To ensure every guest receives personalized attention, I have a maximum of two dogs at a time (from the same family only). If we are both out running errands, we are often back within a few hours and usually within an hour, but if there are any special needs for your pup, let me know and I can be sure to let you know if we can accommodate, such as having someone with your pup at all times. While I work during the day from an office, my spouse works from home and therefore is available to keep your pup company, let them go out to the bathroom, and if needed, is available for short play times. In addition to play time, we will give your dog time to rest and they will get plenty of affection. Depending on the dog, we can also head out for a trail walk or a trip to a fenced dog park for a good run/play. You can expect photo and video updates daily (frequency based on your preference) so you can see how your pup is doing. Dog Walking: I'll pick up your dog and take them on a walk tailored to their energy and needs — neighborhood walks, hiking trails, or a fenced park for off-leash time if that's the right fit. Drop-In Visits: I'll stop by your home to visit with your pet(s), play with them, let dogs out to the bathroom, give them food and water and spend quality time with them. I can also care for other pets in the home, such as reptiles, fish, or plant, depending on what's required, an additional pet charge may apply. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks or sniffing the fresh air or enjoying the sunshine and a larger, unfenced area that I can take your pup(s) on short, leashed jaunts to sniff around. I can crate your dog, if ever needed.

I can take trips to the beach or park as long as the owners are comfortable with that. Pets sleep inside the home with me. I can pick up and/or drop off for a small extra fee. About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for over 10 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. Every animal I encounter has its own identity and temperament, which is always fun and interesting to observe and base my care on. I feel like such a winner when I get a standoffish animal to trust me! Throughout my life I've had an array of animals to bond with, though for a long period recently we had just one cat. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). Pet sitting is a way for me to have the joy of loving and caring for a pet in an empathetic way: in their own home, on their own schedule, stepping into their owner's (figurative) shoes for a bit, to make *everyone* more comfortable. About: Dogs are sent from God to make human lives complete. I'm lucky to have 1 well-adjusted one. It's a privilege to spend time around dogs; I treat them with respect and also have expectations for them. The result: a happy pack! (When you're making your dog care choice, please know I prefer dogs who are potty / house trained & treated for flea / tick). Dogs are like my children. They're having fun and learning at the same time. Exercise, water, attention and play time is what makes a good dog! They're a priority when they're with me and no decisions are made without considering how it affects my dog / dogs. I understand each dog is unique; they have their own personality and experiences which make them who they are. That being said, there isn't a "cookie cutter" way to treat a dog. Knowing each one, what they fear or love, what it takes to make them happy is what makes for a good outcome. My ultimate goal is for your dog to leap out of your car when he / she arrives at my home or sees me walk through your door.

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for over 30 years and have also fostered kittens for the animal shelter that I later adopted. I am a substitute teacher during the regular school year and am otherwise a DoorDash driver. I would work my schedule around what you need. Drop-In Visits: I'll stop by your home to visit with your pet(s), play with them, let dogs out to the bathroom, give them food and water and spend quality time with them. I can also care for other pets in the home, such as reptiles, fish, or plant, depending on what's required, an additional pet charge may apply. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks or sniffing the fresh air or enjoying the sunshine and a larger, unfenced area that I can take your pup(s) on short, leashed jaunts to sniff around. I don’t have any pets myself so okay with dogs/cats that don’t like or can’t be around other animals 👍🏻 Available in Grover Beach for walking, boarding, house check ins, any pet related needs! At one point.my dog was experiencing some anxiety, so upon request, they remedied this with mixing some.pumpkin with her food. This was tjsn the perfect balance for her moving through the rest of her visit. This is my first booking using Rover since other dog boarding facilities were becoming to hard on her nervous system. I am bery happy I did! If I am ever in need of care again in this location I wouldnt hesitate to use these sweet humans! About: I would always help my sister take care of dogs when she was animal sitting on rover. I currently am babysitting and working for Respite so I have experience in childcare. I love animals and would love to make some extra money as a college student. I am currently attending Cuesta College twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
