About: I have cared for pets ever since I was a little girl, where we had lots of land and all sorts of animals that became family! Our family has worked with many rescues over the years and have had the opportunity to help care for and find homes for many fur babies!! I currently work part time and mostly from home!! I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. This provides opportunity for long walks, lots of yard time, attention and cuddles! We have a large, beautiful backyard that is safely protected by a fence. The dogs will have access inside with free room unless you prefer for us to crate them! We also have two very sweet dogs of our own that your fur babies get to play with!

“Elaine and Marty have given me peace of mind while traveling for work or pleasure. I know Zoey is home away from home with her daily routine and the love she receives. I am guilt free leaving here there and words cannot express my gratitude to Elaine and Marty.”

“Kim was welcoming and friendly during our meet and greet. I appreciated her flexibility when I needed to change my request. Teddy was well taken care of during his day stay and I didn’t have to worry about him at all. Thanks Kim!”

About: We are life long animal lovers that just don’t have time to adopt with our frequent travel schedule. That is why we have signed up to Rover. This is an opportunity for us to help other families whilst enjoying the company and companionship of a dog. Our toddler and 2 teenage boys absolutely love animals so this is more about making them happy than anything else. Without writing too much, we promise to love and care for your pet like they’re our own and will also send updates/ pictures as often as you wish! We know how hard it is to leave your fur baby so we want to make the experience as pleasant as possible for you both. We promise to treat yours like family (because they are). Please reach out! I have a toddler who i am home with during most of the days. We also have 2 lovely teenage boys in school and my husband works full time…sometimes from home or sometimes flying out of town. Our property is over an acre of fully fenced and grassed yard. We have a large pool which is unfenced and a private tennis court. You have to walk up 5 steps to get to the main level of our house which the dog will be welcome in. We have our upper level gated off at the staircase due to our toddler.

About: Hi there! I’m Samira, a lifelong dog lover and former Culver City Rover sitter, now happily settled in Thousand Oaks with my own home and a huge, fully fenced backyard, a true pup paradise! I call it Warm House for Cold Noses because that’s exactly what we offer: a loving, relaxed space where dogs are treated like family. Our furry family includes Dobby, Duke, and Mia. Three sweet, friendly dogs who love making new friends. Whether your pup wants to play, relax, or snuggle up, they’ll feel right at home here. Dogs are treated like family in our house. That means couch cuddles, bed snoozes, and lots of love! We’re homebodies at heart and spend plenty of time in the yard or relaxing indoors, so your dog will always have companionship and comfort. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pup with someone, and I promise to treat them with the same love and care I give my own. Can’t wait to welcome your furry friend into our home! Let’s connect and set up a meet & greet, we’d love to meet you both! ❤️🐶 In Loving Memory of Mona & Tequila Mona and Tequila were a special part of our family and a big part of my Rover journey. They brought so much love and joy into our home, and while they are no longer with us, their memory lives on in everything we do. I’ve chosen not to remove them from my profile because they will always be part of the heart behind Warm House for Cold Noses. I work from home and am home the majority of the time, so your pup will have plenty of love and attention throughout the day! I only step out briefly for errands or school drop-off/pick-up, but never for long periods. Your dog will never feel alone — there’s always a warm lap, a cozy spot on the couch, and a wagging tail nearby. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, pets are treated like family, they’ll have free roam of the house, plenty of snuggles, and a large fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise. I always do a slow and gentle introduction to my own dogs (Dobby, Duke, and Mia), who are all friendly and well-socialized. I carefully monitor all interactions to make sure everyone feels relaxed and happy. I keep the environment calm, clean, and cozy, with soft beds (or our bed!), toys, and a routine that makes dogs feel right at home. Whether your pup is energetic or a snuggle bug, I’ll follow their pace and respect their needs. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

“I left Sully my 4.5 month puppy with Melissa for the first time leaving him with anyone. When I dropped him off after meeting Melissa I was confident he would be well taken care of. Sully had an amazing time with Melissa’s 1 year old play puppy & when i came to pick him I wasn’t sure he wanted to come home : ) There is nothing better than knowing you have someone like Melissa to care for you dog when you need to be away from home. One of her reviewer said 10/10. I agree! Thank you Melissa for taking such good care of Sully!”

“Cassandra was an awesome choice for a special event. She was very attentive to Cheyenne, our 'Pandemic Pup', who is almost threes year old and finally having her first experience staying with a dog sitter. We met with Cassandra prior to Cheyenne's full day stay, at her well designed home. We were reassured that we had made the right choice of dog sitter by Cassandra's dog friendly/centered environment - top of the line in safety, comfort and overall quality and by talking in person with her. The next day we were able to successfully drop our unsuspecting pup off at the door, knowing that she was in good hands. Throughout the day Cassandra provided us with updates on how our pooch was doing in the way of texts and photos. All rang true to Cheyenne's personality and situation. We felt reassured the entire time. We highly recommend Cassandra for the best care your pet can have while you are away.”

About: I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs my whole life. For 10 wonderful years, our family had a loyal beagle named Trooper and a playful mini Aussie named Louie—both of whom taught me and my family so much about different breeds and their unique personalities. Today, we share our home with Mr. Henry, our affectionate and goofy 2-year-old mini Goldendoodle, who keeps life fun and full of tail wags. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages—from energetic puppies to slower-moving seniors—and I treat every dog with the same love and attention I give my own. I’m calm, reliable, and always focused on making your pup feel safe, loved, and right at home. Whether it’s a walk, quiet cuddle time, or a game of fetch, I tailor care to your dog’s needs and personality. Keeping them happy, active, and relaxed throughout the day is my priority. I also build in time for potty breaks and lots of love. Whether it’s a high energy pup who needs adventure or a senior dog who thrives on a peaceful routine, I adjust my day to meet their needs. I have a fenced backyard and a friendly 2 year old goldendoodle to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your pup if needed.

“Finn had the best play day with Pam and her guys. He played so hard he slept all the way home. We will be doing this again next week and I’m sure if he could talk he’d be asking to go back sooner!!!”

About: Hello, my name is Tiffini! It’s amazing to be here! First thing I want to mention is that the prices have the Rover tax included so I actually am receiving 25% less then that and that is why they might look a little high I do apologize. I grew up with all kinds of animals for my entire life so this is not new territory for me! When I was in my late teens early 20s I was working with Labradors in Simi Valley and it was the best experience I’ve ever had they bred and trained them the whole shebang! I learned so much, even more than I thought I already knew ha ha! I can’t wait to meet your pooches, this experience will be amazing and I can’t wait to share it with your fur babies! We are going to have some good times! And of course if you have any cats I’d be more than happy to take care of them while you’re away! Happy barking! -Tiffini I need to know what they like to do for playtime, what and how much they need to eat while I’m there if any, treats, how long do they like to go for a walk or let outside in the back, etc..! I always request a list of emergency numbers and List of allergies if any! I follow whatever instructions you give me on your pets and your home nothing more nothing less I simply just do exactly as you ask!
