“Total rock star sitter - could not recommend Kari any more highly! This was only Sadie‘s second time boarding in someone else’s home without me…I learned from my first experience that Sadie does not do great with other pets in the house… and, even though Kari’s was pet free, I was still trepidatious about trying another boarding situation in a strange (to my pup) home. My fears were immediately alleviated upon meeting and seeing Kari interact with Sadie and how she let Sadie explore around her wonderful home. Physical relief was all I felt when I left Sadie with her. Kari kept me informed each day with reports and pictures of what she and Sadie were doing, and I was never worried that Sadie was anxious or anything but completely comfortable. Seriously will make sure that Kari is available anytime I plan anything where I need to leave Sadie with someone for any reason! I think my girl had a great time and definitely was very well cared for. Cannot thank Kari and her family enough! ❤️❤️❤️”

About: I started caring for animals back in 2010 walking and pet sitting for my art teacher's dog. In 2016, I began volunteering at a horse boarding facility. I spent a winter there learning how to bathe, feed, turn out, clean up after and care for horses. Since then I have been looking for more opportunities to spend time with animals! I currently volunteer at a local animal shelter, assisting in the well-being of rescue cats and dogs. We play outside, go for walks, and socialize! General care such as cleaning, laundry, and medication administration are also things I can assist with. I have two beautiful black cats at home named Luna and Cleo. They are very vocal and sweet, and I love spending time with them. As far as my schedule, I work a regular job during the week, and on weekends I volunteer at an animal shelter. We are both contract workers with flexible schedules, and Taylor is often able to work from home so your pets will have plenty of companionship! So we told you our mission-- There's a few ways this translates. We have a huge yard. So, we don't take your pups on walks. BUT. We play fetch, tug of war, and intentionally initiate zoomies. If your pup is conditioned to expect walks, it's probably most fair to find a sitter who'll get that walk in! We love a good daytime cuddle, but we also like a good night's rest. So, your pets sleep in the living room, helping us avoid chaos while we're getting shut-eye. I will make sure he eats goods take him to the nearest by park, walk them around, play with them inside. About: I've been looking after dogs and cats since I was 12! They've ranged from my grandma's shitzu to dog sitting mastiffs! I've even watched reptiles like ball pythons and geckos. I've walked, bathed, fed, watered, and loved them the whole time. I, myself, have 2 bunnies, fish, and a ball python. All together the most dogs I've ever watched at the same time was 28! It was 5 adults dogs, one puppy the equivalent to a toddler, and 22 puppies! I am willing to go to the cape and islands for house sitting! At the moment I'm hoping that pet care will become a full-time job. At the moment I am able to do any day and any time. I, sadly, do not have a cute puppy or kitty to play with your fur baby, however it just means they get more love from me! I can lift a 75 pound dog if needed and have the resources to contain one if necessary.

I am a professional dog groomer and work from home. There is a six foot fenced in area for playtime or for just relaxing in the fresh air. I have dogs of my own that love to make new friends and play. If your dog requires quiet I also have an area for peacefulness.
About: I have had a dog my whole life and love playing with him, walking him, and running with him. I always take care of the dog I used to have and play with him all day long. He was very active and playful so I am used to dogs who are a little bit more energetic. I have a passion for animals and love being around them and having them in my house. I am a teacher so summers I am more free to walk more as well! I will do whatever is needed to provide the best care. I always follow instructions carefully and never forget anything! I have experience with aggressive, fearful, and special pups. No dog is too difficult for me! I am a student in school, otherwise this is my full time job! I also do nail trims for dogs who struggle at the vet or groomer! Correct equipment to walk a dog is very important. If your dog is easy on leash I will use an easy walk harness. If your dog struggles to behave or is unsure of themself on leash I use a prong collar in addition. Prong collars are SAFE and not scary or painful for your dog!

This was only Sadie‘s second time boarding in someone else’s home without me…I learned from my first experience that Sadie does not do great with other pets in the house… and, even though Kari’s was pet free, I was still trepidatious about trying another boarding situation in a strange (to my pup) home. My fears were immediately alleviated upon meeting and seeing Kari interact with Sadie and how she let Sadie explore around her wonderful home. Physical relief was all I felt when I left Sadie with her. Kari kept me informed each day with reports and pictures of what she and Sadie were doing, and I was never worried that Sadie was anxious or anything but completely comfortable. Seriously will make sure that Kari is available anytime I plan anything where I need to leave Sadie with someone for any reason!
