About: I grew up around horses and learned to respect all living creatures large and small. We always had pets at home and they gravitated towards me because I like to play and have fun with them. I had a cat for 16 years in my youth and loved her so much. Kitties will always have a special place in my heart. I have had many pets over the years and my most recent were two rescue shepherd/husky mix wonderful family members. They were brother and sister and both passed away. I do not currently have any pets of my own right now. Pet sitting is the joy of my life, and I cannot imagine a day without walking, playing and cuddling with furry friends. I am home all day and available to spend quality time with your fur babies! I am extremely flexible and am here for all of your pet’s needs. We had to leave unexpectedly for over a week and our 2 regular dogsitters were unavailable. We have multiple dogs and cats, including a 160-pound Great Dane. We were lucky to find Sophia on Rover. We met her in-person hours later and we (and our managerie) liked her. She came to stay in our home a few hours later. Sophia did a wonderful, though not perfect job, (she missed walks on a couple of days), of watching our home and animals. Our dogs clearly love her, she administered our Dane's medicines correctly, sent us pics of their walks, brought in mail, and we were able to attend to an out-of-country funeral with no worries about our dogs, cats or home. She gave us peace of mind. We came home late, but she stayed and waited. She was very friendly and respectful...and our home was left spotless. We highly recommend her and would use her again.

We appreciated the regular updates, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We came home to happy, well-cared-for animals and a house in great shape.
