I have Dog Training experience for 6 years so I know how to help work with your dog on enforcing positive basic commands and help prevent unwanted behavior including anxiety.

I believe consistency helps dogs feel comfortable, especially when they’re away from home, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages during their stay. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and organized home where every pet receives individual attention. Before each stay, I take time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide the best possible care. Since I don’t have a fenced yard, every walk and potty break is supervised, and I never leave pets outside unattended. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay so you always know how they’re doing.

I also have a gentle, friendly puppy who enjoys the company of other dogs and can help provide social interaction if your dog is comfortable with that. My puppy is crate trained, and I am fully comfortable following your preferences when it comes to crate training, including crating your dog if that is part of their normal routine or what you prefer. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to respect your space and maintain your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding on schedule, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or potty breaks, and any specific instructions you provide. I also focus on keeping your pet calm and comfortable by giving them attention, companionship, and a familiar routine, especially for pets with anxiety or who are shy. My goal is to create a safe, stress free environment whether your pet is staying with me or I am caring for them in your home.

“Charity and her husband, Jeff, took great care of our dog! Our dog is suffering from a progressive disease that has affected his hind legs. He is only able to stand with the use of his dog wheels. He also requires oral medication twice a day. I had contacted Charity last minute after an unsuccessful overnight stay at a kennel. About: I absolutely love animals and have been taking care of pets since i was about 10 years old! I have experience with all types of dogs, from seniors to young puppies through working with rescues and I have had over 10 foster dogs who I have helped to find homes. I have also aided in training for rescue dogs of all different backgrounds, including issues with separation, anxiety, crate, potty, and obedience training. Outside of the rescue I also have regular pet sitting clients whose pups I have watched for over 5 years and absolutely love! I have reliable transportation and love to spend time petting, playing, and just lounging around with any animal. I am able to care for pets in their home however needed! I have experience with a variety of medical needs and activity levels, and can do frequent visits, park outings, or stay in your home if that’s what you and your pet are most comfortable with.

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up I had two Lhasa Apso pups and two cats so caring for pets has been a big part of my life. As they got older, I helped give them their medications and make them feel comfortable. Over the years, my family has added three pups - two Toy Poodles and one Shih Tzu, who I have helped raised since they were puppies. I also have two of my own: an Australian Shepherd and a Bernese Mountain Dog, both whom I have raised since they were 8 weeks old. Through them, I have lots of experience in puppy training and recognizing that each pup is unique and has different needs. I also have experience caring for cats. My childhood cat developed health issues in her senior years, and I helped care for her through monthly vet visits and multiple medications, giving me first hand experience with the extra patience and attention senior cats need. My family also added a friendly tuxedo kitten to the bunch and my boyfriend has a shy cat as well. So I am comfortable caring for cats with outgoing or more reserved feline personalities.
