“Julian took wonderful care of our senior kitty CoCo while we were traveling outside the country. I felt very much at ease knowing he was checking in on her, we got photo updates as well. Coco couldn't stop singing his praises when we got home, she was happy to know Julian was her go to guy while we were away. Thank you so very much!”

“She is awesome!! I was worried about my two cats and chinchilla when I went on vacation for two weeks. She was reliable and great communication letting me know each time she was here and how the crew was doing. I’ll definitely request Liseth for my next trip.”

“I had to contact Nicole at the last minute when I realized no one would be home to let the dog out! Nicole responded right away and was able to come by and take our dog for a walk. She sent a really cute picture. I so appreciate her reliability and prompt responses. She even sent a picture of our dog on her walk. Will definately book her again!”

“Second time using Allisa! She’s such a great sitter. Very friendly, commutative, on time and our dogs love her. She also follows instructions to a T and takes lots of photos during her visits. She’s definitely our go-to sitter!”
“Erin was the absolute best! She was so sweet to my dog Sumo, took great care of him while we were gone. I will definitely be booking again with her. Thanks again, Erin! 😊”

“I can't recommend Hailey enough! I couldn't be more happier with the experience from start to finish. Throughout the trip I received multiple updates, and pictures which made my feel like my Piper was in great hands. Hailey followed all my instructions and even worked to build a bond with Piper which is difficult for my little scaredy cat. I know Piper was in good hands when I returned home and she was calm and happy. I will be reaching out to Hailey in the future for when I need a cat sitter again and if you are ever looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter to look over after your cat, I would highly recommend Hailey!”

“Samantha is amazing! She was very patient and caring with my cat in gaining his trust. She sent prompt updates and photos on how he was doing along with updates on what his temperament was like each day. I would definitely request her services again when I am out of town.”

“Kyle has a great energy that I know my dog really enjoyed! You can tell he is a dog lover, and also a good person in general. Will be requesting him again when needed. Thank you!”

“Lexy is a solid pet setter. I contacted her last minute and she was able to accommodate me. Everything went smoothly. She sent me updates and pictures. I've found my new favorite pet sitter!!”

“Graham was available in a pinch for us and did such a great job! Our dogs love him and are glad anytime he comes back. He’s interactive with them and we really appreciate it. 10/10 would recommend!”

“They were so great with Topo and Coco! Lots of pictures and updates the whole visit which we appreciate! We are so happy to have found such amazing sitters for them!!”

“Tami is a wonderful sitter! Our pup Shadow is skittish with new people, but she’s patient, calm, and comfortable with him. Communication is easy and frequent - we really appreciate her and will absolutely keep using her services.”

“Lisa has been amazing! My husband and I got a puppy and so this is all very new to us and using rover. She was helpful with setting up the appointments and came to meet me and our puppy first which was very reassuring. She has been on time for every appointment and our puppy loves her. She has even been helping with teaching him tricks. We are very happy we met Lisa and have already booked a few more times.”

“Anna did an excellent job of taking care of our 5 year old Australian Shepherd mix dog - Kalani. Our dog is a recent rescue and this was the first time we had left her. Kalani can be a little shy and nervous around new people but Anna came over and met her and Anna knew exactly how to approach her. Kalani loves to play ball and Anna kept her very happy by throwing the ball and wearing her out during her visits. She sent us pictures and updates and I could see how happy Kalani was so I did not worry at all. She is an excellent dog sitter and we will be using Anna again and would highly recommend her!!”
“Leslie is an amazing human! I am so lucky to have found her to take care of my fur babies. She went above and beyond all expectations. I will definitely call on her again when I am in need.”

About: Hi my name is Rebecca 🙂 My husband and I currently have two indoor house cats, Ruby and Flora. I previously worked through Rover and have recently reactivated my services. I work from home so I have flexible availability to check in on your kitties in the for feeds and pets. Just let me know what would work best for you! I am not currently sitting pets in my own home. I am always accommodating to kitties in their own home and will always do my best to make them feel comfortable and cared for. One of my current cats is skiddish around strangers so I am very understanding when it comes to shy kitties.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Newhall
Erin is so attentive and caring! I absolutely hate leaving our baby girl behind. She hates being alone, plus she breaks out of her onesie that covers a wound. We are so grateful for Erin sending photos and messaging us the whole way through. She knew how important it was to me to get that peace of mind. She’s amazing!

Gabriela is so great! She's conscientious, reliable, and totally trustworthy. She visited my cat every day when I was out of town for a week. Gabriela fed her, cleaned up, and sent me photos and text updates -- even alerted me that a smoke alarm needed a new battery. I felt safe going out of town. Gabriela had everything handled! I will book her again, for sure. I highly recommend her, no question.

Tammi was awesome! We were on vacation across the world where communication was hard on our end and Tammi was amazing providing updates and photos. She took incredible care of our babies which allowed us to be completely at ease knowing they were in good hands!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Newhall. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
