About: Hello, I have experience dog sitting for friends and family. My childhood German Shephard instilled in me a love of all canine creatures that I carry with me to this day. I would love to chat with you and help you with what you and your dog needs and wants. Proud caretake of a black cat, originally my grandmothers that she can't take care of anymore due to a stroke. All animals are deserving of a friendly face who they feel is there to love and help them! I live on Long Island but also work in Roosevelt Island in NYC. I'm willing to serve dogs in both communities. I want to help out with animals because I truly love and cherish them. Thanks for reading! Native English Speaker with some Spanish and French proficiency. Respectful of all Races/Ethnicities/Religions/Orientations/Gender Expression's. I'm usually good before 2pm in the daytime and then some evenings by appointment after 8pm-9m. If this doesn't work for you we can talk about making the schedule work to see if its possible. Comfortable with walking big dogs and dogs that push the walker as well. Have no problem with dogs of any size and good to get them to run around a while to get some energy out if needed.

“Diego was absolutely amazing with my cat, Tito! From the moment we connected, he was professional, kind, and clearly very experienced with pets. He took the time to understand Tito’s routine and personality, and I felt completely at ease leaving my fur baby in his care. I received regular updates and adorable photos, and I could tell Tito was comfortable and well-cared for the entire time. I highly recommend Diego to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. I’ll definitely be booking with him again!”

About: I’ve cared for pets since I was very young. I had many dogs of my own. Many different breeds from small to large dogs. I have gone to classes to get my certificate for grooming and vet assistant. I want to make this my primary job and will like to have a good loving and caring connection with my clients pets. I will be fine working from 11am-3pm weekdays but I can make time for any urgent care and needs. I have lots of patience with pets and wouldn’t mind cleaning feeding walking or even playing with your dogs or cats same I do with my pets. Anything necessary I’m here to help.

About: I've had a dog for the last 12 years and ever since then I discovered my love for animals! I've taken care of dogs, cats and birds. Now that I finished High School I will be home for a while before I start my career in Vet Tech or Dog Grooming However, for now I want to get more time with animals before I start. I have a fenced in yard with a lot of room for your dog to run. We have a fenced in pool however they are more then welcome to go for a swim if that's what they like.

About: My parents surprised me with my first puppy when I was 18 and I can proudly say I raised my Rosie to be the sweetest most playful girl. I got Rosie a senior brother (with no teeth) five years later and now Rosie and Georgie are the bestest of buds. I can't wait to further my pet experiences while taking care of other peoples pets the same way I would care for mine!! I'm a part-time Starbucks barista, part-time online college student for graphic design, and full time animal lover. I work at Starbucks Sunday through Thursday mornings, and rarely on friday mornings. I'm looking to earn some extra cash and can't think of a better way to do so. I will come to your home to care for your pet(s). I can feed, play, and give them as many belly rubs as they want! We can even run around outside to get some exercise in.

About: I have a cat named Nero who is 7 years old. I have been taking care of my uncle’s dog named Betty, a cockapoo, since she was a puppy. Besides family pets, with 7 years of experience cat sitting and dog walking, I hope to meet more pets and have the opportunity to take care of yours! My schedule is very flexible! I am available Monday - Sunday. Any unavailable dates and times will be regularly updated ahead of time on my calendar. I will keep your pet comfortable, safe, and happy with me while I take care of their meals, walks, or playtime! My goal is to take care of any needs while their owner is away.

About: I have a German shepherd who gets treated like royalty; from her cozy bedding for her afternoon naps, to her healthy-quality treats, and even me changing up the route of her walk so she doesn't get bored, are a few things I do for her that keeps her energy and mood up. I have a huge heart and just genuinely care about living things because they have feelings too. Generally, I am a pretty reliable person; I don't have children and Rover Pet Care seems like the perfect position to supplement my schedule with emotional rewards. While caring for pets, I always keep an eye on them at all times (they can get into things that they aren't supposed to sometimes), when walking my dog, I never let her be in control and is trained to walk by my side with obedience. Treats should be given sparingly and after they have listened to a command. Lastly, discipline is important, especially at puppy stages in order for them to know what is right and wrong.

“Charlotte was amazing! This was an excellent 1st experience and she made it so easy and comfortable. She watched my 3 year old cat and I could tell he was able to get comfortable with his surroundings. When it was time to pick him up he didn’t even want to leave and gave me a hard time putting him in his carry on. Her apartment was clean and spacious. She was so responsive and always sent me pictures without needing to ask. I will make sure to book with her again! Thank you again for everything!!”

About: Hi there! My name is Alex and I come to you with over two decades of experiences working with all kinds of animals. I have worked on a ranch and farm tending to cows, chicken, and sheep. My mother was a dog breeder when I was younger, and she also studied veterinary assistance/medicine so I definitely learned a lot from her. I have had animals my whole life and am very comfortable with larger breeds like great danes, rottweilers, and pitbulls (they're my FAVE!). I try my best to meet each dog's specific needs regardless of breed/behaviors. I will definitely do everything I can to make your pup feel safe and comfortable during our time together. I am self-employed as a consultant, facilitator, writer, and many other things! For that reason, I usually work with clients who have last minute or short-term needs as consistent weekly walks may not always fit into my schedule. I make sure to read your ntoes VERY carefully and a few times. I want to make sure I'm caring for your animals the same way you would to keep consistency in their care. The more detail you are able to provide the better! Please never feel like you are asking for too much, your pet deserves the best of care out there. I know pets can be just as important as any other member in your family and want to make sure I am honoring whatever needs may arise asap.

Scarlett F.
“Scarlet is great! I have three dogs Maltese/poodle, jack Russell and pit bull. I say dogs have a good judge of character they immediately warmed up to her. She helped me out a little over 2 years. I keep in contact and my pups are always happy to see their friend.”

Alex G.
“I highly recommend Alex for any pet related care. They are one of the most reliable, caring, kind, and gentlest pet caregiver/owners. Not only are the quite knowledgeable, but they will definitely ask thorough questions to ensure the best care and follow any given instructions precisely. I trust that when they take my little chihuahua out for walks that I do not have to worry about my dog being harmed since they are also fiercely protective and always on alert. They are very sweet to my chihuahua who is elderly and very particular when it comes to certain people caring for her. They just have a very kind and sweet energy, which I think my Chihuahua prefers. I hope you will give them a chance in caring for your pet! I have yet to be disappointed!”
