Our male dog can be afraid of his own shadow, but I could tell with the daily check ins and photos they sent that they had both settled right in, felt safe and loved and made themselves feel right at home! When I went to pick them up, as excited as my dogs were to see me, they also kept going back to Jen (she was the one home at pick up time) to give more licks and get more pets. Stephanie was wonderful with prompt communication. Jen also has an amazing knack for capturing great candid shots, I seriously have some of the cutest pictures of my pups thanks to her! About: So, a little about me, I’m an animal lover and I absolutely love to be around dogs! I previously had a toy poodle mix and a pug that we rescued but both have unfortunately passed! We loved our fur babies as much as people love their real babies. I enjoyed taking walks with my dogs and just giving them as much love and attention as possible, I’d like to extend that love and care to your pets! I have found myself with a lot of extra free time and would like nothing more than to help care for other people’s pets! I’m a stay at home mom so I’m available most days for feedings and walks as well as runs, dog parks, and any other special requests. I am a stay at home mom, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate just about any request in order to give your pet the best care while you’re away. About: I have been taking care of a variety of dogs over the last ten years. I have been able to give love to puppies, animals in their last months of life, and even three legged friends. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, hikes, playing fetch, and interactive enrichment games. My schedule as a substitute teacher gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the week. I typically work anywhere from 2-4 days Monday-Friday, usually from around 8 AM–3 PM, so I have plenty of availability before and after school, as well as on days when I’m not teaching. I love being active, spending time outdoors, and being around animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to fitting into my routine. Whether it’s a walk, time to play, a drop-in visit, or house sitting, I’m happy to give pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need! I always start by learning each pet’s individual routine, personality, and needs. Most importantly though, I follow the owner’s instructions closely. My goal is to make the pet feel like nothing has changed, even though their owner is away. For walks and drop-in visits, I enjoy getting to know each pet and finding fun ways to keep them happy and engaged. Depending on their personality and energy level, that might include going for a walk, playing fetch, trying interactive games, spending time outside, or simply giving them plenty of attention and affection. I like offering more than one way for pets to get their energy out while also making sure they have everything they need before I leave. For house sitting, I’m happy to follow their usual feeding, walking, play, and bedtime routines while keeping them company and making sure the home stays clean and secure. Since every pet is different, I’m always happy to adjust my care to their individual temperament, preferences, and needs.

About: I have owned dogs for over 40 years. I have taken care of my family dogs for years. I especially comfortable with German Shepards and large dogs. I have recently retired from my full time job. So, I am available anytime Monday through Sunday to take care or walk your dogs mornings or evenings. I currently own a 12 year old shepherd who loves other dogs. I have a good size yard but the dogs would never be left alone outside. I have several bed areas for dogs.
