About: Hello, my name is Amanda! I’m an experienced and compassionate pet sitter with 10 years of hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I’ve worked with puppies, senior dogs, and large breeds, and I’m comfortable watching multiple dogs at once while making sure each pet gets the attention and care they need. I have experience administering oral medications, supporting dogs with special needs (including helping care for a blind dog), and adjusting care routines to fit each pet’s personality and abilities. Safety, patience, and clear communication are always my top priorities. In addition to dogs, I’ve also cared for cats and guinea pigs, so I’m happy to help out in multi-pet households. I am a dog groomer, which has strengthened my understanding of dog behavior, handling, and overall pet wellness. I am available most of the day. I am working as a dog groomer so when I am not working with a dog I am available for pet care! It easy to work my schedule around what a pet parent may need! I can easily crate your dog if needed. I will keep your animal in designated areas if directed to do so. I am comfortable walking any size dog or if you have a fenced in yard I can watch your dog there.

About: I’m new on Rover, but over the past 15 years, I have provided dedicated pet sitting services for a wide variety of families, including those living on military bases. This extensive background, combined with owning a high energy Brittany Spaniel and a gentle Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, has given me a deep, well rounded understanding of different breed temperaments, strict home care rules, and structured routines. Whether your dog requires high energy exercise, specialized attention, or careful adherence to specific neighborhood boundaries, I bring the experience, trust, and reliability needed to keep your pets safe, happy, and completely at ease. I am fully insured and operate on a highly flexible schedule, allowing me to adapt completely to whatever your pup's routine looks like Because I work with a highly flexible schedule, I am able to dedicate plenty of time and structured care to your dog. Whether they need energetic play sessions, a long walk to explore, or just a cozy spot on the couch to relax, I adapt completely to whatever your pup's routine looks like. When your pup is with me, you can expect regular text updates and plenty of cute photos so you can have total peace of mind! Safety is my absolute top priority, and I treat every guest pup with the exact same vigilance and care that I give my own two dogs. Because I have 15 years of pet sitting experience including caring for pets throughout different communities I am highly disciplined, respect home rules, and am deeply familiar with maintaining strict safety guidelines and neighborhood boundaries. In My Care & Environment: 📍 Supervised and Secure: Pets under my care are never left unattended in unsecured areas. I am extremely mindful of door safety, ensuring pups are secure before any entryways are opened. 🐾 Tailored to Their Needs: With a high energy Brittany and a gentle Cavalier of my own, I know how to keep energetic dogs safely stimulated and small or sensitive dogs completely protected and relaxed. 📸 Clear Communication: I believe trust is built through transparency. You will receive regular check ins, updates, and photo updates so you always know your baby is safe, happy, and thriving. 📋 Strict Adherence to Routines: Whether your pup has specific dietary restrictions, precise medication schedules, or distinct boundary training rules, I follow your instructions down to a T. My goal is to provide a reliable, peaceful, and incredibly safe environment so you can travel with absolute peace of mind!

About: Had a 5 month old pup at aged 9 (also had a dominant cat) taught her basics and more over time until she needed medication due to her old age. Looked after friends senior dog which needed meds with food and their other dog that had special dietary needs including medication 3 times a day. House and dog&cat sat for friends that would go away to France for a long weekends I have plenty of time to give care and attention. I am not working at the moment and in between job maybe this is my calling we have a lot of space in the home and in the yard. We do not have any of our own pets yet, but we are talking a lot about them. We have a large 4ft fenced in grass yard and a large basement to allow for off leash freedom to play regardless of weather. Over the back fence we have active cranberry bogs with loads of open space and smells perfect for long walks. I am a fast walker and happy to cover 3-5 miles on a walk. Any fur-babies that need to stay overnight will be looked after like they are my own. I’ll send lots of pictures and make sure your pet is comfortable with as much attention as it needs.

About: I've been around dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, so spending time with animals has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up with pets of all breeds, sizes, and personalities taught me that every animal has unique needs, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel comfortable and happy. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust goes into leaving a furry family member with someone else. That's why I take the time to stick to their routine, pay attention to the little details, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease while you're away. Whether they're full of energy, a little timid, or simply happiest relaxing at home, I'll meet them where they are and treat them like part of my own family. My goal is for you to return to a happy companion and feel confident knowing they were in caring, dependable hands. Fortunately, the summer schedule has allowed me to be wide open for any boarding and day drop ins as needed. Plus, I have my own animals, so pet care is an everyday routine in my household. I have a large fenced in yard and a goofy doggo to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog and/or mine if needed.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in East Wareham choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in East Wareham with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
