I have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember and share a deep bond with them. I regularly volunteer at the pound and SPCA, dedicating my time to help those in need. With my extensive knowledge of pet grooming, including nail trimming and overall care, I approach each animal with passion and commitment. I have experience training dogs and have cared for a variety of breeds, from 7 lbs to a 120 lbs mastiff. Rest assured, I will treat your pet with the same kindness and love I show my own. As an active individual, I can provide energetic walks that will leave your pup happily worn out. My five-star rating on Wags reflects my track record, having walked and sat numerous dogs with great success. As a true animal lover, my priority will always be to ensure your dog feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. I will maintain their training so that the positive behaviors you desire continue to flourish, and I will happily keep you updated with photos and stories. I recently began a new job that runs from 8 AM to 5 PM, but this will not compromise the quality of care I provide. I am committed to meeting all of your pet's needs before and after my work hours. If your pet is located near my office, I can also stop by during my lunch break from 12 to 1 p.m. to check in on them. I have not received certification; however, I have the Red Cross first aid app, which is the perfect on-the-go reference guide for fast and effective care, and I am working on registering for an online CPR first aid pet class. Your pet will receive the best care with me!

We had an excellent experience with Samantha. Caring for multiple pets, including a puppy, is no small task, and she handled everything with consistency and care. We appreciated the regular updates, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We came home to happy, well-cared-for animals and a house in great shape. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to others.

It was my first time using Rover and I was little nervous because usually my pets go to a pet hotel. However, Samantha put every worry to ease. She allowed me to call my pet and sent updates and pictures of them frequently. I saw how kind and gentle she was with my Bella and I was able to no longer be anxious. Bella is a shy dog and usually takes a while to warm up to people but Samantha was able to comfort her and get her out of her shell. Would love to book her again and highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work full-time from 8 AM to 5 PM and take an hour-long lunch during which I usually head home. This means I can check in on your pet between 12 and 1 p.m. while I'm in the Salinas area. On weekends, I am completely available to give your pet the attention they deserve. Additionally, before and after work, I'll make sure to take your pet for walks and shower them with love and care.

- Before I take care of your furry friend, I'd love to learn a little more about them. It would be great to know about their temperament, energy level (are they a little ball of energy or more chill?), their feeding schedule, any medications they might need, and what they love to do for fun. Just some basic info so I can give them the best care possible! Also, if there are any specific rules or important details I should know.
