“The only difficult part of writing this review is finding enough good things to say about Elena. Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. When I arrived home, he slipped right back into normal routines without needing decompression time. Thank you, Elena, for providing Puck with a warm and loving home-away-from-home.”

“Llona was wonderful. She responded very quickly to my last minute request. My dog definitely perceives the vibe of people and as soon as he met her he happily ran into her home. She sent me photos of her boys playing with our dog...he loves children and you can see they are dog lovers too. She was in good communication while caring for our dog which of course made me feel comfortable...no worry on my part. Funny enough dropping your dog off to a stranger is like dropping your child off ...you want to know they are well cared for and that they feel safe and of course have fun. About: I've grown up with many MANY dogs and cats, and am as used to caring for them as I am brushing my teeth. Very secure in loving and handling smaller dogs, as having grown up with three boston terriers. However, I have been a dog walker for small, medium, and large puppers. I take about 3 walks a day outside on my own, and could walk with a dog for hours if needed. Not afraid to clean any animal excrements and get my hands dirty ;) I am almost always free! I cannot do night walks (past 6PM), but am still available for house/pet sitting. My weekends are also almost always free. Starting the end of August this might change, but for now I am basically all yours! As someone who used to have a very anxious dog, I am experienced in creating a stress free environment. For example, I can easily notice when a dog becomes stressed, such as hackles and drooling. I am conscious of the importance of leashing, the importance of constant awareness during walks, and the importance of continued affection. Ready to clean up after any animal, feed any pet on a specific schedule, and also clean a home free of fur. Bonus: I love to give dogs a good bath; Cats too if they let me :)

During times that I am working, though, I typically come early in the morning (or wake up early if I'm already at a client's house), care for the pet(s), go to work, and then come back either during lunch time or at the end of my shift. It all honestly depends on the pets and their needs, but I am completely flexible! When I go to a client's home, I take extra care to respect their property and only go into delegated areas. My job is to care for the pet and maintain the homeowner's trust, so if a mess is made or an accident happens, I go the extra mile to inform the client immediately and take care of it as soon as possible. I want to make sure your pet feels loved and safe, especially within their own home. Even more so, I want the client to feel at ease, knowing that both their property and beloved pet are being cared for!

About: I've worked with special needs animals all my life from tri-pawds, deaf, and blind animals to those with dietary restrictions, behavioral issues, anxiety, and sensitivity to stimuli. Currently I am also employed by a farm that has working breads for dogs and barn cats. I work with a changing and flexible schedule and three days off per week, leaving me plenty of time for checking in on your furry friend. My animals have special dietary needs along with special care for allergies and sensitive skin. They receive joint supplements, specially vetted foods, special bathing requirements, and seasonal medications. I'm well versed at the care special needs animals require because of this.

Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. When I arrived home, he slipped right back into normal routines without needing decompression time. Thank you, Elena, for providing Puck with a warm and loving home-away-from-home.”

“We went on a cruise for 7 nights and Jeff and Danielle took great care of my girl Roxy. It was so important that I could trust them as they would not be able to get in touch with me for most of my trip. After the first night they noticed a blocked anal gland and immediately asked permission to take her to the vet if things didn't clear up. Arrangements were made but they didn't have to take her becuase it resolved on its own (grateful that we didn't have to spend the money and also that they were attentive enough to notice this in the first place). They sent me pictures of her having a blast with their sweet dog and kept me up to date on how she was doing. I would highly recommend using them for your dog sitting needs and can't wait for Roxy to stay with them again.”
