About: My name is Val and I reside in Moab, UT. I have been sitting through Rover for many years, took a long break and now that my 15 year spaniel has passed on, I am back and loving on pups as if they were my own and as often as I am available! I am a respectful and responsible pet, house and plant sitter and I can't wait to meet and play with your cherished fur friends! I love being outside as much as possible and having your high energy pet with me is a huge bonus. I also have experience taking care of puppies and senior animals. I have no issues with pets that may need more attention and training - including puppies or animals that have medical requirements. Know that your pets will be very well loved by me, while you are away. Please see my 'sitting style' for more info! I work from home and part time, so your pet will rarely be left alone unless I need to go to the store or the gym. I live in a studio in a quiet neighborhood and I have a secure yard. I prefer to be outside with yourr pet as I get to know them. I usually leave my door open to the outside while I am home so your pet can come and go. I will always have your pet on a leash on walks unless their recall on trail is impeccable.

About: I‘ve owned and cared for dogs since I was 7. I love teaching them new tricks, walking with them, and cuddling with them if they’ll let me! My dog recently had 9 puppies so I also have experience caring for younger dogs. I love meeting new people and animals and will get along with anyone! I am currently a student at a local university so I am available anytime after my classes which end at noon, or before if I am staying over! I have a very open, flexible schedule and am willing to make accommodations for you and your furry friend! Whatever my client directs, I will gladly follow. I am not able to care for them in my own home so I’ll come to yours instead! I always try to leave it better than I found it, so no accidents will be left uncleaned inside or out.

About: I grew up on a farm in Colorado and have spent my whole life caring for my own and other people’s animals. I have experience with challenging behaviors, medication administration, senior pets, and anxious pet care. With 16 years of hands-on animal and farm experience, you can trust my knowledge, reliability, and communication. I live nomadically and work online, so my schedule is flexible and I’m able to give pets lots of time, attention, and consistency while they’re in my care. I know every animal is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know their personalities, routines, and comfort levels so they feel safe and settled while you’re away. I work online and live a flexible lifestyle, so I’m able to be very present with the pets in my care. My schedule allows for plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and consistency throughout the day. I’m very attentive to animals, their behavior, and their environment. About: I have been an animal lover for all of my life and have cared for my family and friends furry friends numerous times. I grew up with cats since I was very young and had the pleasure of adopting my now 10 year old, Joey, 2 years ago and he truly is my best friend. While I have not had a dog of my own, I have cared for friends and family’s dogs for many years. Whether it be going for a walk, companionship, or just a helping hand, I would love to meet and care for your furry friends! I work afternoons and evenings usually starting at 2:30. I am available early morning and afternoons, and depending on the day I can be available all day as well! I am very flexible and would love to work out a schedule with you! I am happy to come into your home and keep your pet company or take them out on a walk. I know many dog friendly trails in the area if your pet enjoys an adventure. I am happy to adhere to a feeding schedule or any personal needs they may have.

About: I have cared for a variety of pets throughout my life including dogs, cats, and fish. When I am at home, I have two wonderful Florida Brown dogs (mutts!) and in the past have fostered kittens, puppies, and dogs. When I am on the road for months at a time and my dogs are back at home, I try to get my pet fix by caring for others. I am happy to go on long walks with plenty of time to sniff, or just sit around and snuggle, whatever is needed. My routine is varied and flexible and can be customized to fit your needs. While sitting I’ll make sure to go on walks with your pup if needed. I’m always down for a long walk or jog with active dogs, playing with toys, or simply cuddling. I do not offer sits in my own home at this time. When sitting at your home, I will make sure to follow all of your requests, listen to what your pet needs, give them lots of attention and cuddles, and maintain good communication with you so that you know your pet(s) is/are in good hands!

About: I’ve taken care of every sort of critter since I was a little kid and have always been passionate about making animals a part of my life. This includes puppies, dogs with disabilities, blind cats, animals needing medication, and lots of animals with big personalities-I even have one my self (Australian blue healer). I have volunteered all over the country at different shelters while traveling and have worked for shelters and animal ranches. You could say I know a thing or two about animals. My dogs are essentially my kids and come on almost every adventure with me. With clients, I treat their dog exactly how I expect others to treat my furry ones when I’m out of town. If there is anything special that you’d like to let me know, then I am all ears. I spend most of my free time rock climbing and adventuring outdoors. I also love to read and paint, so if your dog isn’t as active, I will certainly lounge around with them :) All of my pets get better care than I think most dogs ever get and your dog will be treated just the same! My dogs are always involved in every activity and never feel left out. They all love to learn, play, walk, adventure and of course get snacks! About: I have a way with dogs and will happily escort your pup on walks, hikes and can board them in my home which is dog friendly with a large back yard for play. I've lived in Moab and roamed the trails for over 30 years with canine companions of all types including puppies and seniors and understand the needs of all ages of dogs. I do now have a year old female dog who loves meeting new dogs and isn't overly energetic but rather more submissive than dominant with others. I can also help with basic training using both voice and hand commands. i have recently transitioned from my long-time career job to a very part-time gig and have plenty of time and energy to work with dogs and their people. Many days I can be available last minute but advance notice is preferred. Dogs need time to adjust to a new environment or person and I work with them to ease any anxiety then progress from there to trust and adventure. Plenty of exercise geared to their fitness level is key to their wellbeing as well as structured play. Dogs like routine so I try to match what they are used to as much as possible.

About: I’ve been working in nonprofit animal rescues in full time capacity for many years. I have various experience including working with behaviorally challenged dogs of all sizes as well as experience working with puppies, seniors, blind, deaf, and incontinent dogs. I currently work as the Operations Manager at Underdog Animal Rescue and Rehab in Moab. On my scheduled work days, I’m able to take care of pets before 8am, during lunch, and after 5pm. I’m able to provide full time services on my days off. I have extensive experience in caring for dogs in my home. My 2 dogs are accustomed to having foster dogs of all temperament. They’re well trained and they do not typically engage with dogs I sit.

About: Dogs that come visit usually have a blast being part of the pack and end up learning some desirable behaviors with my 2 service animals Bellie and Lola. I am a retired veteran so i am free to work with dogs all day everyday, its very rewarding and works great with my schedule. I have a couple of runners set up and shade structures. When it is hot I let the dogs inside. I take the dogs out to play with my pack often. We will go on walks, throw frizbee, play tag, practice tricks, etc. I like to take the dogs swimming too if thats permitted by the owners before hand ( I have doggy life jackets).
