No pet too big or too small!
Growing up, I knew I wanted to work with and help animals feel safe. From being the first to help a neighbor rescue some baby squirrels in my old Florida neighborhood to providing a space for an injured skunk to regain his strength in a dry, safe shelter. I have had pets as small as a mouse and help care for a mare enjoying her retirement! Since starting Rover, I’ve been expanding my knowledge especially when it comes to anxious pets and how to handle them to the best of their comfort. Whether it’s once every six months or once a year, I’m here to support you and your pet by building a bond with them each visit by learning about the pets own little quirks and personalities! I’m hoping over the next couple of years I’m able to expand my services to offer more support to anxious pets to help ease their mind and yours!

Safety, trust & environment
In a client’s home, I would enter slowly and greet their pet(s) softly, allowing them to come up to me before advancing. After that, I will fulfill the tasks needed done by the pet owner (walk,potty,feeding, etc.) and spend time with the pet to play or to keep them company!

Abigail was wonderful at taking care of our two cats while we were away! It was our first time using a cat-sitter and we were a bit anxious about it at first, but as soon as we met Abigail we were put at ease. She is extremely professional and communicative, and she definitely has a calming presence among shy animals. Our cats don't usually like interacting with strangers, but I could tell from the photos and videos of her visits that they were showed much more curiosity for than fear of Abigail. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and was always willing to go above and beyond, including a last-minute extra visit when I wanted to make sure there was still enough litter in their box. We will feel much more comfortable traveling in the future knowing that our cats will be well taken care of by Abigail!
Abigail B. was very reliable, efficient and caring. She truly enjoyed being with our cat and dog at our home. Our dog has special senior dog needs and she was very attentive to him. We would call Abigail again and again for our pet vacation coverage. She was an excellent communicator and we did not worry about our pets because they were in such good hands.

Abby is great! My dogs loved her. She sent a lot of great photos and I could tell the dogs had a wonderful time.

Schedule
My main focus is your pet(s)! For shorter notices, as long as I have the availability that current week to provide the needed care I would love to squeeze your pet in for last minute changes to your plans! Otherwise, I am always open to talk about future dates and how I am able to provide the best possible care for your pet in your absence! I care more for the quality of time spent with your pet over the quantities of stops I make a day, ensuring the comfort and safety of your fur baby!
