“Ixia was absolutely wonderful with our Pointer/Pit mix, Crimson. This was our first time using Rover, and our first time leaving our dog for an extended period of time. (We had to take a trip out of state on short notice.) From the get-go, Ixia was very professional and attentive during our phone consultation - taking notes, checking details, learning the little intricacies of Crimson's routines. Crimson also has a torn ACL, so special care has to be taken during daily activities to ensure the injury doesn't worsen. Ixia was very reliable, responsive, and communicative with us the entire time. She was on time for every visit, sent us pictures of our pup, played with her, spent lots of time in the yard, and even went above and beyond to accommodate some extra drop-ins we hadn't originally planned. We were very impressed and thankful for the loving care that she provided our animals and by her professionalism and communication. 11/10 recommend, and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15! I’ve had pets all my life growing up though! My neighbors, friends, and family, have relied on me to feed, walk, play, and give cuddles to their pups! I currently am working part time as I just started a new job, so i’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup and get them some exercise! My home has a fenced in dog park that i’m sure your dog would love to run around in and get some energy out! If your dog is better on a leash and loves to walk and sniff around your area I am happy to do that as well! I just want to be able to give your pup a safe and happy visit 😊

About: I've lived with animals all my life, cats, outdoor farm dogs, small indoor dogs, to pitties that need a warm blanket and cuddles during storms. I like to study animal behavior in my free time and really feel that I can understand animals of any size and shape. I pride myself on being someone reliable to contact on short notice for emergencies and things of the like! I have my own car to get around efficiently and I'm almost never busy. I will follow the rules of the home and any specifics for each pet, I run on THEIR schedule to keep them as comfortable as possible while their humans are away.

About: I've been looking after dogs and cats since I was 12! They've ranged from my grandma's shitzu to dog sitting mastiffs! I've even watched reptiles like ball pythons and geckos. I've walked, bathed, fed, watered, and loved them the whole time. I, myself, have 2 bunnies, fish, and a ball python. All together the most dogs I've ever watched at the same time was 28! It was 5 adults dogs, one puppy the equivalent to a toddler, and 22 puppies! I am willing to go to the cape and islands for house sitting! At the moment I'm hoping that pet care will become a full-time job. At the moment I am able to do any day and any time. I, sadly, do not have a cute puppy or kitty to play with your fur baby, however it just means they get more love from me! I can lift a 75 pound dog if needed and have the resources to contain one if necessary.

About: I have many years of pet sitting experience as well as three dogs myself. I am training my second service dog (who will not accompany me while I work… don’t worry!) as well as dabbling in the AKC show and sport world. and this summer I will be enrolling in a vet assistant certification program! I have both owned and cared for every size, from XL to XS. truly nothing scares me… medical needs, reactivity, a pet who needs some extra time and care to adjust, or your average golden who loves everyone! There are very few pets i am not comfortable with… and I prioritize honesty and safety above all else. early mornings and late nights work best for me! I am free most weekends and will always try and be as flexible and honest as possible. In a clients home, I will always ask as many questions as needed to familiarize myself with the environment and your pets favorite play, sleep, and hiding spots. an emergency plan is something i always love to establish, and I am never scared to send a quick text to clarify something!

About: Had a 5 month old pup at aged 9 (also had a dominant cat) taught her basics and more over time until she needed medication due to her old age. Looked after friends senior dog which needed meds with food and their other dog that had special dietary needs including medication 3 times a day. House and dog&cat sat for friends that would go away to France for a long weekends I have plenty of time to give care and attention. I am not working at the moment and in between job maybe this is my calling we have a lot of space in the home and in the yard. We do not have any of our own pets yet, but we are talking a lot about them. We have a large 4ft fenced in grass yard and a large basement to allow for off leash freedom to play regardless of weather. Over the back fence we have active cranberry bogs with loads of open space and smells perfect for long walks. I am a fast walker and happy to cover 3-5 miles on a walk. Any fur-babies that need to stay overnight will be looked after like they are my own. I’ll send lots of pictures and make sure your pet is comfortable with as much attention as it needs.

About: I have had dogs my entire life and they are truly the best thing to ever happen to me. I am often called upon to dogsit when family & friends go out of town, I have lots of experience house/dog sitting and when the owners return they always are impressed with how their dog and home were taken care of. I have a rescue dog named Finley who is my whole world so you can rest assured I will treat your dog as my own and spoil them with lots of cuddles and belly rubs. I’m a teacher so weekends I’m always free and am usually always with my dog. I’m available most afternoons for drop in visits or to take your dog for a walk. Summers are also a time when I am completely free and would love to be able to care for your dog(s) while you enjoy a summer vacation! Having worked for as an ER/ICU vet tech at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists in Buzzards bay for 5 years, I am the perfect person to take care of your chronically ill or injured fur baby. From working in the ICU I have experience with chronic illnesses in cats and dogs such as diabetes, CHF and other heart conditions, chronic kidney disease, addison’s disease, GI issues, and so so much more!! I can monitor vitals and administer medication including injectable’s. And of course, I am happy to take care of your healthy energetic pup and tire them out for ya! I’m currently applying to part time jobs but as of right now my schedule is open to care for your fur babies! I currently work at a middle school, so my summers, weekends, and afternoons are generally free! I also live in a pet-friendly home and a great spot for walks near the downtown New Bedford area. About: Life long animal lover with experience walking all size dogs I have been dog walking professionally since 2019. I am a personal trainer and my clients started asking me to also exercise their dogs.. I’m committed to making sure each dog gets the attention, exercise and care they need. I am semi retired so I am available for early morning 6-8am & afternoons 12-5pm walks and check ins Monday-Friday. Possibly weekends by appointment only. I am not offering overnight care in my home or yours at this time. I’m happy to check in with your animals in your home on a daily basis.
