These days, I have a 3-year-old Miniature Schnauzer named Louie, who I’ve raised since he was 8 weeks old. He’s playful, opinionated, and keeps me on my toes. Thanks to him, I’ve gotten a ton of hands-on experience with everything from walks, reactivity, barking, anxiety, administering medication, and grooming to managing food allergies and sticking to a routine. What really sets me apart is that I’m a pet parent too, and I actually use Rover myself. So I totally get what it’s like to be on the other side, leaving your dog with someone new can be nerve-wracking. That’s why I treat every pet the way I’d want Louie to be treated, with plenty of love, attention, and lots of updates, photos, and videos to keep you in the loop. I can’t say enough good things about Mo and Eugene! They took such amazing care of my two Frenchies, Manny and Jimmy. Not only were they incredibly kind and attentive, but they went above and beyond to make sure my boys were comfortable and happy. They took them on walks and even brought a wagon with their water in case they got too warm or tired to walk back. A sweet and smart touch, especially for flat-faced pups like mine. Melina seemed to be great with Milo. We were glad to see our dog happy and relaxed when we picked them up from their stay. It's clear they were comfortable. While we were pleased with how well our dog seemed, we would have appreciated more consistent updates or communication during his time with her since it was a one time thing.
