About: I started caring for animals back in 2010 walking and pet sitting my art teacher's dog. Then, in 2016, I began volunteering at a horse boarding facility. I spent a winter there learning how to bathe, feed, turn out, clean up after and care for horses. I learned about their different personalities and eventually tried riding (I wasn't very good at it.) Since then I have been looking for more opportunities to spend time with animals! I currently volunteer at a local animal shelter, assisting in the well-being of rescue cats and dogs. We play outside, go for walks, and socialize! Safe handling and open communication with fellow volunteers and pet owners is always a priority. General care such as cleaning, laundry, and medication administration are also things I can assist with. I have two beautiful black cats at home named Luna and Cleo. They are very vocal and sweet, and I love spending time with them. They love treats and bird TV. We are also fostering a small cat named Rosie who needs a little extra patience. She is a very loving cat overall, but is still getting used to her new environment. As far as my schedule, I work a regular job during the week, and on weekends I volunteer at an animal shelter. Im looking to fill gaps in my schedule by spending more time with animals and gaining as much experience as I can. Weekends and nights are open for me to take jobs helping with other peoples animal friends. I am comfortable crating your dog if needed, and am also comfortable around anxious or stressed animals. I will be diligent in keeping all the animals safe from harm by paying close attention to their body language, behavior, and their individual needs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15! I’ve had pets all my life growing up though! My neighbors, friends, and family, have relied on me to feed, walk, play, and give cuddles to their pups! I currently am working part time as I just started a new job, so i’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup and get them some exercise! My home has a fenced in dog park that i’m sure your dog would love to run around in and get some energy out! If your dog is better on a leash and loves to walk and sniff around your area I am happy to do that as well! I just want to be able to give your pup a safe and happy visit 😊

About: I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life. I have 3 boxers, and if you know boxers, that is quite the experience! I love dogs and they bring so much joy to everyone’s lives, so I’m happy to help out a doggy family when I can! I am 27 years old and a first grade teacher. I am free after 6 o’clock on weekdays as I tutor after school but weekends I am typically available for the entire day. I would love to help you with and drop in visits or walking, even during the cold months! I love going on walks, pet cuddles, and more. I live in a nice apartment and we have an outdoor balcony as well. The complex is big and spacious as well so there is lots of space for walking around!

About: I've been looking after dogs and cats since I was 12! They've ranged from my grandma's shitzu to dog sitting mastiffs! I've even watched reptiles like ball pythons and geckos. I've walked, bathed, fed, watered, and loved them the whole time. I, myself, have 2 bunnies, fish, and a ball python. All together the most dogs I've ever watched at the same time was 28! It was 5 adults dogs, one puppy the equivalent to a toddler, and 22 puppies! I am willing to go to the cape and islands for house sitting! At the moment I'm hoping that pet care will become a full-time job. At the moment I am able to do any day and any time. I, sadly, do not have a cute puppy or kitty to play with your fur baby, however it just means they get more love from me! I can lift a 75 pound dog if needed and have the resources to contain one if necessary.

About: Always have a comfortable place to sleep, fresh food and water. Always taken out for potty breaks and play time. My home is their home. I’m always home and with the pets I have dog and cat beds that I wash everyday for the new dogs/cats that come to my home I take care of my clients pets as if they were my own my house is there house they will never go hungry or worry about bathroom breaks

About: Hi! What makes me different is I enjoy my time being spent with the pups. I will always have my attention on the pup. I will make sure he eats goods take him to the nearest by park, walk them around, play with them inside. I have a fenced in yard and if your dog loves hiking I have a hiking trail behind my neighborhood also have a beach close by if there a beach kinda pup. I make sure to interact as much as I can and allowed so they don’t feel so upset the owner is gone I know it can be hard. I am also very reliable. I want nothing more than to make a good experience for the pup and owner as I would expect that for my own pup! please reach out and let me know how I can make this a great experience for you. About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was 3 years old, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have hands on experience with large breeds and am confident handling bigger dogs with different energy levels. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the importance of patience, comfort as they age. I put a lot of love and care into every pet I watch. I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby, so I treat every dog as if they were my own. Making sure they feel safe, loved, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work full time but have a flexible schedule where I work from home somedays. My partner also works 5 minutes from our house and is able to help with potty breaks during the day. We spend a lot of time in our yard or walking the canal on nice days and would love a wagging tail to join us. We have a fenced in yard and live in a quiet neighborhood to go on walks. We love to go to the canal and spend time outside. We have a fully finished basement with mini splits and air circulation system, perfect for any size dog to enjoy!

“Ixia was absolutely wonderful with our Pointer/Pit mix, Crimson. This was our first time using Rover, and our first time leaving our dog for an extended period of time. (We had to take a trip out of state on short notice.) From the get-go, Ixia was very professional and attentive during our phone consultation - taking notes, checking details, learning the little intricacies of Crimson's routines. Crimson also has a torn ACL, so special care has to be taken during daily activities to ensure the injury doesn't worsen. Ixia was very reliable, responsive, and communicative with us the entire time. She was on time for every visit, sent us pictures of our pup, played with her, spent lots of time in the yard, and even went above and beyond to accommodate some extra drop-ins we hadn't originally planned. We were very impressed and thankful for the loving care that she provided our animals and by her professionalism and communication. 11/10 recommend, and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.
