They sent regular photos/updates, were very communicative, and the house was clean and cared for when we got home. Our spicy cat even warmed up to them eventually! About: Over 20 years as a dog owner. I'm semi-retired. I've been watching friends' and friends of friends' pets for years. I've been the only house/dog sitter for a pair of Dalmatians for the last 5 years. I've handled puppies that are still working on becoming housebroken as well as senior dogs that need regular medication and extra care. I do in-home tech support/ IT work. When a customer's animals have warmed up to me, I've been asked if I did pet sitting as well. It feels good when the pet picks you. My working schedule is very flexible, I'm usuably able to adjust it to make sure I'm available to see to your pet's needs. If I commit to caring for your critters they will be my scheduling priority. I don't have pets in my own home. When house/pet sitting, besides feeding, walking and picking up after the pets I'm capable of handling household issues that might come up.

“Abby saved Arty’s life while she was sitting. He became very seriously ill the second day I was gone. I was on a boat in glacier bay Alaska and could not be reached for 2 days. I had not left a letter authorizing payment to his vets (my bad) and when she called, they refused. So she had the good sense to show up at their door with him in their arms after calling everyone who I listed as support and trying on her own to revive him. (He is diabetic). He had been in ICU for 2 days by the time I got all her messages. The waters parted and I was able to get home the same day. In the meantime, she visited him in ICU and gave him love and encouragement. It turned out that he had a ruptured gall bladder and they removed it along with cleaning out all the granular black debris from his abdominal cavity. He has almost recovered completely now, only one week later. I know he would not be alive if it wasn’t for Abby. Grateful is an understatement! Abby is all that a pet owner could want to look after their beloved fur baby.”

She follow the instructions carefully and was able to follow them and feed all the cats and take good care of Billy and the others. She stayed and played with Billy, which he loved. She maintained the litter robot, which is sometimes a challenge. She kept everything clean and took care of them the day I came home so I didn’t have to worry about them. I’m dedicated to pet’s wellbeing and will ensure that your dog is safe, gets enough exercise and rest. My 16 yo son also loves playing with dogs. We all are looking forward to host your dog in our house (and/or go for walks together). I work from home part-time and I'm available for boarding your dog at my house (also over the Holidays) or for taking your dog for walks (together with mine). I have plenty of space in my house, fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your pooch company. For safety I do not accept very large or uncontrollable dogs.
