We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”

About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog. I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!

About: I am very experienced in pet sitting dogs, cats, hamsters, and guinea pigs in their own homes. I have been pet sitting for 19 years. I no longer accept animals with resource guarding issues, as I have experienced safety concerns. I am a full-time online graduate student and work while in school. Working on schoolwork from home allows me the flexibility to visit pet households and create a routine if needed. I only watch animals in their own homes for their best interest/comfort. I find that most animals prefer being in their own homes while their owners are away.

About: I grew up with dogs, from Shihtzus to Boxers, and kitties from short hair Tabby to long hair Siamese. I always say yes to watching my friends animals when they go on trips as I don’t have a fur baby of my own yet. They all deserve the most love and attention and I want you to feel safe that I would treat your pet as my own. I am in the process of retiring from the military so hanging out with animals is just the boost of seratonin I love! A must is sending you regular updates and photos to keep you in the loop! I retired from the Navy January 1st of this year so my schedule is super flexible! I have class Tuesday and Thursday mornings but that’s my only solid commitment at the moment. If your animal needs to be crated that is doable, as well as letting them roam free in the house or to come for adventures along my side.

“We’ve never left our dog Chai with anyone other than family and we’re a bit hesitant about leaving her for a few days. When dropping Chai off, Brittany instantly made us feel so comfortable and reassured us that our dog would be just fine. Chai took a liking to Brittany very quickly. Brittany was so good at keeping us updated throughout the day with pictures and a quick update with how Chai was doing and what they had been up too. They went on walks at least twice a day and cuddled (Chai’s favorite). When it was time to pick Chai up we could tell Brittany and Chai had bonded. We are pleased to have met Brittany and highly recommend her to anyone who is in the San Diego area or coming from out of town like us and needing someone who is truly trusting and felt like we were leaving our Chai with family. About: I currently have the privilege of having two senior dogs that have been in my care for 13 years. I am aware of the patience, love and commitment it takes, having and caring for a pet that solely relies on you. I am comfortable administering medications and dealing with food modifications. I have also helped foster in the past. I am home during the day, with light serving shift 3 times a week at night. Long or short walks are available, as well as playtime, boarding and overnight care. My home is your pets home! I love my neighborhood. While I do not have direct access to a back yard, I am super close to multiple dog parks and live in a very walkable neighborhood.
