About: I absolutely love animals and have been taking care of pets since i was about 10 years old! I have experience with all types of dogs, from seniors to young puppies through working with rescues and I have had over 10 foster dogs who I have helped to find homes. I have also aided in training for rescue dogs of all different backgrounds, including issues with separation, anxiety, crate, potty, and obedience training. Outside of the rescue I also have regular pet sitting clients whose pups I have watched for over 5 years and absolutely love! I also have volunteered with Cats Angels in Fernandina Beach and have experience fostering litters of kittens and stray cats. I am back on Amelia Island for the summer but during the school year I attend Florida State University where I am actively involved in the dog rescue Champ’s Chance and it has taught me so much about working with all types and personalities of pups! I am currently working part time and my only set hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am to 12pm, outside of those hours my time is free to be spent with your pets! I am very active and love to go for walks or runs if that is something your pup would like to join me in (usually in the early morning or evenings to avoid that Florida heat!). I have reliable transportation and love to spend time petting, playing, and just lounging around with any animal. I am able to care for pets in their home however needed! I have experience with a variety of medical needs and activity levels, and can do frequent visits, park outings, or stay in your home if that’s what you and your pet are most comfortable with.

About: My dogs and I have been through AKC certified obedience training I'm experienced in walking multiple dogs at a time Can housesit and care for dogs with special needs Providing positive reinforcement and tasty bribes is my main method of gaining trust with a new dog friend. I'm open to meeting and discussing all forms of service ahead of time I have a flexible part time job that is generally from 9 - 4 Monday through Friday. These times are flexible so if you have a question about a particular day feel free to ask My 2 dogs and I walk almost everyday around our neighborhood just to get some adventure and smell some new fire hydrants. My house has a wood 6' privacy fence around the backyard and I have time to them out 5 or 6 times a day for bathroom breaks or to just run around an play. My dogs started being crate trained as a puppy but as they have grown older and more trusty we use them less and less. I use a lot of positive reinforcement and treat training to bond and build rapport. I feel comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes and would prefer to take care of new dogs in their home environment first. My dogs: I have a 6 year old 60lb female Portuguese water dog -- She's a big napper, cuddler and loves cats. My 3 year old, 30lb, male terrier mix is the feisty play pal that keeps everyone entertained.

About: I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals and I’ve never not had a dog! I currently have a 6 year old golden doodle named Ruby that is my pride and joy. I work part time as a nurse, but when I’m not at work I’m hanging out with ruby- which is a lot more enjoyable. My husband, Thomas, works from home and has been my dog-sitting partner in crime! Between the two of us, our furry visitors are rarely lonely. We provide lots of pets, play time, walks, and cuddles. We have a yard, large dog crates if needed, doggie swimming pool, and lots of furniture for the four legged friends to sit on! I work 1-2 days a week and have full availability the other days. Unfortunately, these days change every week, but I usually have my schedule for a month in advance. I live in a house on a couple acres that is surrounded by trees, so there are lots of little critters to look at from the front porch! my dog and i spend a lot of time outdoors, whether we are going to the beach or on walks.

I also have a Golden Retriever of my own and personally use Rover for my own dog, so I truly understand the importance of trust, communication, and peace of mind when leaving your pet in someone else’s care. No instructions or routines are ever “too much” for me because I know every dog is different and what works for one may not work for another. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while also making you feel confident while you’re away. I do require a meet and greet prior to booking so I can better understand your dog’s routine, personality, and needs while also making sure we’re a great fit for each other. I believe communication and consistency are extremely important when caring for someone’s pet. My partner and I provide care together, which allows for added flexibility and availability. My partner stays home full time while I work, and on weekends, holidays, and after 5 PM, both of us are available to help care for the dogs. We do ask that meet and greets include both of us so we can fully understand your expectations and ensure your dog is comfortable with everyone involved in their care. I work weekly but I am off on weekends and holidays. I am home by 3PM from work and come home during my lunch. I leave for work at 7:30am. I have a fenced in backyard and a friendly golden retriever. I live in a neighborhood that is great for long walks and there is a dog park nearby and many open fields.

About: Hi, I’m Madison and I’m 24 years old. I’ve had pets my entire life, so I’m used to potty breaks, dog walking, feisty kitties, playing with pets, cleaning up after them, keeping them entertained, and everything else to do with the everyday tasks of caring for and dealing with pets. I’m a hard worker, have a very flexible schedule, and love all types of animals, especially dogs and cats. I’m currently taking a veterinary assistant course at college, and aim to start a career working with animals. There have been multiple times I’ve found dogs roaming in my neighborhood and helped return them to their owner. I’ve even helped a stray kitten find a good home! I’m very passionate about animals and will show yours all the love, attention, and care it deserves. Me and my boyfriend have one dog that we take care of as if he was our own child, so my daily pet care routine is pretty generous. Of course our dog is fed twice a day, walked daily, and given a lot of love. And aside from my boyfriend, I have two other roommates who also have dogs, so there’s always some puppy playtime happening If I were to care for another dog in my home, I’d definitely be paying attention to the dog’s behavior to see how comfortable he is in the new environment, and with meeting the dogs in my house. If he were not comfortable, or if the dogs were to not get along, I’d of course separate them. I’d most likely hang out with the dog in our spare bedroom to make him more comfortable. On the other hand, if I were to care for a dog in his home, I’d try to follow his every day routine as best as I could to make him as comfortable and happy as possible

About: My family has always had an assortment of different pets. We currently have 3 cats, so I have lots of experience caring for animals. I have pet sat for multiple family friends and neighbors over the years. I do have experience administering medication to both cats and dogs. I just graduated from Mercer University with a biology degree. I am currently working for Rover full time so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate anything you may need! About: I am originally from Germany and been around dogs most of my life. If you are back in the office or just gone away from home and in need of someone to walk your pets during the day, let them outside or just play and cuddle with them I am the right person. I have a Belgium Malinois Mix , her name is Brandy and a rescue pit bull name Stanley. Due to Brandy I am very experienced with high energy dogs. Stanley is more mellow and just likes kisses and hugs all day, but that's fine, too !! Your fur baby will be in good hands with me either way. My dogs are part of my family and I even cook for them, I do admit both are very spoiled fur babies. I am looking forward meeting you and your pup(s) because they will be spoiled by me, too. About: I have taken care of special need dogs, bottle feed litters, elder dogs, and medicated dogs. I am available for all of the above. I also provide walks and cuddles!
