About: I’ve spent nearly my whole life around animals, and I genuinely can’t imagine it any other way. Almost 30 years working with horses — training, rehabbing, and caring for them — taught me patience, how to read an animal’s body language, and how to stay calm when they’re not. That instinct carries straight over to dogs, cats, and just about anyone with fur. When your pet is with me, they’re not an obligation on a checklist. They’re company. I’ll keep their routine steady, give them the attention and exercise they need, and send you updates so you’re never wondering how they’re doing. Whether it’s an anxious rescue who needs a gentle hand or a high-energy goofball who needs a real walk, I’ve got them. Acton/Santa Clarita area. Reach out and tell me about your crew — I’d love to meet them. I work from home, so pets aren’t squeezed into the margins of my day — they’re part of it. My schedule is flexible, which means I can match your pet’s routine instead of forcing them into mine: morning walks, midday check-ins, feeding times, all of it stays consistent with what they’re used to. Between my own animals and my work with horses, caring for animals is already woven into every day. Adding your pet to that rhythm isn’t a stretch — it’s just one more member of the crew. I’m around throughout the day to keep an eye on things, so your pet gets steady attention rather than a quick drop-in and gone. In your home, my first priority is keeping your pet’s world exactly as they know it — same feeding spots, same walk routes, same routine. I don’t rearrange things or cut corners. I make sure doors, gates, and yards are secure before anything else, because a lot of trouble starts with a gate that didn’t latch. I keep your keys and access details private and treat your home with the same respect I’d want for mine. With animals themselves, decades of reading horses taught me to watch body language closely — I can tell when a pet is anxious, overstimulated, or not feeling right, and I adjust instead of pushing. New environments and unfamiliar dogs get introduced slowly and on the pet’s terms. I keep an eye on hazards most people miss: food left out, toxic plants, an open trash can, a fence gap. You’ll hear from me with updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe and settled. If something seems off health-wise, I’ll reach out right away rather than wait — and I’ll always have your vet’s info on hand just in case.
“Liseth is great! My dogs took to her instantly. She takes the best pictures when she visits with them. She is very communicative and was easy to reach. We would recommend her to anyone. This is our first Rover experience and highly recommend her!”

“Yelda is absolutely amazing! She looked after my cat with so much love and care. I received cute photo updates throughout the day, and it was clear my cat was in great hands. Super responsive, responsible, and genuinely passionate about animals. 100% recommend — will definitely book again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

About: I have had pets all my life and also have experience with many kinds of pets. I have cared for dogs and cats and also have experience with rabbits and turtles, I am also willing to prep for any other kinds of animals too. I have been sitting and walking dogs professionally for about 2 years but have helped others with their pets for many more years. I have experience with dogs who need medication and energetic ones too, I am here to help with whatever your pet might need of me. I look forward to assisting you and your pet! My part-time job doesn’t have a fixed schedule but typically I get scheduled in the evening. I am happy to assist anytime I am not busy or working, and I am also fine with overnight stays or late night walks. Currently I do not offer pet boarding at my home, but I am more than happy to care for your pets at your home and offer reliable and trustworthy assistance.

“Perla was amazing taking care of my two cats. I was gone for two weeks, she kept up with communication, pictures, and how my cats were doing. Even though the initial booking was for once a day drop in visits, she was able to accommodate and do drop in visits twice daily instead, on request. Will definitely book with her again when needed.”

“Amanda is awesome! She was very attentive and followed instructions precisely. She was also great at communicating every detail and asked for guidance whenever she faced an issue we hadn't addressed. I highly recommend her, and will use her again!”

About: I enjoy dogs!!! They are so energetic! I have dog sat for 5 palmeranian dogs at one time and those were always very loud times! Lol but I did enjoy them! I can be playful with your dog and I don’t mind breaking a sweat dog walking or even cleaning up after your pet! I know that every pet is unique and I am willing to learn exactly what your pet needs from me! I also know that they respond well when the person taking care of them interacts and gives them love when they care for them! I plan to do just that! I live in a great neighborhood where it would be easy and safe to walk your dog if you needed me to provide doggy day care!
“We could not be happier with the attention and care taken while we were away. This was our first time away from the cats, and their first time without us. When we returned they were happy, running around, tails in the air, and acting normal as if nothing different had happened. Maybe a little hurt they didn't seem to mind us being away, but that is all the better. We'll be back with Alyssa next years vacation, without any questions or hesitation.”

“Trinity was thoughtful, considerate of our home and dogs, and did an absolutely wonderful job communicating and meeting our needs as dog owners while also nurturing our pups. She truly went above and beyond by leaving our home looking neat and giving our dogs excellent care. I especially appreciated all the photos and videos she shared. We have officially found our dog sitter!”

About: I've been a petsitter for 5 years, helping family and friends' fur babies while they were out of town. I am experienced with dogs and cats, small and large. I am very energetic and bubbly, but can match any animals personality to make sure they are comfortable and well taken care of. As someone who has grown up surrounded by animals, I love making new fur friends! I have had pets throughout my whole life. I have three pets of my own that I take care of daily. Two dogs and one cat. I take care of my friends and family's pets when they need help as well. I have two dogs and one cat that I feed, walk, bathe, and play with daily. Regarding clients it depends on their needs, wants and the comfort of their pets.
About: Hi there! My name is Lukasz Paul and any dog I’ve met I have loved like my own! Growing up, I had my German Shepherd, and my Belgian Malinois. I also helped my parents with their pet sitting business in Santa Clarita. From pet sitting, long or short walks, boarding and of course taking care of our own pets, I’ve got experience with it all! I’ve also administered medication to dogs of all ages and sizes. Our pups were rescued as well, with little training, so teaching them tricks was always a fun time! I’m working, so the days I added that are available, have to be either requested Later at night or very early in the morning. My work schedule does change week by week. So it does depend on my schedule on when I am available. My main job, at home is to show love and appreciation towards my dog. When she does something good, I treat her. Doing this will help her to understand me better.

“Jennifer took great care of Bandit! She accepted a last minute request and checked in on Bandit at the requested times. He was well taken care of and I highly recommend her!”

“Was a little nervous to use the service at first. After meeting with Mikey, I felt that he and Thor would get along great and that I could trust him with our dog. Our puppy is still getting use to others and can be shy and scared. Mikey did a great job. Was in contact with us at every and provided updates and pictures. Thor and him will make great buddies.”

“Shannon took wonderful care of our cats while we were out of town. She was kind and calm, which made them feel comfortable immediately. Especially the more nervous one! She was receptive every time we reached out and always sent us sweet pictures so we knew our fur babies were happy and healthy. We will definitely book with her next time we go out of town!”

This was the second time we asked Yelda to take care of our cat, and once again, she was absolutely wonderful! Yelda is incredibly responsible, attentive, and caring. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our cat is in safe, loving hands while we are away. She kept us updated and took amazing care of everything. We will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you so much, Yelda!

Chelsea took wonderful care of my cat and was reliable, attentive, and kind throughout the whole stay. She made me feel comfortable knowing my cat was in good hands, and I truly appreciated her care and communication. I would definitely trust her again and highly recommend her. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
