About: As a registered nurse I cannot commit to being a doggy parent yet, but I sure do love helping other families and their pets. While having strong integrity, I believe my ability to meet animals where they are and respect their quirks makes me an ideal pet sitter. I see that every animal is an individual and would love to adhere to a routine that you set out for them. I am currently taking a short break from nursing and enjoying exploring San Diego. I have open availability until mid-September. Beyond that, I would love to fit pet sitting into my routine and will see if I am able to accomodate that with a new schedule. I typically work 3 12 hrs shift so that does leave some days open. I try to always adhere to the pet's routine and love learning likes and dislikes. I have worked in other's homes before as a home-based therapeutic worker with children and have also done tons of babysitting. I am always easily accessible and leave places better than I find them.

About: I have lived with or cared for animals my whole life ranging from 10 week old puppies to dogs at the end of their journey. In the last 7 years, I have done pet sitting for families with 3 dogs and 3 cats, new puppies who are still potty training, dogs who have needed medication administered, can’t be around other animals, are high energy or slow to warm up, and more! I do not have any pets of my own at the moment (unless you count my best friend’s dog that is my favorite living thing on the earth), so I love spending time with other pets! I’ve lived in San Diego for a little over a year and am constantly exploring new places to go on long walks and parks to spend time in. Whether I’m watching your dog for an extended period of time, taking them on a walk, or stopping in for a day visit, we’ll have a blast together. When working with me, you can expect excellent communication along with plenty of cute photo updates. My goal is to make sure you and your pup have an anxiety-free experience. Feel free to message me with any questions. I’m excited to meet you and spend time with your pup! I work from home full time so I’m able to be flexible throughout the day with walking or checking in at various times. And for when I’m staying with your dog, you don’t have to worry about me going into an office for long periods of time. I’ll always coordinate in advance to ensure I’m able to give your pup exactly the amount of attention they need. I don’t currently offer pet stays in my own home, so I’m able to keep your pets as comfortable as possible. Feel free to let me know if there are any hazards or things to be aware of in your own home. I will never bring other animals or people into your home unless discussed in advance. While on walks or outside of the home, I default to keeping to ourselves. If there’s a dog on the street or coming close, we’ll calmly cross the street to avoid interaction. They’ll never be off leash in unfenced areas and will not be taken to dog parks unless talked about before the visit. You know your pet best, so let’s chat to give them exactly what they need!
