About: As a dog mom of two, I understand how stressful it can be to entrust your pet's care to someone else. Please know I am happy to follow detailed instructions or just shower your pet with love at potty breaks. I trained my two from puppyhood and have given them minor grooming services (brushing, bathing, ear cleaning). I am patient and willing to build trust with your beloved pet. I am taking a break from the professional world and pursuing my CPA remotely. Caring for your pets will allow me to step away from the desk and have some fun. I provide constant supervision when pets are outdoors for safety. We do not have small children in the home, so the chances of chewing plastics is low. My dogs are crate trained in the event your pets needs a break or time to warm up to the new spaces.

About: I’ve always lived with many cats and dogs my whole life. I’ve had a variety of pets of all ages including rabbits, snakes, bearded dragons, hamsters. I’ve also fostered many kittens and puppies and I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats, the majority rescues. I’m a huge animal lover! I am mostly a stay at home mom with 4 pets. We take the dogs on daily walks and sometimes to the park. We are always spending time outdoors in our spacious back yard with our dogs running around and cats climbing trees and roofs and such! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats both very friendly if spending time together! I also have a fenced in yard with a garden. I have a separate indoor petroom stocked with a couple crates (if needed for my big dog), enclosed cat litter boxes, a large cat climbing tree, plenty of pet food and treats, many water bowls and toys for all! And a very family friendly neighborhood for walks and a spacious (not fenced) park as well.

About: Hi! I’m Jerrica, a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with 10 years of experience in the veterinary medical field and a lifelong love for animals. 🐾 My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away by caring for your pets like they’re part of my own family. With my veterinary background, I’m comfortable recognizing when something seems “off,” caring for pets with a variety of needs, and making sure every pet in my care is safe, comfortable, and happy. Pet sitting with me is about more than meals, potty breaks, and a cozy place to sleep! I incorporate mental enrichment, playtime, exercise, affection, and plenty of one-on-one attention based on your pet’s individual personality and routine. Whether they love toys and games, exploring outside, snuggling on the couch, or just having someone nearby, I want their stay to feel like a fun little vacation of their own. 🐶🐱❤️ When your pet stays with me, they’re treated like family—because that’s exactly how I’d want someone to care for mine. Pet care isn’t something I have to squeeze into my schedule—it is my schedule! 🐾 As a full-time pet sitter, my days are centered around the pets in my care, allowing me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and enrichment throughout the day. I keep my schedule flexible so I can accommodate each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including meals, potty breaks, walks, medications, play sessions, and plenty of cuddle time. Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, my goal is to keep them safe, comfortable, active, and feeling like part of the family! 🐾❤️ For pets staying with me, I have a fully fenced backyard for supervised play and potty breaks, and I also offer leash walks for exercise and enrichment. For dogs who enjoy a little adventure and have their owner’s permission, I can provide transportation to local dog parks for some extra exercise and fun. My home also includes my friendly little Corgi, Cheesecake, along with my two school-aged kids, so pets who enjoy children and other dogs have plenty of opportunities for companionship, playtime, and attention. Of course, I tailor each stay to the individual pet—quieter guests are given their own space and downtime, while our social butterflies can join in on the fun! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, playtime, enrichment, and lots of affection. No matter which service you choose, I want your pet to receive the same kind of attentive, loving care I’d want for my own. 🐶🐱

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up I had two Lhasa Apso pups and two cats so caring for pets has been a big part of my life. As they got older, I helped give them their medications and make them feel comfortable. Over the years, my family has added three pups - two Toy Poodles and one Shih Tzu, who I have helped raised since they were puppies. I also have two of my own: an Australian Shepherd and a Bernese Mountain Dog, both whom I have raised since they were 8 weeks old. Through them, I have lots of experience in puppy training and recognizing that each pup is unique and has different needs. I also have experience caring for cats. My childhood cat developed health issues in her senior years, and I helped care for her through monthly vet visits and multiple medications, giving me first hand experience with the extra patience and attention senior cats need. My family also added a friendly tuxedo kitten to the bunch and my boyfriend has a shy cat as well. So I am comfortable caring for cats with outgoing or more reserved feline personalities. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they're in my care. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or a senior needing extra patience, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I have plenty of time to look after your pup or feline! While I prefer to watch your pet between 8-5 so I can also spend time with my own pets, I understand there are times after work or on the weekends when you need to leave your furry friend to go and enjoy yourself without feeling guilty leaving them behind. In these cases, I can absolutely make exceptions. Every pet has their own routine, preferences, and unique needs so I will take the time to follow your care instructions closely. Whether that's sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medications, or going on walks, I will make sure your pet's routine stays as consistent as possible. My goal is to help your pet feel safe and give you peace of mind knowing your pet is cared for and loved while you're away. I'll care for them the way you ask while also treating them with the same affection and attention I give my own pets. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family, so I will do everything to care for them!

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I currently have an 5 month old puppy of my own. Through both personal experience and daily care, I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, large breeds, and households with multiple dogs. I’m comfortable maintaining feeding schedules, providing exercise and enrichment, reinforcing basic training, administering oral medications, and adapting to each dog’s individual needs. I also have experience caring for high energy dogs and dogs with separation anxiety, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. Whether I’m providing boarding, drop-in visits, or walks, I treat every dog like family and prioritize their safety, happiness, and routine so both pets and owners can feel at ease. I work part time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide your pets with the care, attention, and companionship they deserve. I am available all day on Mondays and Wednesdays, after 6 PM on Tuesdays, before 4 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and after 5 PM on Sundays. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, or simply some extra love and attention while you’re away, I am committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for dogs to safely play, run, and get their energy out. I also have a gentle, friendly puppy who enjoys the company of other dogs and can help provide social interaction if your dog is comfortable with that. My puppy is crate trained, and I am fully comfortable following your preferences when it comes to crate training, including crating your dog if that is part of their normal routine or what you prefer. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to respect your space and maintain your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding on schedule, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or potty breaks, and any specific instructions you provide. I also focus on keeping your pet calm and comfortable by giving them attention, companionship, and a familiar routine, especially for pets with anxiety or who are shy. My goal is to create a safe, stress free environment whether your pet is staying with me or I am caring for them in your home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
