We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.

About: I’ve grown up around cats my entire life, so caring for them comes very naturally to me. I currently live with four cats, including one of my own, and my sisters have cats as well, so I’m around different cat personalities every day. I’ve cared for cats of different ages and temperaments, from playful kittens to older, more independent cats. I also have experience bottle-feeding young kittens and helping stray cats in need, which has taught me to be patient, gentle, and really attentive to their behavior. I know cats have their own boundaries, some want cuddles and attention right away, while others need their space and time to warm up. I’m completely comfortable letting them come to me when they’re ready. I’m experienced with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, keeping their space tidy, and following their normal routines. I make sure my pets get a healthy balance of play, structure, and rest. With my dog, I focus on plenty of playtime and ongoing training, which helps her burn energy and settle into naps while I work. My cat prefers a calmer routine and spends most of her day relaxing in her own space, but I always make time for snuggles and connection so she feels loved and secure. I’m very attentive to each pet’s needs and energy levels. If a dog becomes tired or overstimulated, I’m happy to crate them for a peaceful reset if that’s part of their routine. For cats, I create a cozy, quiet space where they can feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. There is plenty of room in our house and yard to create separate spaces for pets to have their own areas (for sleep, food, play, etc.) if that is what they prefer. ❤️

Dipanjana was very proactive and thoughtful in preparing us for our first day care visit, letting Maui get familiarized with her dog and home, ahead of our daycare appointment, which I appreciated immensely since my dog has separation anxiety. She is relaxed and easy with communication and with Maui to make him feel at home like letting him sniff around, play with toys, or sit on her lap. She was also very on top of it with any instructions I had for his stay. Her home and neighborhood are also very clean and comfortable. It was so great to see Maui in pic updates and in good spirits when I picked him up and I look forward to another stay in the future soon!”
About: I have had dogs all of my life, all breeds and all ages. We are a family of 6, Mom, Dad, our 12 yr old daughter and our 3 fur babies. We dedicate our time to making them happy and live a full life. We have volunteered to foster puppies through the SPCA and pet sit for family as well. Our home is cozy with a good size backyard. All dogs would sleep indoors and have someone with them at all times since We work from home. We currently work from home so there will always be someone home with your pet. We can go for short or long walks a couple times per day and they have full access to to indoor and outdoor throughout the day. We have a fenced backyard and can separate rooms with baby gates if needed. There’s a doggy door in the garage to the backyard and two separate runners. We have a soon to be 5 yr old German shepherd, a 9 yr old rescue chihuahua and our old man a 10 yr old Shih Tzu. They are spayed/neutered and get along great with other dogs. You will have the option to have your pet sleep in the living room alongside our dogs or in a separate room.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 10 he was older so I had to learn to be patient with him.Now with a newer puppy I had to find ways to train and help him not be so shy around other dogs As a college student I have my weekends open and I stay at school for holidays! During the week I have a lot of time in between class in order to take care of your loving pet! I always make sure to keep an eye on the pets when outside the back yard or just in the house just to make sure they’re okay. During walks when walking pass other dogs I try to walk across the street from other dog or stray off to the side and wait for the dog to pass us.

About: I’ve loved caring for pets for years and have hands-on experience with both dogs and cats. I was the primary caregiver for a family friend’s dog for over a year during COVID and have also looked after my uncle’s dog during multi-week stays. I make sure every dog gets plenty of walks, park time, exercise, and socialization, along with feeding, pee pad changes, and a clean, happy home. I’ve also cared for about five cats over the years and currently have a cat of my own. I know how to keep cats happy, healthy, and comfortable with feeding, litter box care, and plenty of gentle attention. I love spending time with animals, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I am currently attending hartnell college as a full time student and athlete. As every semester changes due to classes, my practice schedule is always consistent. I am unavailable from 12-3 everyday, other than that I am completely available depending on my class schedule! I am available on Saturday all day, Sunday I am available after 10am. When I care for pets in a clients home, I like to treat their space and the pets as if it’s my own. I follow each pets routine closely, I make sure feeding is on time, fresh water is provided, and giving a lot of affection. For dogs I make sure to take daily walks, visit parks or local areas for exercise and socialization if that’s what the dog feels comfortable with, and to make sure they get a good amount of stimulation and play time. For cats I maintain litter boxes, cozy and warm resting spots, and prioritize spending quality time playing or even just keeping them company so they’re not alone. I also keep the home clean and organized, tidy up any messes, and make sure the environment stays safe and comfortable for the pets. My goal is always to help pets feel happy, relaxed, and loved while their owners are away.

My mom has been fostering dogs ( Shamrock Pet Foundation in Louisville) since I was a baby, so I literally grew up surrounded by dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. About: I’ve owned dogs for over 10 years and currently have 3 of my own. Over the years I’ve become experienced in caring for dogs with special needs. I love that I can be that voice for them. I currently work Sun-Wed but available if you need a weekend off or you even just need a day to run errands. I’ll be glad to take care of your pet. I have a fenced yard as well as crates if needed. I do have 3 other dogs that just chill all day which one has special needs. There is also an influx of toys that they can choose from.

I am currently a full time graduate student which consists of a pretty busy schedule during the week but leaves the weekends very open. We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.
