“We were so lucky to find Sara for our two-week trip. As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous, but Sara completely put our minds at ease from the very beginning. They were professional, warm, and clearly wonderful with our two dogs. The best part was their communication—we looked forward to their daily photos and updates! It was so reassuring to see our boys happy and well-cared-for. We came home to a tidy house and two very happy dogs. We fully trusted Sara in our home and with our pets, and we will absolutely be booking them for all our future trips. Highly recommend”

“I loved Andrea taking care of my cat Billy and the odd menagerie of feral cats that live at my home. She did an outstanding job. She follow the instructions carefully and was able to follow them and feed all the cats and take good care of Billy and the others. She stayed and played with Billy, which he loved. She maintained the litter robot, which is sometimes a challenge. She kept everything clean and took care of them the day I came home so I didn’t have to worry about them. I highly recommend Andrea, she is very conscientious and pays attention to detail and send pics and is really aware of how special our babies are to us and she is very good with cats. I will use her again when I attend my brother’s wedding soon.”

“Greta was GREAT! Throughout the whole process she has been prompt with communication and oh so pleasant. She clearly developed a caring and affectionate relationship with our dog and she was well cared for during our vacation. She also kept us appraised of their activities with plenty of photos, which clearly showed that Tilly was well cared for and having fun. She also took good care of our home and we returned to a clean and orderly house! Always a plus after vacation. I would recommend Greta without reservation.”

About: I've taken care of larger dogs such as Rotties, German shepherds, and Labs. I've also taken care of smaller dogs and puppies. With the dogs that I've cared for, I've fed them twice a day, provided enrichment, walks, playtime, and lazy time. I have cared for litters before which is super fun, adorable and hectic as expected. At the moment I have an abundance of free time so I am looking to allocate the majority of it toward caring for people's pets. I tend to let the animal dictate the terms. If they want affection and playtime then it's all theirs, but if they desire space I'll let them be. They get food in the morning and evening, with some treats interspersed throughout the day if they've been on good behavior. Dogs are taken out around 4 times per day, more if required (depending on the dog). Cat litter is scooped at the end of a visit/day and dogs are picked up after immediately.
“Rebeca did an amazing job house sitting and caring for our reactive dog, Ginger. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she was patient, attentive, and genuinely cared about Ginger's well-being. Caring for a reactive dog requires extra understanding and compassion, and Rebeca handled everything beautifully. She kept us updated throughout our trip with pictures and the sweetest stories about Ginger's day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. When we returned home, Ginger was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Our house was also in great shape. We are incredibly grateful for the love and attention Rebeca gave to Ginger and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and responsible pet sitter. We will absolutely book with her again!”

“Spencer did an amazing job taking care of our 2 dogs and cat for 4 days while my family and I were out of town. I could tell that he took the time to read through our detailed instructions and he sent lots of pictures and video to reassure us that they were well taken care of while we were away. Also, one of our dogs is very strong and pulls a lot during walks. Spencer is definitely strong enough and experienced enough to walk him which is one of the reasons we hired him. He is also a very good house guest. If it weren't for the pictures and videos he sent, I wouldn't have even known he was there. Thank you Spencer. We will definitely be seeking you out again for pet sitting.”

“Valery was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of Hendrick. During her stay she sent us lots of pictures and videos. She left the house clean! I highly recommend her to house sit.”

“Jessica is so sweet, she connected with Jaspie quickly. Took him to the beach and was sweet to honor my request for beach pics! The pics were amazing! And I can tell by Jaspie's expressions he loves her!! Totally recommend her!”

About: Hello my name is Angelina! I’ve pet sit for cats and dogs in my neighborhood aswell as walked dogs. I also have experience and reviews on wag with sitting and walking. I like to run and can run with dogs. If you need your dog tired out I can make that happen! I’m going to school so I have plenty of free time to board, sit and walk dogs in between. I love walking my dog and playing with her in my free time. I have a fenced back yard with plenty of space to run back and forth in. I have two dogs living at my house but they both can be kept separate if preferred. Also have a cat but he’s never home. My neighborhood is safe with minimal cars and loud noises.
“Oscar was able to accommodate house/dog sitting my two pups pretty last minute but adapted so quickly! One of our dogs can be distrusting but Oscar put in the time to make her comfortable. He sent daily updates and was super responsive. Overall great experience, and will definitely be using Oscar’s services again!”

“Ainsley was an awesome house sitter! She had great communication throughout, and we came home to a clean and tidy house. Most importantly, she took excellent care of our pets. She even took our dog on a special trip to the beach (with our permission), and our cats got plenty of cuddles. Everyone was happy and relaxed when we returned. We would love to have Ainsley back anytime!”

“Sophia was a great pet sitter. She checked in with me regularly and was very prompt. It was much easier to enjoy my recent trip knowing that Sophia was there with my dog, Kota. Kota is an older dog, and Sophia managed her medications and small walks for us. I would, of course, book her again.”

“We are so grateful to have found Meghan! We’re so happy to have received pics and updates. It was obvious that our babies were happy! I’m addition, which she didn’t have to do, cleared our bedding for washing. Thanks Meghan, we look forward to the next time.”

Gabilan Acres pet parents share their Rover experiences
Debbie took great care of my dog, Lucca and my house. When I returned home from a two week European vacation, the house was as if I never left. My dog Lucca almost didn’t recognize me as I was gone so long. I would recommend Debbie to anyone in need of house/dog sitting.

Sarah was a pleasure to work with. She is very kind and caring. She took wonderful care of our pets while we were away. She stayed in constant communication and kept us updated. She was not afraid to ask questions. Sarah always responded quickly and is very trustworthy. We will definitely use her again to watch our babies.
