About: The answer is simple. I concentrate only on safety and love. While I include other things such as watering your plants, bringing in your mail, cleaning your baseboards (I love to clean) and taking out your trash my primary focus is your pet(s). Integrity is a core value of mine and I pride myself on providing quality service that meets your specific needs. I have roughly 25 years experience guiding and tagging along with the furry ones. From being taught how to groom a prized poodle by my grandmother (who had a poodle grooming business for 35 years) to mucking stalls in the equestrian field to taking bunny rabbits on bike rides! Iv'e gained valuable knowledge as a vet tech that shows in the level of care and attention I provide. I have full availability for house/pet sitting in Moab and the surrounding area. I have a welcoming and comfortable home that is the perfect getaway for your furry loved one to hang while you enjoy the National Parks for the day or the whole weekend! Lots and lots of snuggles with very long drawn out conversations about life while makings sure that play is our number one priority! I also have full awareness that they become stressed with strangers and make sure to take the time to make them feel at ease as I feel going the extra mile to ensure their comfort makes all the difference. I treat your loved one exactly as I would my own. I will do all that I can to ensure your sweet one has the attention and love they deserve and need!

“The first thing I noticed about Sylvia when we met at the dog park was how attentive she was towards the dogs that were in her care that day. I knew then that Tipster would be in great hands. Sylvia went the extra mile, taking Tipster out on small hikes instead of the simple walks around my home, giving her the the exercise and stimulation that she is accustomed to with me. Highly recommend.”

About: Updated March 2025 Please Note: Rover is not the only source of my clientele, therefore I do book in advance! Thank you for your understanding. _______________________ Hello & thank you for being here. My name is Aubrey and I have been in the animal care profession and rescue world, for 18+ years. My background consists of feline care at a rural Humane Society, doggy daycare in a major city, minor ranch (farm) work, caring for neonatal kittens, veterinary medicine in general practice for 7.5+ years and all the while, I have been involved with a number of rescue groups and served as a foster home, for many. I had a flourishing petsitting business in Ohio, for 11+ years, and made a cross-country move, only 2 yrs ago. I do travel from UT - OH for clients, whose animals I have watched for generations. I offer exceptional care in terms of behavioral, medical and other special needs care. I have performed everything from drop-in visits at hotels, destination wedding animal care, to 3+ week long stays for full-coverage house, farm & petsitting needs. I have enjoyed developing relationships with veterinary hospital patients, pet sitting clients, rescue groups and other animal lovers. Every animal under my care, becomes a part of my family. Therefore, if building a relationship with your furbaby caretaker is a must, I'm your gal. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes, cats, ferrets, rabbits, horses, rats, and the cold-blooded. I showed Golden retrievers & Netherland dwarf rabbits as a youth, and grew up with horses. I have experience with medication administration of all kinds, including compounds, pills, insulin and allergy injections. Compresses and wound cleaning, are also comfortable treatments for me. I can administer SubQ fluids to ill or elderly patients, and have experience with tube feeding as well, with my regular neonatal kitten care. *Due to rural living, I must ensure my time is valued, as longer distance driving has become more relevant, client's travel/vacation plans change often, etc. *I am happy to discuss pricing, availability, care details, etc. Please feel free to reach out, as I am happy to work with you and your pet's needs. A Little About My Family: Our home consists of An 8 year old Australian Cattle Dog Mix, foster-fail A 6 year old goofball of energy bully mix, whom we found in the trash Our newest addition, a 1.5 year old cattle dog mix, who was an owner surrender & a cat that came with our previous house. I lost a 16 year old mixed breed and 11 year old kitty, in the last three years, who were the light of our life. Myself, my partner, three dogs and a cat enjoy an active, outdoor lifestyle. We love exploring and traveling, whenever we can! I volunteer a high percentage of my time, performing TNR (cats), at spay & neuter clinics in Navajo Nation, in the four corners area and foster when I can. Please Note* I am very insistent on vaccinations, spay/neuter, flea/tick preventatives and scheduled meet & greets (via phone or in-person), prior to any booking. Please feel free to ask any questions! What you can expect, when booking with me: If you are seeking in-your-home animal care, I am 100% at your disposal of what your pet(s) need. Walk schedule, driven to grooming or vet appointments, medication administration, etc. I spend the night with them & it is truly 24/7 care. If you choose for your pet(s) to stay with me, in my home: Our schedule varies from a low-energy day indoors (as I work from home) with a fenced in yard, pups who like to play, etc., to camping (in a temperature controlled camper) off-grid with daily hikes and the great outdoors. What your pet's needs are and what you're open to, as an owner, is how I proceed with bookings. My schedule is flexible, but rural living (& scenic playing) requires planning in advance, driving, etc. I am not a dog walker but I can work with you, should you require this service. *please see more in my details/experience section. I try to limit accepting clients into my home, as I run a busy household, not suitable for all. Therefore, I prefer to care for your pets in the comfort and safety of their (your) home. I prefer to set up a meet and greet with you, to meet your fur baby(s) and discuss their daily routine, feeding and/or medication schedules. This will ensure they are stress-free and comfortable in their home environment. *I understand travelers may have limited flexibility here. *please see more in my details/experience section.

About: I have a way with dogs and will happily escort your pup on walks, hikes and can board them in my home which is dog friendly with a large back yard for play. I've lived in Moab and roamed the trails for over 30 years with canine companions of all types including puppies and seniors and understand the needs of all ages of dogs. I can help with basic training using both voice and hand commands. i have recently transitioned from my long-time career job to a very part-time gig and have plenty of time and energy to work with dogs and their people. Many days I can be available last minute but advance notice is preferred. Dogs need time to adjust to a new environment or person and I work with them to ease any anxiety then progress from there to trust and adventure. Plenty of exercise geared to their fitness and level is key to their wellbeing as well as structured play. Dogs like routine so I try to match what they are used to as much as possible.

“Aubrey took amazing care of our dog Rory! He is in love with her and had a great day hanging out with her at her home. At the time, he was 1 week post-op and was needing careful supervision so he did not over do it with too much activity. He also needed medicated and warm heat compressions. Aubrey accommodated all of those needs and did a few more warm compressions as she saw he needed them! We received picture updates throughout the day and saw he was enjoying himself. I would highly recommend Aubrey and look forward to her watching Rory again!”

Leticia S.
“Leticia is a great caregiver to my 3 year old fur baby. She likes to play with him, take him on hikes, and likes to cuddle with him. She gives him all the attention he needs and does it with love and care. Leticia is calm and sweet to my dog. She is awesome!”

Ryn P.
“Certainly a bit of a biased testimony here as I’m her father but I also feel I know her love for animals and have watched her with all of our pets over her lifetime and she is a compassionate, loving pet owner and has experience taking care of our friends and neighbors pets as well. Your fur babies will be in very capable caring hands.”

We were in town for a bike event and needed someone to walk our 12 year old greyhound while we were out riding. Sylvia was amazing — our shy, anxious guy took to her gentle energy immediately and she made us feel completely at ease. She came to our AirBnB everyday for some fresh air and exercise, and she was excellent with the communication and pictures so we knew he was safe and sound. He was so much calmer and relaxed on this trip than prior ones because of the time he spent with Sylvia. Highly recommend.
