About: I want your dog to feel part of my family. I spoil dogs rotten. Puppies to senior dogs. Positive reinforcement. Anxious dogs welcome. Will always have my undivided attention. IF ANYONE PREFERS TO HAVE ME WATCH THEIR DOGS "SOLO" I CAN DO THAT TOO. I recently retired. Unfortunately, my dog of 12 years passed this last March. I miss her dearly but I am not ready to have another dog full time. I am hoping I can share the love I have for dogs by pet-sitting, caring for your precious pet while you are out. I know how much pet-sitters helped me when I need pet-sitting for my dog and I want to return the favor. I prefer to care for your pet at my home; however, all situations are different and I would not be opposed to watching your pet at your own home. I would like to add, if you'd prefer I watch your dog alone, with no other dogs present, we can definitely have that conversation, as well. I trust me - I get it. I DO HAVE AN INGROUND POOL. AGAIN, DOGS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME, MORE IMPORTANTLY, I'LL KEEP THEM SAFE FROM THE POOL AS WELL.

“Haley did a great job! She was diligent following our instructions and made sure our cat was happy and comfortable while we were gone. Appreciated her pictures and sticking with the agreed timetables. Highly recommend her!”

“Sara did a great job taking care of my 2 cats! She continues to show great care and professionalism and I know they are in good hands when I’m out of town.”

About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for 15 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. Every animal I encounter has its own identity and temperament, which is always fun and interesting to observe and base my care on. I feel like such a winner when I get a standoffish animal to trust me! Throughout my life I've had an array of animals to bond with, though for a long period recently we had just one cat. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). Pet sitting is a way for me to have the joy of loving and caring for a pet in an empathetic way: in their own home, on their own schedule, stepping into their owner's (figurative) shoes for a bit, to make *everyone* more comfortable. Time and again, it's proven to be the best way I've found to give personalized care to precious pets, and allow owners to truly enjoy their time away. My part-time library job offers me a lot of flexibility, leaving me the opportunity to do more of what I love. Traveling, exploring new areas, experiencing new food, going to music events, working out/walking, spiritual activities, and creative endeavors have a place in my life because of this balance. Of course that also includes one of the most rewarding ways to punctuate my life: house and pet sitting! I base my care around the individual needs of the pet and owner! Pets LOVE their routines, so I typically live in harmony with their modus operandi, on balance with my part-time engagements.

“Tara is very careful to give her best to our cat.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have over 15 years of hands on experience caring for them. I helped raise two family dogs growing up, and now I walk my mom’s dog and my mother-in-law’s dogs every morning. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs different breeds, sizes, and energy levels and I’m confident handling everything from high-energy walks to calm cuddle time. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your dog needs exercise, attention, or a little extra TLC, I’ll make sure they feel happy and safe while you’re away. I currently work part-time in the evenings, which gives me plenty of availability for pet care. I’m free all day Monday and Tuesday, early mornings every day, and evenings on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I focus on making sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable whether I’m in their home or mine. I follow each pet’s routine closely—whether that’s feeding, playtime, walks, or downtime, and I take time to earn their trust through patience and positive interaction. I’m also attentive to their environment, making sure food and water are fresh, litter boxes or potty areas are clean, and their emotional needs are met through companionship and enrichment. I believe pets thrive when they’re not just cared for, but genuinely connected with.

About: I currently take care of my senior catahoula mix, who is my whole world, as well as friends and families pets when they go out of town. I was a rover pet sitter for years and have recently started up again. I love animals and especially animal cuddles and kisses. I pride myself on being an accommodating person who looks out for others in my community and their families (including their furbabies!) I have a routine workweek, Mon through Fri 8-5, I am flexible about your pets needs if you would like me to come before 8 as well as after 5. I pride myself on being a responsible person, as a homeowner and dog mom I understand how I would like my own home and animals to be treated and extend that upon you. Establish your expectations and I will meet them.

“Ashley is great. She is super easy to communicate with and sent me photos and updates on her report card. She made being away so much easier, she will definitely be our go to in the future! Thank you!”
