“Kelly took great care of our 3 1/2 year old whippet while we were on a 3+ week international trip. He was recovering from an injury that had required stitches and Kelly was wonderful in making sure he had the appropriate activity level and administering his medication until he was completely well. Kelly was always accessible & responsive to texts, etc., & she provided us with much appreciated photos & videos of our boy while we were gone. Her property has plenty of room for exercise & play which is wonderful for all dogs, including a very active whippet. Knowing that our dog was being well taken care of in a home environment allowed us to have a vacation where we didn't have to worry that he was safe and loved. It was a wonderful gift from Kelly!”

About: My dogs and I have been through AKC certified obedience training I'm experienced in walking multiple dogs at a time Can housesit and care for dogs with special needs Providing positive reinforcement and tasty bribes is my main method of gaining trust with a new dog friend. I'm open to meeting and discussing all forms of service ahead of time I have a flexible part time job that is generally from 9 - 4 Monday through Friday. These times are flexible so if you have a question about a particular day feel free to ask My 2 dogs and I walk almost everyday around our neighborhood just to get some adventure and smell some new fire hydrants. My house has a wood 6' privacy fence around the backyard and I have time to them out 5 or 6 times a day for bathroom breaks or to just run around an play. My dogs started being crate trained as a puppy but as they have grown older and more trusty we use them less and less. I use a lot of positive reinforcement and treat training to bond and build rapport. I feel comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes and would prefer to take care of new dogs in their home environment first. My dogs: I have a 6 year old 60lb female Portuguese water dog -- She's a big napper, cuddler and loves cats. My 3 year old, 30lb, male terrier mix is the feisty play pal that keeps everyone entertained.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a child. I always felt if you love animals then you should help be their voice and make sure they are taken care of. My schedule is flexible because pet care is what I do! 🐾 I’m able to build my day around the needs of the pets in my care, whether that means morning visits, midday walks, evening drop-ins, or overnight stays. About: I’ve always lived with many cats and dogs my whole life. I’ve had a variety of pets of all ages including rabbits, snakes, bearded dragons, hamsters. I’ve also fostered many kittens and puppies and I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats, the majority rescues. I’m a huge animal lover! I am mostly a stay at home mom with 4 pets. We take the dogs on daily walks and sometimes to the park. We are always spending time outdoors in our spacious back yard with our dogs running around and cats climbing trees and roofs and such! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats both very friendly if spending time together! I also have a fenced in yard with a garden. I have a separate indoor petroom stocked with a couple crates (if needed for my big dog), enclosed cat litter boxes, a large cat climbing tree, plenty of pet food and treats, many water bowls and toys for all! And a very family friendly neighborhood for walks and a spacious (not fenced) park as well.

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up I had two Lhasa Apso pups and two cats so caring for pets has been a big part of my life. As they got older, I helped give them their medications and make them feel comfortable. Over the years, my family has added three pups - two Toy Poodles and one Shih Tzu, who I have helped raised since they were puppies. I also have two of my own: an Australian Shepherd and a Bernese Mountain Dog, both whom I have raised since they were 8 weeks old. She set up a Google "Meet" and greet. Where she explained her setup & approach. She has two dogs and looks for 2 dogs that match well with hers. She was already boarding a young dog & was looking for an smaller older dog so she was excited to get my request. So I was fortunate not only for Desmond to play outside in a fenced in yard but it was also a great chance for him to be "one of the gang." And then when he needed a break to know that there are people near to sit by. I would recommend if you find Megan has an opening to take the opportunity and board your dog with her!”

I love having dogs stay with me and want them to feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away! ALL dogs get plenty of attention, walks, and lots of playtime in my fully fenced yard. I have plenty of toys and treats, and they’re welcome on the furniture and encouraged to make themselves at home. Each dog will also have their own dedicated doggie bedroom to sleep and relax in. I keep crate time to a minimum, so they’ll spend most of their time out with me playing, on a walk, hanging out with or without my resident dogs, or getting some rest. Your dog doesn’t have to be dog-friendly to stay with me. If they’d rather play with me, have their own space, or do their own thing, that’s completely fine! I’m happy to give each dog the kind of attention they’re most comfortable with. For everyone’s safety, dogs must be housebroken, crate trained, flea-free, and comfortable around people. I treat every dog like they’re part of the family and will make sure they get lots of love and attention while they’re here!
