They were incredibly kind, responsible, and attentive to Gus’s needs. Our dog stayed at their home, and it was obvious he was comfortable and well cared for the entire time. They sent us regular updates, photos, and sweet messages that really put our minds at ease while we were away. He came back happy, relaxed, and clearly loved—what more could we ask for? They were also incredibly accommodating when our return flight was delayed. That flexibility meant the world to us during a stressful travel situation. “This was the first time we'd ever used anyone with Rover and we were blown away! We have a 17 year old Chocolate Lab and he's developed a few quirks. For example, you can't just let him outside to do his business. You have to put him on the leash and go out with him. Even in the yard. Even I find this frustrating but Richard acted like this was all perfectly normal and not a bother at all. Richard was so receptive to all the information I gave him and kept us up to date on Sam's day to day life. It was so reassuring and allowed us to enjoy our vacation with zero worry. Seriously. my husband said when he picked Sam up, Sam wasn't even particularly interesting in going home. I wish I could express how unusual this is. I'm pretty sure Sam wouldn't have cared if we hadn't come back for another week or so. I will certainly seek out Richard for future stays and recommend him to my dog-loving friends. I literally cannot think of any improvements to suggest if this were requested.”
