About: Hi! My name is Sherlynn, and I’m a Salinas local with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all types. I’ve grown up around pets and have cared for dogs, cats, birds, and even a bunny. I raised my pit bull mix from puppyhood into adulthood, and I currently care for a German Shepherd who I’ve had for over four years. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels — from calm companions to more active, strong breeds. I enjoy taking pets on safe, enriching walks at local parks and beaches, and I always tailor care to each pet’s needs and routine. Safety and communication are my top priorities. I’m confident handling unexpected situations calmly and responsibly, and I make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and loved while in my care. I’m open to working with all breeds and always treat every pet as if they were my own. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and well-being will always come first. Feel free to reach out with any questions — I’d love to meet you and your pet! I am a Autism Behavior Technician for Salinas District in Salinas, M-F. My schedule is pretty flexible as I also dont work weekends so if needed I can sit. I do live in house that has a fenced yard. I live less than 1 minute away from a dog park which is so convenient. My neighborhood is calm.
“Last night was the third time Ashton watched/walked our great dane. Tiny, our 160 lb dane, loves Ashton. And Ashton is equally popular with our cats. Ashton shows up on time and washes whatever dishes he uses, both signs of how responsible he is. He sends us pics of our furry family and keeps us informed. We'll use him again.”

About: Starting in high school I worked for an adoption center and have worked with animals ever since. From dogsitting, cat sitting, volunteering at the animal shelter, and more, I’ve always enjoyed being involved with animals. My main job is an online fitness coach and so I can work remotely due to that. For that reason I’m able to work with just about any schedule your animal may have. I’ve worked with elder dogs as well as puppies to help them maintain their usual routine. I’m also practiced in giving eye drops, medication, and insulin shots through my other pet sitting jobs I’ve done in the past. For me the most important thing is not breaking routine. I’m a creature of habit myself so I appreciate descriptive texts or notes that way I can help keep your animal in the same pattern as they would be if you were home.
“Chrystina is so nice! Our pup was a very happy camper in her care. We’d happily recommend Chrystina to any other pet family and will definitely ask her to watch Angus again!”

About: Hi! I’m a veterinary professional with 6.5 years of experience in animal medicine, including 2 years in emergency and specialty care. Animals are my life and my career — I genuinely love what I do. Whether your pet needs medication administered, has special medical needs, or just needs lots of love while you’re away, I’ve got them covered. I’m communicative, reliable, and will keep you updated every step of the way so you can enjoy your time away with total peace of mind. I’m regularly available Saturday through Monday each week, making me a great option for weekend getaways, short trips, and Monday holiday travel. I work in veterinary emergency medicine during the week so my schedule is consistent and reliable — when I’m available for your pet, they have my full attention. Please note that I occasionally pick up Saturday shifts at the hospital, so I recommend reaching out a week or two in advance for weekend bookings so I can confirm my availability. I always communicate promptly and will never leave you without plenty of notice. When I’m in your home, my priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I always follow your instructions carefully — feeding schedules, medication routines, exercise needs, behavioral quirks — nothing gets overlooked. I’ve spent 6.5 years in veterinary medicine learning that every animal is an individual, and I bring that same attentive, personalized approach to every visit and stay. During drop-in visits I make sure your pet is fed, watered, exercised, and given plenty of genuine attention — not just a quick check in and out. During house sitting stays I treat your home with the utmost respect and your pet as if they were my own patient. I maintain their routine as closely as possible so they experience minimal stress in your absence. As an emergency and specialty veterinary professional I’m also trained to recognize early warning signs of illness or distress that most pet sitters wouldn’t notice — changes in breathing, appetite, behavior, mobility, or energy levels. If anything seems off I will contact you immediately and if necessary can coordinate directly with your veterinarian given my medical background. I send photo and video updates throughout every visit and stay so you always know exactly how your pet is doing. I know how hard it is to leave your animal behind — my goal is to make that as easy as possible for both of you.
About: I am new to this app, but I’m not new to loving and caring for dogs. I treat every doggy like they’re my own because to me, this is more than just a job, it’s about building trust and creating a safe, loving space while you're away. Whether it's a walk, playtime, or cozy cuddles on the couch, I’m here to give your dog the same love and care you would. I’m available Monday through Friday, with the exception of Friday mornings. On weekends, I’m also available and happy to help with walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I provide care in your dog’s home, where they feel safest and most comfortable. I don’t think I will be providing services in my own home since it’s an apartment, but I’m more than happy to come to yours, whether that’s for walks, feedings, playtime, or just keeping your doggy company. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect I give your dog, and I’ll always follow your instructions closely to make sure everything runs smoothly while you’re away.
“Anissa was wonderful and super responsive whenever I messaged her. Asks plenty of questions to make sure she’s handling our dog with the outmost care and we truly appreciate that. Thank you very much🙏🏼”

About: I've had the pleasure of caring for many pets, both for family and friends. I absolutely adore playing with animals, and I'd be thrilled to take care of your pets as part of my job. I have a dog of my own and enjoy going on walks with him, so I'd love to take your dog on walks too. Cats are also wonderful, and I'd be more than happy to care for your feline friends. I can either keep them at my house, where there's plenty of space, or I can come to your house. I have my own transportation, so I can drive to your place to feed them, clean their litter box, and play with them for as long as necessary. I hope you'll choose me to take care of your pets—they'll be in loving and capable hands! I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to take your pets on walks and play with. When I’m not home my family is with them and also treats them with the same love. (No children in the home) I provide safety to your pets by keeping their litter box hygienic, providing a fenced yard, and monitoring them throughout the entire day. I treat your pets like how I’d like my pet to be treated.
“Zoe was amazing ! Ellie loved and adored her and was clearly well looked after for the two days we were away. Zoe kept us updated throughout her stay and were so grateful to have found an awesome dog sitter :)”

About: I’ve been walking and caring for dogs and pets since I was 12, which has given me years of hands-on experience with animals of all personalities and energy levels. I’m also vet tech certified, so I have training in animal health and understand how to monitor for signs of stress, illness, or discomfort. This allows me to provide not just loving care, but attentive and knowledgeable care as well. I grew up around animals and am extremely comfortable working with them, including young, energetic pets and senior animals who may need extra patience and gentle handling. I care deeply about making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while their owner is away. I’m currently a college student with a flexible schedule, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m available after 12pm Monday–Thursday and all day Friday through Sunday for pet sitting, dog walking, and overnights. I’m happy to work around your pet’s specific schedule to make sure they get the attention and care they need. Safety and communication are my top priorities when caring for pets. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to keep their routine consistent and make sure they feel comfortable in their home environment. In a client’s home, I respect the space, keep it clean, and ensure pets are supervised, secure, and never put in unsafe situations.
About: I grew up surrounded by animals including dogs, cats, horses, and chickens which taught me how to care for every animal with patience and love from an early age. I am calm, dependable, and connect naturally with pets, even the more shy ones. I have experience caring for both energetic puppies as well as senior pets, including giving medications and following special routines which I do for my own senior dogs. I always treat every animal like family and make sure they feel cared for, happy, and safe while you are away. Pet care has always been a part of my daily routine, and I love spending time playing with, walking, and caring for pets. I am a recent college graduate currently searching for work which means I have plenty of time to devote to caring for your pets. I can provide care morning, afternoons, and evenings, and will happily adjust to your pet's needs and routine. I care for pets in their own home with much love and attention, following all instructions and routines closely in order to keep them at ease in the surroundings they know best. I prioritize their safety, happiness, and comfort while also treating your space and belongings with respect. Having cared for animals my whole life, I make sure every pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for while you are away so that they feel at ease.

“Teva was absolutely wonderful! She provided updates 3 times a day with pictures of my pup. She understands the importance of keeping an owner at ease while they are away. She is respectful and I will use her again in the future. This was my first time using rover and I was extremely nervous but Teva surpassed all of my expectations. I would recommend her to anyone!”

“My husband (Brian ) and I were very pleased with our first experience using Harrah for an overnight pet sitting. She has a very calm demeanor which our dog likes. We’re not your “typical people”, because we have a very high maintenance dog and are very detailed with our expectations. Harrah took notes and listened well with our protocol. When we returned home we could tell right away that Max was happy and content. (Unlike past vacations retuning home finding our dog had anxiety thru the roof 🥺) We also gave her additional responsibility to feed our Koi pond which again she was stellar at. We highly recommend Harrah for pet sitting and have already booked her for three more trips. 🐾🐶”

Natividad pet parents share their Rover experiences
Taylor was great! She arrived in timely fashion (just perfectly early) and was prepared for her day with Scout. She was prepared from our meet and greet and reiterated the game plan for Scout. She spent a bunch of activity time with him so he was not wound up on our return. A very successful session and we'll be happy to be using Taylor's services again in the future!

Last night was the third time Ashton watched/walked our great dane. Tiny, our 160 lb dane, loves Ashton. And Ashton is equally popular with our cats. Ashton shows up on time and washes whatever dishes he uses, both signs of how responsible he is. He sends us pics of our furry family and keeps us informed. We'll use him again.
