Lisa gave him the necessary space to warm up to her with some drop-in visits initially and then was a superb house sitter. Lisa took superb care of our dog and our home and communicated with photos every day. Can’t recommend her enough!”

Mully is a relatively recent international rescue, and while he is great with my husband and i, he's been pretty nervous and uncomfortable with visitors to the house. knowing this, because it was our first time leaving him alone with someone, we looked for a sitter who would be willing to do some walks and visits to our house while we were home in the weeks before our trip, so that Mully would at least be familiar with him when he came to stay overnight. Jeff happily worked with us on our plan, so in addition to the meet and greet we did, he came and did a walk and a home visit before our trip. each time Mully settled down a little bit more, so we felt hopeful that he would not be overly stressed when we left for our trip. Jeff was very gentle with Mully, and he did a great job of appropriately responding to Mully's signals and body language to know how close to get to him and when to back off and give him some space. he clearly won Mully over in the course of the three days we were gone... when we left Mully was still giving lots of side eye and didn't want to be pet, but by the last night he and Jeff were serious cuddle buddies. In addition to Jeff's amazing care of Mulligan, we came home to an immaculate home, so he clearly took great care of the house as well. and he sent us pics and updates so we could see that Mully was getting more and more comfortable through the course of our trip. We came home to a happy and not at all stressed dog... which confirms that Mully took to Jeff and felt safe and happy with him. we are super grateful to have found Jeff, and we will definitely book him again when we travel. :)”

About: I’ve helped take care of family pets since I was 4 and have continued now with my own. Neighbors and friends have trusted me with feeding, walking and looking after their pets. I’ve had senior pups that needed a little extra care and medication, as well as puppies who need that little bit of extra attention. I love all dogs of any age and size. I’m currently not working, so I have plenty of time for walks and play! I have weekdays and weekends free to check in or take pets on walks. I have experience with crate training and will do whatever it takes to make your pet feel comfortable while you are away. I will follow any directions or rules left to create trust between your pet and myself.
