About: My life has included dogs for as long I can remember and I have always seemed to read them intuitively, including “problem dogs” that others have difficulty interacting with. I have extensive personal dog handling and grooming experience over the past 25 years and have owned up to 6 dogs at a time. I currently have a 10 year old Chihuahua-mix named Kitty but I have experience training and caring for Border Collies, American Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Irish Terriers, Wire Fox Terriers, Poodle mixes, Great Danes, and a Wolf-German Shepherd hybrid. I am knowledgeable about canine body language and how to remain calm around anxious/fearful/aggressive dogs as well as how to redirect dogs from potential conflicts. I own and operate an event-services business which runs primarily on the weekends, allowing me to offer dog care Monday through Friday and on certain weekends as available. I am able to care for dogs according to their owner’s needs and requests. This may include administering medication, changing diapers, feeding, walking or just spending time with.

“Jared was great. When I first reached out, he got back to me through Rover within a couple of hours. We spoke the next day and set up a meet and great so we could meet him and he could meet the pups. He brought his filfriend Tanya, as she may be helping which I appreciated. We were away for 2 nights and parts of 3 days. When the dogs met him they warmed up very quickly to both he and Tanya, so it was set. We left some written instructions to reinforce what we had discussed and Jared was great. Through the app, he would check in when he was coming and their with our pups. We were going through a heat wave with high humidity and he let me know the conditions in the house, we left the AC on. And I had him adjust, so the dogs were comfortable. Overall, great experience and great job. I will use Jared again when the need arises. Thanks.”

About: Hello! I am open to dogs of all shapes, sizes and needs! I have many years of experience with having my own dog as well as taking care of family members dogs☺️ I live in a house in Buzzards Bay with a large yard and a quiet neighborhood for great long walks that I love to go on! I also live right across from the canal and it’s my favorite walking area to do. I love dogs and see them as if they were a child and love them as if they were my own. I have plenty of time to fully attend to your dogs every need- plenty of exercise and attention! I have lots of availability to fit in all the needs of your dog that they may need! Morning, afternoon or nightly walks, play or over night care. My pets are greatly cared for in my home, I would also treat your fur baby as one of my own in your home or mine

About: I have owned a female Belgian Shepherd mix as a child and she was so intelligent that she won multiple ribbons in local skills competitions. I also owned 2 female Saint Bernards (littermates) who I formally trained as pups. They were extremely sweet and gentle especially with my 3 newborn babies as they came home for the first time. I have done dog walking and sitting for several friends, some who had other animals in the home. I enjoy spending time with animals who give me so much joy. In addition to owning dogs and cats, I have also raised domestic rabbits for 15 years and loved the entire experience of bringing new life into the world. We also have a western hognose snake named Remi and she is really great! My children and many of their friends have enjoyed handling her as she is so calm. Other pets we have had over the years include a bearded dragon named Raja, a rat named Tori and several hamsters and fish. Currently I have an open availability schedule but in future I will have part time jobs that will allow me to fit in pet care when I'm available. I look forward to spending time doing what I love! Currently I have 2 cats and one domestic rabbit Each one gets the best care including feeding, grooming, cleaning litter pans and cages. I would do the same for any clients according to their needs and schedules. Dogs would be walked and played with throughout the day or time of care. The home environment is safe and conducive to accommodating animals.

About: I have many years of pet sitting experience as well as three dogs myself. I am training my second service dog (who will not accompany me while I work… don’t worry!) as well as dabbling in the AKC show and sport world. and this summer I will be enrolling in a vet assistant certification program! I have both owned and cared for every size, from XL to XS. truly nothing scares me… medical needs, reactivity, a pet who needs some extra time and care to adjust, or your average golden who loves everyone! There are very few pets i am not comfortable with… and I prioritize honesty and safety above all else. early mornings and late nights work best for me! I am free most weekends and will always try and be as flexible and honest as possible. In a clients home, I will always ask as many questions as needed to familiarize myself with the environment and your pets favorite play, sleep, and hiding spots. an emergency plan is something i always love to establish, and I am never scared to send a quick text to clarify something!

About: I have had dogs my entire life and they are truly the best thing to ever happen to me. I am often called upon to dogsit when family & friends go out of town, I have lots of experience house/dog sitting and when the owners return they always are impressed with how their dog and home were taken care of. I have a rescue dog named Finley who is my whole world so you can rest assured I will treat your dog as my own and spoil them with lots of cuddles and belly rubs. I’m a teacher so weekends I’m always free and am usually always with my dog. I’m available most afternoons for drop in visits or to take your dog for a walk. Summers are also a time when I am completely free and would love to be able to care for your dog(s) while you enjoy a summer vacation! I have a fenced in backyard and a very friendly hound mix dog to keep your dog company. She loves to play and wants to be friends with every dog we meet. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.

About: As a life long owner of cats and dogs, I understand that finding care for your precious family member is a difficult choice. When I meet any animal I move at their pace, understanding that all animals have different personalities and needs. I love to be outside with my own dogs and cuddling inside with my cats, so giving yours the same love and care will be an easy task. I’m currently working on a start-up project at home so my time is flexible. Regular care, or just a one time visit, I’m happy to work with you on your schedule. I am a pet owner myself and care about mine like they’re my children. Any medication needs or special assistance your pet requires is never too much for me to accommodate.

About: Had a 5 month old pup at aged 9 (also had a dominant cat) taught her basics and more over time until she needed medication due to her old age. Looked after friends senior dog which needed meds with food and their other dog that had special dietary needs including medication 3 times a day. House and dog&cat sat for friends that would go away to France for a long weekends I have plenty of time to give care and attention. I am not working at the moment and in between job maybe this is my calling we have a lot of space in the home and in the yard. We do not have any of our own pets yet, but we are talking a lot about them. We have a large 4ft fenced in grass yard and a large basement to allow for off leash freedom to play regardless of weather. Over the back fence we have active cranberry bogs with loads of open space and smells perfect for long walks. I am a fast walker and happy to cover 3-5 miles on a walk. Any fur-babies that need to stay overnight will be looked after like they are my own. I’ll send lots of pictures and make sure your pet is comfortable with as much attention as it needs.

On top of that, I used to work as a veterinary technician, which means I’m experienced in handling dogs safely, recognizing health concerns, and making sure your pet is always in good hands. I’ve also spent lots of time dog walking and pet sitting, so I’m super comfortable with all kinds of pups—whether they’re high-energy and playful, a little shy and need patience, or have specific routines and special needs. I treat every dog like they’re my own 💗 🗓️ Availability: I’m available Monday–Wednesday all day, and Thursday & Friday until 2:30 PM. I work as a bartender Friday- Sunday so I want to dedicate my week days to being outside and helping others with fur children I follow all instructions carefully and make sure pets stick to their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable.
