“Colleen was great! She sent me loads of pictures and made sure my fur babes were happy while I was away for the holidays. I 100% recommend her and I’ll be using her again in the future :)”
About: Hi there! My name is Sammy and I currently work in Finance remotely. I've always had a love for all animals - dogs, cats, birds, frogs, fish... the list goes on. I have not had the opportunity to have my own dogs/cats in my home, but I've taken care of family & friends' pets for many years and have always given their fur babies such amazing care and attention. I am extremely detail-oriented and follow directions precisely. I'm currently working remotely so I have plenty of time to provide attentive care as often as needed during the week with lots of time for fun! Safety is my #1 priority and I will always contact you if I'm unsure of next steps. Pets are family so they will be given my full care and attention.

About: I’ve always taken a special interest in animal care. I have over 20 years experience taking care of various types of pets ranging from rats to large dogs. I have worked as the lead canine educator for Petsmart as well as a sitter for friends and family. I’m new to Rover but not to pet care. I love being able to give pet parents the peace of mind knowing that their pet is safe and getting the care they need with me. I am only self employed otherwise and I enjoy working schedules that allow me flexibility to have a good work/life balance. I am able to schedule pet care around my other responsibilities. I have indoor cats. I advocate for all cats to be indoor. I do not plan on watching pets in my own home. I would prefer clients have a fence but I’m comfortable with pets on a leash.
“Jenna did an amazing job taking care of our pups! I It is obvious that she genuinely loves animals. We highly recommend her to anyone who needs a dependable sitter or caretaker for their animals/Pups.”

About: I have taken care of dogs for about 3 years, I love playing with them and taking them on walks. I enjoy taking care of pets. I will be able to stop by your house to give your pet food and go for potty breaks. I can also take them on their walks how much ever time is their necessary. I like to start my service by playing with the dog before starting our walk, I like to see what kind of mood they’re in so I can plan our walks accordingly and try to avoid other animals if necessary.

About: Graduate Student & Lifelong Dog Lover 🐾 Hi, I’m Molly! I’m a graduate student in Early Education studying full-time remotely, and walking dogs helps me make ends meet while I gain classroom experience. I’ve been a dog owner and sitter for 20+ years, with experience caring for all breeds and ages—from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I live with my friendly 1.5-year-old Basenji, Reggie, and we walk daily (rain or shine!). I’m responsible, active, and treat every pup like family. 🐶💛 Flexible & Reliable Pet Care – Full-Time Availability I offer part-time availability for pet care. Morning walks are part of our daily routine—typically between 5 AM and 8 AM and ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 miles. In the afternoon, I provide a potty break, followed by an evening walk of 0.5 to 1 mile. This schedule works well for my own dog, Reggie, and any pup we’re hosting. I'm available for the below between 3PM and 10PM Scheduled or short-notice dog walks Drop-in visits Daily or multiple-times-a-day walks Weekly routines or one-time services Short-notice check-ins (with a fair, convenience-based fee) Whether your dog needs regular walks, occasional visits, or last-minute help, I'm here to provide safe, loving, and dependable care. Safety-First, Thoughtful Pet Care in a Calm and Controlled Environment For every pet care job—whether it’s dog walking, drop-in visits, or in-home hosting—I approach each responsibility with a safety-first mindset. I begin by assessing the environment, checking for any potential hazards, and observing the dog's temperament, energy level, and overall health to ensure they’re set up for a positive experience. I come fully prepared with all the essentials: leashes, treats, food (if needed), cozy beds and blankets, separate water bowls, poop bags, and anything else your pup might need to feel safe and comfortable. I believe dogs thrive in calm, predictable environments. As the walker or sitter, I take the lead in maintaining a peaceful, structured atmosphere where your dog can feel secure, enjoy their time, and have fun—all while staying under steady and attentive supervision.
“I'm so happy to have found Jillian. She loves and understands animals, and I left for a week knowing that my cat was in good, responsible hands. Jillian kept me informed of her visits and sent photos all week, which warmed my heart. My cat was healthy and happy upon my return. I will definitely turn to Jillian when I need to travel in the future. Thank you!”

New Bedford dog parents share their Rover experiences
Abigail B. was very reliable, efficient and caring. She truly enjoyed being with our cat and dog at our home. Our dog has special senior dog needs and she was very attentive to him. We would call Abigail again and again for our pet vacation coverage. She was an excellent communicator and we did not worry about our pets because they were in such good hands.

Kristie and Dominick are great! I mainly communicated with Kristie and she was very professional and conscientious! She has a love for animals for sure and will take care of your furry friend very well. My poor pup Kobe got sick ans she helped out asked questions and was very helpful and kind to both Kobe and myself. I highly recommend Kristie and Dominick.

Our four-month-old Golden retriever puppy was SO excited to see Sarah again! He got the puppy zoomies. She really understands puppies, and is patient, loving, and playful - and good at avoiding his land-shark puppy teeth! We - and our puppy - will look forward to seeing Sarah again.
