thanks again!

Audrey was an outstanding pet sitter for our dog. Our dog is typically shy and takes time to warm up to people, but Audrey built rapport with our dog immediately and made her feel loved and safe. We are absolutely grateful for finding her to take care of our dog! Audrey has such calm and caring energy that made all the difference with our dog! I know that our dog will miss seeing Audrey! I will definitely book with her the next time we are in need of care! Thank you so much Audrey!

I can’t say enough good things about Mo and Eugene! They took such amazing care of my two Frenchies, Manny and Jimmy. Not only were they incredibly kind and attentive, but they went above and beyond to make sure my boys were comfortable and happy. They took them on walks and even brought a wagon with their water in case they got too warm or tired to walk back. A sweet and smart touch, especially for flat-faced pups like mine. I felt comfortable knowing Manny and Jimmy were in such caring hands. Highly recommend Mo and Eugene to anyone looking for loving, reliable sitters!

I’m so happy I found him! He works from home so he spent a ton of time with my baby. I work variable shifts at the hospital so he was really flexible about boarding him over night and the pickup/drop off times to accommodate my graveyard. He FaceTimed me so I could say goodnight to my baby and sent me lots of pics of their adventure. HIGHLY recommend!!!
