About: I’ve cared for both dogs and cats for years and have experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. I’m comfortable administering medications to both dogs and cats, and I’ve also provided intensive care for my own dog following a leg injury, including medication, monitoring, and following veterinary care instructions. I currently have two very loving, social dogs who enjoy meeting both people and other animals. I understand that every pet has their own routine and needs, and I’m committed to providing patient, attentive, and loving care while they’re with me. I work a flexible client-based schedule that allows me to check in on pets throughout the day. I’m able to make visits between clients and provide plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and care throughout the day. I’m also available for boarding and can accommodate different routines based on each pet’s individual needs. My home is set up with pet safety and comfort in mind. I keep medications, food, and anything potentially harmful safely out of reach. I use separate food dishes and feeding areas for guest pets and my own dogs to help prevent food related conflicts. I also have dog gates throughout the home so pets can be safely separated when needed, along with a spacious area where they can play and relax. My two dogs are very friendly and enjoy the company of both people and other animals.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15! I’ve had pets all my life growing up though! My neighbors, friends, and family, have relied on me to feed, walk, play, and give cuddles to their pups! I currently am working part time as I just started a new job, so i’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup and get them some exercise! My home has a fenced in dog park that i’m sure your dog would love to run around in and get some energy out! If your dog is better on a leash and loves to walk and sniff around your area I am happy to do that as well! I just want to be able to give your pup a safe and happy visit 😊

“Ixia was absolutely wonderful with our Pointer/Pit mix, Crimson. This was our first time using Rover, and our first time leaving our dog for an extended period of time. (We had to take a trip out of state on short notice.) From the get-go, Ixia was very professional and attentive during our phone consultation - taking notes, checking details, learning the little intricacies of Crimson's routines. Crimson also has a torn ACL, so special care has to be taken during daily activities to ensure the injury doesn't worsen. Ixia was very reliable, responsive, and communicative with us the entire time. She was on time for every visit, sent us pictures of our pup, played with her, spent lots of time in the yard, and even went above and beyond to accommodate some extra drop-ins we hadn't originally planned. We were very impressed and thankful for the loving care that she provided our animals and by her professionalism and communication. 11/10 recommend, and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future. About: I have taken care of my family dog in many different capacities since I was 6 years old, and I enjoy walking, playing with, or just being active around all different kinds of dogs! I currently work at a middle school, so my summers, weekends, and afternoons are generally free! I also live in a pet-friendly home and a great spot for walks near the downtown New Bedford area. I make sure pets I’m taking care of can get a proper amount of attention and activity, so it feels like less of a scary change and more of a fun playdate.

About: Had a 5 month old pup at aged 9 (also had a dominant cat) taught her basics and more over time until she needed medication due to her old age. Looked after friends senior dog which needed meds with food and their other dog that had special dietary needs including medication 3 times a day. House and dog&cat sat for friends that would go away to France for a long weekends I have plenty of time to give care and attention. I am not working at the moment and in between job maybe this is my calling we have a lot of space in the home and in the yard. We do not have any of our own pets yet, but we are talking a lot about them. We have a large 4ft fenced in grass yard and a large basement to allow for off leash freedom to play regardless of weather. Over the back fence we have active cranberry bogs with loads of open space and smells perfect for long walks. I am a fast walker and happy to cover 3-5 miles on a walk. Any fur-babies that need to stay overnight will be looked after like they are my own. I’ll send lots of pictures and make sure your pet is comfortable with as much attention as it needs.

About: Hi! What makes me different is I enjoy my time being spent with the pups. I will always have my attention on the pup. I will make sure he eats goods take him to the nearest by park, walk them around, play with them inside. I have a fenced in yard and if your dog loves hiking I have a hiking trail behind my neighborhood also have a beach close by if there a beach kinda pup. I make sure to interact as much as I can and allowed so they don’t feel so upset the owner is gone I know it can be hard. I am also very reliable. I have extensive personal dog handling and grooming experience over the past 25 years and have owned up to 6 dogs at a time.
