“We originally asked Caroline if she could walk and feed our two dogs as we were planning to a long day trip. However, we woke up to find our oldest dog not doing very well. It turned out that he had cancer and that we would have to put him down. It was a long agonizing day trying of running tests and considering options before finally deciding that the most humane treatment would be to euthanize. Through all this, we are thankful to Caroline who took care of our remaining fur children--a dog and a cat. It was a great relief to not have to think or worry about them so we could focus on our oldest dog in his time of need.”

“Anna is super sweet and very communicative! She helped out walking my dog very last minute which I so appreciate. Would definitely recommend her and will absolutely be using her again in the future :)”

“Sky responded so quickly to a request I sent for a last minute visit request as I had an emergency and couldn’t get to see my dogs on time. She was amazing despite my dogs being super excited and crazy. Sky thank you! You went above and beyond and you were truly a blessing today. Thanks!”

“James was great with Taina! When we returned back home, Taina looked happy and well taken care of. James followed the instructions I left for Tiana’s feeding and gave her nice walks. I was always updates with various pictures and a narrative of how the visit and walk went. I will definitely use James again!”

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life, from my grandparents tiny poms to my own boxers, I love getting to know each pups personality. I'm also fairly active and frequently go on nature walks and hikes, so a buddy would be lovely :) During the weekdays I'm usually working until the afternoon, but my schedule is fairly flexible. On weekends I'm usually free for drop in visits, walks, or overnight stays. I'll make sure to stay hyper-vigilant of your pups wants and needs while they're in my care! I'm a very attentive and adaptable person, and I understand some pups take some warming up to. I can promise you my utmost patience and understanding.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats my entire life. In my home growing up I had two dogs and a cat. I cared for neighbors animals often whenever they traveled. I’m adept in training dogs and dog behavior. After moving from home I dearly missed my animals and started to volunteer at a rescue center near me five times a week. I’m currently in graduate school online, studying to be an elementary school teacher! I’m doing practical work at schools nearby part time. I’m used to be around two big dogs and one cat everyday but ever since moving out of my hometown I miss the pet life. I volunteer often at a rescue shelter near me! Often I take dogs home for an enrichment vacation from the shelter! I have no pets myself so I offer a comfortable quiet environment for your beloved fur baby! I have a lovely yard just waiting for sniffs. It’s not fenced in but is surround by woods and I plan to fence eventually. And there are so many wonderful walking paths near me.

About: I grew up in a home with two cats and two dogs and just adopted a sweet cat of my own! I’ve also lived for 2 years with a golden doodle (belonging to my roommate at the time) and my sister has two beautiful pit bulls and three cats that I love spending time with and taking care of. I have gone on runs with these dogs, watched them while their owners were away, and done my fair share of pet sitting for others as well. I have a high value of integrity and will be very responsible in taking care of your animals and your home. I truly delight in spending time with animals and have engaged with many different dogs and cats over the past ten years. I also work for a non-profit and have a somewhat flexible schedule.

About: I am a 19 year old student studying political science and fine arts at Tufts University, and I have spent my whole life caring for animals. I grew up taking care of chickens, dogs, and cats, and I learned so much from them. I would love to be able to spend more time with animals of all kinds before I head back to school in the fall. I am very capable and a quick learner if your pets need extra help! I'm off of school for the summer, so my weeks are pretty available. I have a lot of free time during the day and can stay overnight if your pets require it. I haven't gotten to go hiking as much as I hoped to this summer, so if you have pets who enjoy being outside I would love that! My dog is 15, so I've recently learned how to care for him as he loses some of his faculties. Both my parents are teachers, so I have been at home caring for him while they finish up the school year, so I have some valuable experience with older pets. To me, caring for pets means setting and upholding boundaries while maintaining a loving environment and being attentive to the pets needs.

About: Greetings! I’ve had the pleasure of Dogsitting for more than a decade. It’s brings me so much joy and I can’t wait to meet your fur babies. Teryn, my partner, and I both grew up in Amherst and are back in the happy valley starting this summer. He works remotely and I work seasonally so we have the time to give our attention and affection to the pups we watch. Dogsitting has become our additional full time job and we love it! Our schedules and home allow us to give 24/7 attention to your furbabies with numerous outdoor breaks, play, and of course snuggles. Though I have fortunately never had to use it, I do have extensive Dogsitting insurance to cover both boarding and housesitting. We value the peace of mind it brings both us and our clients. I have a degree in Biology and worked as a Veterinary Technician, giving me the experience of various breeds and needs. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have. My partner and I are almost always home, as we don't go off island regularly. Boarding dogs has become part of our daily routine so we have a schedule to fit high energy needs. I love enjoying walks on our trails, going for jogs with the pup, and hanging out in our huge backyard field. We are very attentive and we make sure we have details on their routines, feeding, medications and any special needs.

“Hi! This is Imani’s girlfriend, my name is Hope! Three years ago I downloaded the Rover app and have made this my full time job ever since. Imani has been working and helping along side me, joining me for every house sitting job I’ve gotten. Through this experience he’s had the opportunity to get the inside scoop of the ins and outs of this business. He was also able to meet countless pet owners outside this app and work with them by proving them daily walks/overnight pet sitting. Not only does he have the knowledge to provide excellent care but he also has the biggest heart, diligent work ethic and keen attention to detail, making him the best pet caregiver one could ever ask for!”

“Shona has been a responsible and loving human for both of my dogs. She has taken care of them for the past few years for day care and overnight care. They feel loved when they are with her, and I know that they are in good hands whenever she is caring for them. I know that they love her because they always greet her with enthusiasm and lots of dog kisses when they greet her at the door.”

Victoria R.
“Victoria is great with animals, she goes out of her way to get them what they need. She loves walking and has tons of energy. She is just so outgoing and loves being around pets. I have trusted her to walk my dog a few times and a lot of people can't handle him, he's 80 pounds, deaf and can pull to the point he'll leave bruises on your arms. I don't trust many people to walk him, but I trust her because she always puts my dog first.”

Sofie A.

“Sofie was a wonderful caretaker for my lab while we were on vacation. She adhered to its medicine schedule very conscientiously and sent updates and pictures everyday. We were at ease and were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our pup was in such good hands! Highly recommend”
