During that time I’ve helped feeding, walking, playtime, and sometimes overnight care if they were going on vacation. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy being around animals. I have raised a few dogs myself, and have watched family and friends pets (including snakes, spiders, and chinchillas). I’ve volunteered at animal shelters walking dogs, playing with critters, cleaning their living spaces and even fostering a few dogs. I enjoy the healing energy animals bring, as well as the exercise. I love all kinds of animals! Slightly unrelated, I also have a bachelors degree in psychology and I use that in daily life. I bartend part time at a restaurant, so I have a lot of free time, especially mornings. My day is centered around playing with my dog (hide and seek with toys or treats or myself, tricks for treats, tug of war, fetch and taking her on walks). It has slowed down since she got diagnosed with early onset advanced arthritis, so I thought it would be fun to look for something I would love to do but also make a little extra money doing.
