“Jacob is amazing! Very thorough notes and took some amazing photos of my cats. He even got my shy cat out to play. Getting notes and pics from Jacob was a highlight of my day while I was away and it's great to know my cats are receiving excellent care and play time.”

“Melina is WONDERFUL! She came in 3 days this week and each day did an INCREDIBLE JOB! She keeps me and my boyfriend super up to date with communication, videos, and pictures ❤️ If I have any questions, Melina responds immediately. And she follows any requests for Ivy (our pup) closely. Looking forward to having Melina come back to watch Ivy soon☺️”

“Shanley is absolutely amazing—a true cat whisperer! This was the second time she cared for our cat, and we’ll definitely be booking with her anytime we’re away in the future. From the moment we met, I felt completely comfortable trusting her with both our cat and our home. She was always punctual, left thoughtful and detailed visit notes, and shared the best photos. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Hannah is legitimately a dog whisperer. My pitbull is fearful and reactive toward people, but within a few minutes of their first meeting, Hannah had Maisie taking treats from her hand and playing fetch. Once she started playing fetch with Maisie, my dog completely ignored me and kept bringing the ball back to Hannah instead of me. Maisie has never done that with other people. I've had Hannah come to the house 3x and it's been great every time. Maisie loves her. Hannah is really easy to communicate with, is always on time and has great ideas about how to work with my dogs. I trust her and her instincts completely.”

“Zsa Zsa was so warm and caring and was responsive under a short turnaround time, as well as was able to extend the booking under short notice. Would definitely book again. Thank you so much, Zsa Zsa!”

“Cameron was wonderful with our cats Wally and Oreo. He sent fun photos everyday and even our shy cat seemed comfy with him. It’s nice to go out of town and know everyone will be taken care of.”

About: Hi, I'm Sofia. One of my goals in life is to give my dog (ESA) the best life. That means providing enrichment through sniff-walks, exploring new parks, and introducing him to furry pals. We go almost everywhere together, wherever he is allowed - camping, hiking, run clubs. I've used Rover in the past to find dog sitters for my dog, and they have all provided top-notch service. Now, I find myself in a new apartment that is dog friendly and want to host other small, well-mannered, dog and apt-friendly dogs. My dog has some leash reactivity, we are working on it (he was a rescue), but he is super chill once they have been properly introduced in a neutral place. He loves cuddling with his pals, he has predominantly stayed with sitters that have other dogs and it has gone really well. Rest assure, when your furry friend stays with us, we will take him in as one of our furry pals. We do not have a yard, just a small front porch, where my dog loves sunbathing. We have a private entrance. As such, we go on at least 3 walks a day for potty breaks. A good fit would be furry friend that: 1. Gets along with my dog 2. Is potty trained 3. Is up-to-date with vaccinations (e.g. rabies) 4. Is not destructive of property 5. Can stay alone (with my dog) for several hours 6. Is on flea and tick preventative I work from home on Fridays, and can take care of your dog starting at 4pm. Just be sure to pack their favorite stuff and food for drop off at my place. Pick up and drop off time can be flexible I prefer to take care of my furry clients at home. Where i can also have my dog be a friendly companion to your furry friend and we know the neighborhood and the best spots to go on walks.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, etc. for my neighbors and friends since I was 10 years old. I have taken care of newborn animals and senior animals. I’m currently home for the summer, so I am fully free! I can pop by your house, go on walks, or keep your pet company at home. I will make sure that your pet feels comfortable with me in their home and spend time playing with them or simply keeping them company. I will also love to go on long walks with your dog if requested!

About: I'm an Oakland-based designer who's always happy to open my home to more furry friends! I have extensive experience in animal care, including working for a local vet as well as in the Live Animal Center at Boston's Museum of Science. I am comfortable with a variety of animals and understand that each and every pet has their own specific needs. I have raised several rescue dogs & cats and understand the challenges that often come with these transitions. I have been working as a part-time dog walker & cat sitter for the past three years and have worked with extremely skittish dogs, as well as those with aggression issues. All dogs and all pets will find a welcoming home with me. I work primarily from home during the week and have a flexible schedule. I primarily work from home with a flexible work schedule. I am happy to work with you to build the schedule that best fits your needs. I will adhere to your pet's typical routine (feeding schedule, medication administration, exercise & playtime routines) to help them feel as comfortable as possible while they are in my care.

About: We focus a lot on mutual respect & communications, and believe these are key factors to any positive relationships. Kindly double check your itinerary/plans and contact us when actually ready meet & greet. Thank you. My husband & I are semiretired professionals who have been raised with pets our entire lives. We are proud to say that we’re experienced, detail oriented, and extremely responsible animal lovers who believe pets are our kids……so much so that our vets said we are one of the best pet owners they’ve encountered and love to be our “kids” in their next lives. 🤣 We are not a typical kennel or boarding club, we focus on attentive quality care, love, mutual respect & positive energy over anything else. As loving pet parents, we understand it’s a huge decision when you have to leave your fur babies in strangers' hands. Rest assured we hold up to our words, we’ll love and care for them just like our own! Our goal is to always put ourselves in your shoes and their paws😆 and provide the best-pampered care for your babies and peace of mind while you’re away. We are perfect for babies with separation anxiety as we are home 24/7. Your fur baby will NEVER be left alone & treated like a number! His/Her safety and comfort are our TOP priorities when staying with us. We promise 😊 We are generally quite flexible with drop off and pick up time. Communication and mutual respect are key factors. Please note daycare is limited to 9 hours only, Our yard is securely fenced, with ample green lawn and play area. There are plenty of outdoor opportunities with not cameras, but actual IN PERSON supervised playtime at ALL TIME to keep your little ones active & happy. The interior is padded with floor mats for comfort, slip & fall prevention (great for senior pups). We also have a separate ground floor guest quarter that’s perfect for cats, rabbits and hamsters who do not wish to interact with dogs as we do have the sweetest senior Shih Tzu rescue, Augustina🐶. She likes all new friends but minds her own business most of the time. Given that said, your babies must be human friendly.😅

About: Hi! We are two animal lovers who have had pets of all kinds throughout our lives. Chrystal has raised dogs, cats, fish, iguanas, guinea pigs, and other small furry creatures. Daniel was raised on many acres with many furry and farm animals as pets. Our family consists of ourselves, 2 kids, and 2 adorable cats. Our sweet, large goof of a dog recently passed and we miss him dearly. We both work from home with a flexible schedule, so have plenty of opportunity to support your family's needs. We both have years of experience dog and cat sitting. We are comfortable and experienced with all breeds and ages and can provide medication as needed. Daniel is also uniquely skilled with larger dogs who need extra support, confidence, or attention when walking or near others. If your pet is not comfortable with kids and/or cats we can easily accommodate with scheduling and separation. Reach out with any questions and we look forward to meeting your furry family! We work from home with a flexible schedule and so can easily schedule time away during the day. One of us is available evenings as well. In the winter months we are away for the weekend, so only available weekdays (Sun eve - Fri midday) We like to know from you what makes your pet the most comfortable in their space. Any guidance is appreciated! We leave a space cleaner than we found it and are natural organizers. If you are traveling, We are particularly thoughtful about how you'd like to leave the house with lights on\off, etc.

“my name for Michael is "the cat man." I have two very different natured feral cats and Michael took the task on easily. One outdoors one indoors, he kept both fat and happy. Will use again and again! Thank you, Michael.”

As someone who loves to travel but has a pet of my own, I know it’s important to find a pet sitter you can trust! Sofia A.
“Sofia is an incredible dog parent. She is attentive, caring, and very knowledgeable. From her, I learned the importance of keeping an eye out for foxtail during walks as they pose a danger to pets. Her dog, Jack, has flourished under her care. He is now more easily trusting of people and is no longer as reactive on-leash. I'd highly recommend Sofia as a pet-sitter or walker any day.”

Highly recommend working with her!”
