“Quinn went above and beyond to take care of my cats while I was away. She communicated thoroughly when she needed clarification, played with them and took great care of them. Would definitely rebook. Thanks, Quinn!”

“Jackie was wonderful with my 11yo Siberian Husky, Bella! From the moment they met, Bella welcomed her with kisses. She was very prompt and attentive to Bella’s needs for relief and exercise while I was at work all day. We’ve moved to Florida for the winter but look forward to seeking the ease and security of Rover.com in the future.”

“Sarah was punctual and took wonderful care of Penny and Pepper (aka pippa). She put my mind at ease with regular updates and snapshots which I loved! I definitely recommend her and plan to book with her again.”

I have a rescue dog named Finley who is my whole world so you can rest assured I will treat your dog as my own and spoil them with lots of cuddles and belly rubs. I’m a teacher so weekends I’m always free and am usually always with my dog. I’m available most afternoons for drop in visits or to take your dog for a walk. Summers are also a time when I am completely free and would love to be able to care for your dog(s) while you enjoy a summer vacation! I have a fenced in backyard and a very friendly hound mix dog to keep your dog company. She loves to play and wants to be friends with every dog we meet. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.

“Alex is amazing! I recently moved to the area and needed a last-minute sitter for my dog, Theo. Alex responded quickly and was so comforting during our meet and greet. (I have only ever had family watch Theo so far, so my first time using Rover) She provided so many cute photos on her visits and her visit reports were so cute and unexpected, we looked forward to them every day! I highly recommend Alex and will 1,000% be using her again.”

About: My life has included dogs for as long I can remember and I have always seemed to read them intuitively, including “problem dogs” that others have difficulty interacting with. I have extensive personal dog handling and grooming experience over the past 25 years and have owned up to 6 dogs at a time. I currently have a 10 year old Chihuahua-mix named Kitty but I have experience training and caring for Border Collies, American Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Irish Terriers, Wire Fox Terriers, Poodle mixes, Great Danes, and a Wolf-German Shepherd hybrid. I am knowledgeable about canine body language and how to remain calm around anxious/fearful/aggressive dogs as well as how to redirect dogs from potential conflicts. I own and operate an event-services business which runs primarily on the weekends, allowing me to offer dog care Monday through Friday and on certain weekends as available. I am able to care for dogs according to their owner’s needs and requests. This may include administering medication, changing diapers, feeding, walking or just spending time with.

About: As a husky mix owner, I’m very used to high-energy dogs and the importance of consistent, engaging walks. I work in a restaurant that doesn’t open till 4:30 Monday - Friday so I am available all day, some weekends and a few nights a week! I care for pets by maintaining a calm, safe, and familiar environment that follows their usual routine. I pay close attention during walks and playtime to ensure they’re safe and comfortable at all times. I’m careful with doors, leashes, and introductions to other animals, and I always treat the client’s home with respect. My goal is to make pets feel secure and cared for while owners are away.
About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for family and for neighbors where I would walk, feed, and watch them! I also have dogs of my own of all ages! I will be starting college in the fall, but will be commuting so my schedule will stay flexible throughout the entire year! I can do almost any day/any time! In my own home, we have a fenced in yard to keep the dogs in! As for potential clients, I will bend around their needs to keep their pets safe!
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, medications, and giving pets extra patience and attention based on their individual needs. I am a college student home for the summer, I have availability all week to meet the needs of your dogs! Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life—I have my own dogs, so my routine naturally revolves around feeding, walking, playtime, and making sure they’re happy and healthy. Adding other pets into that routine feels like a natural extension of what I already love doing. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. In my home, pets get plenty of attention, structured routines, and playtime—plus a cozy space to relax, just like one of my own dogs. When I’m in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific instructions. I respect each home as if it were my own and always keep communication open with regular updates and photos.

About: I have owned a female Belgian Shepherd mix as a child and she was so intelligent that she won multiple ribbons in local skills competitions. I also owned 2 female Saint Bernards (littermates) who I formally trained as pups. They were extremely sweet and gentle especially with my 3 newborn babies as they came home for the first time. I have done dog walking and sitting for several friends, some who had other animals in the home. I enjoy spending time with animals who give me so much joy. In addition to owning dogs and cats, I have also raised domestic rabbits for 15 years and loved the entire experience of bringing new life into the world. We also have a western hognose snake named Remi and she is really great! My children and many of their friends have enjoyed handling her as she is so calm. Other pets we have had over the years include a bearded dragon named Raja, a rat named Tori and several hamsters and fish. Currently I have an open availability schedule but in future I will have part time jobs that will allow me to fit in pet care when I'm available. I look forward to spending time doing what I love! Currently I have 2 cats and one domestic rabbit Each one gets the best care including feeding, grooming, cleaning litter pans and cages. I would do the same for any clients according to their needs and schedules. Dogs would be walked and played with throughout the day or time of care. The home environment is safe and conducive to accommodating animals.

“Michelle was great dropping in on my cat Oakley when I was on vacation. She sent me updates and made me feel comfortable that he was in good hands. I’d definitely book her again.”

Sagamore Beach dog parents share their Rover experiences
Mackenzie was great! We were happy to get lots of photos and detailed updates on our pup while we were away. She helped keep our dog on schedule with going to the bathroom and took her on walks. She was nice enough to clean up the little pee messes our dog makes when she gets excited. We can’t thank Mackenzie enough!
