About: I have been around my dogs my entire life! I have dog sat for friends and family for a few years. I have my own pets and understand how to care for them and be patient. Pet care is part of my daily routine because I currently have two dogs in my household. One of them being a puppy so I understand all stages of pet ownership. In my home I understand the patience and love it takes to care for a pet. I ensure they have balanced meals and long walks. The food I give to them is just as important as the way I care from them.
“Madalyn was fantastic with our pup, Midna (who absolutely loved her). She’s highly communicative, showed up on time, very sweet, and knowledgeable. Our pup is very high energy and Madalyn knew exactly how to calmly handle her. We couldn’t be happier to have found her. We highly recommend her.”

“Alyssa did a great job watching our dogs at our house while we were away. You can tell they were well cared for and happy when we got home. She sent at least one update a day with pictures. Will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Fantastic! Def will use again. She worked well with my reactive and anxious pup and slowly got him to trust her. She was able to accommodate us last minute due to another sitter canceling, and was awesome!”

“Denise have been walking Stella and Milo many times a week and babsitted them in my home a few times in the past few months! I feel very safe knowing she is the one coming, the pups adore her and she always gives a lot of updates/pictures! 🤗”

“Cat Z is a Great Pet Sitter. I received pictures and updates a couple times a day. We were very happy and had a great time in Dallas Wedding. Our home was left clean, dogs were happy and I give her a 10+++++. Thanks Cat.....I will be contacting you soon.. Tonto and Trumps mom and dad.”

“Lexy is an excellent and dependable dog-sitter! I’m certainly booking her again next time. She gives regular and detailed updates with many photos. My dog is about 80 lbs and causes lots of mischief, and she handled everything with ease. Highly recommend!”

“Kristine was absolutely incredible with our large dogs. They loved every minute with her and she was so incredibly patient and loving towards them. I will feel so incredibly safe leaving town the next time we get to book her.”

“We love Jade! She is absolutely incredible and made me feel as if I never left my baby. She provided updates and sent plenty of beautiful pics. My babygirl loved her and brought her so much joy while I was away. We will be booking again and again!”

“Graham was fantastic. Very personable, great with our pup, Midna, and he's an excellent communicator. He showed up early to meet us and Midna immediately loved him. We felt very comfortable trusting him with our dog and our home. We will happily use Graham again, and highly recommend him to anyone who wants someone trustworthy and kind to watch their pup. (Thanks Graham!)”

“So happy to have Lisa watching my 2 pups the last three days. It was our first time with her and won't be the last! I've already booked her again. Lisa was great about communicating with me. She sent an update and pics twice a day without my having to prompt her. She had great rapport with my dogs, even with shy Riley. The house was in great condition when I got home. Lisa really cares about animals and doing a good job. I appreciate all you did while I was gone.”

“Jacqui was very responsive and timely with all communications and visits. Our dog liked her from the very first visit and so did we. She sent us pictures and updates often, which was helpful and reassuring. We felt our pup was well taken care of while we were out of town. We will definitely use Jacqui again in the future and would recommend her to others!”

About: I have had dogs all my life. My family has a fun tradition of naming our dogs after soda brands. Growing up, we had Shasta, Pepsi, Fresca, Squirt, DP (Dr. Pepper) and currently have a 1 and a half year old named Cola. I grew up with all shapes and sizes of dogs. From Golden Retrievers to Chihuahua and Shih Tzus. No matter the age, dogs all want love and to have fun. I just got done training Cola for potty training a few months back and we now have very few accidents, so I understand the constant eye a puppy requires and to hide all socks and shoes if you want to keep them without holes in them. I currently work full time. From 8AM to 5PM. However, I work from home so there is no commuting for me. I have an hour lunch and can push it to 1 and half hours if need be. I can take my breaks at any time so I am flexible for a lunch time potty break if need be. Weekends are pretty open for me. If an overnight stay is needed, I have other family members I live with that can watch over Cola and I am more than able to hang out with your furry friends over night! I currently live in an apartment. Cola goes out at least 4 times a day. So I understand a dog needing to go for a walk and get it out if they do not have a backyard to burn some energy and sniff the local grass and bushes and the occasional fire hydrant. I understand that our furry friends like to snuggle up and take over our personal space and that does not bother me one bit. As long as they are ok with some ear scratches and belly rubs.
“Kimberly did a great job. She had to manage two large dogs over three days. The house and the pups were well cared for. I asked Kimberly to abide by some fairly strict rules with the dogs in order to manage their high-energy and potential anxiety and she did an excellent job. Kimberly have our pups multiple daily walks, administered pet medication, and maintained the security of the house. I strongly recommend Kimberly for your pet/house sitting needs.”

“We will definitely hire Caitlyn again. She handled 4 senior dogs and 1 energetic five year old dog beautifully. The seniors all require medications, one needs insulin injections, so ya, she handled a lot, reported on how they were, walked them. We couldn’t be more pleased.”

“I hope Stacy and her family are always available when we need help with our pets, because they put our minds at ease and took care of our fur babies with the greatest of care! We have had many people help us over the years with our pets and she outshined them all! Our pets loved her and I could feel how much she cared for them. Highly recommend!”

“We had Lauren over to watch our girl for the weekend- she was amazing! Stayed over and kept our pup company, left the house tidy, and sent updates throughout! Would absolutely recommend and will be using her again in the future ☺️”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Forest Park
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Trinity! She is such a caring person and so knowledgeable about animals. I was really worried about leaving our dog because she was just getting over vestibular disease. Trinity went about and beyond to take care of Bella even sleeping downstairs with her since she couldn’t make it up the stairs. She made sure we were aware of Bella’s condition the whole weekend and sent updates regularly. This is the second time we’ve used her for an overnight booking and both times went great! We’ve also have loved having her come by for walks now and again too. Highly recommended!

Kaitlin was an amazing sitter! She followed all of our instructions, took great care of our dog and home, and kept us updated while we were away. We came home to a clean house with a detailed note of everything she had done before she left. Kaitlin is very sweet and thoughtful, she also left us some homemade baked goods. Kaitlin truly went above and beyond. We would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her!

She was absolutely fantastic! As a first-time Rover user, I was a little nervous, but she made the entire process so easy and stress-free. She sent lots of photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pet was in great hands. It was clear she genuinely cared and went above and beyond. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will 100% be booking with her again. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kristine did a wonderful job caring for all of our pets! We have two dogs, a cat, and two hens -- and she took wonderful care of them while we were gone. She sent photos and videos every day, and let us know when they were fed. I never worried about them because she kept us updated so well. I will definitely be turning to Kristine to take care of our pets in the near future!

We had a wonderful experience with Celeste! She followed all of our care instructions to a T, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away especially because it was my first time using Rover. She was incredibly communicative throughout the stay, always keeping me updated and so patient with my pups. My little Lady can be a handful, but she warmed right up to her, which honestly says it all. She was also flexible when we needed her to be, which made the whole experience stress-free. We'll absolutely be booking again — highly recommend!

Carly is fantastic!! She is the best housesitter/petsitter I have ever had. My pets (2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 hens) are SPOILED, and she followed every care instruction perfectly. She sent photos and videos of the pets while we were away so I could see how happy they were. When we came home, the house looked as clean as it did when I left. She even laundered the towels she used during her stay in my home. I would absolutely hire Carly to pet sit for us again. She is wonderful.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Forest Park on Rover is $117.66 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 10,527 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Forest Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Forest Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Forest Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Forest Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Forest Park. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
