“Debby was great! Very personable and wanted to come meet Ginger and get the lay of the land before checking in while I was on vacation. She posted photos of Ginger during her visits and was very caring and communicative. Would recommend!”

“Annabelle provided wonderful care as usual. She spent a ton of time with our cat, Ekko, while we were gone and tried to keep her as happy as possible even though Ekko wasn’t feeling great.”

“Kasse is always on time with giving all the love to my furry alligator. She is very professional, while still having fun with a job that should be fun. Second time using her services and will be returning”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for a while. I know how to take care of a wide range of animals including dogs of different sizes and breeds. I am a full time college student but I am free in the afternoons and evenings every day and open to working with schedules to make something a good fit! I am comfortable staying in a clients home and will provide a great service. I will maintain a clean and safe environment during my stay and will respect my surroundings as they are my own.
“Bre was so amazing with our kitty during his 6 day stay with her. We could tell right away that she is a cat person, and our cat really loved her too. She was sweet and loving with him and a great communicator with us. She gave us frequent updates and sent pictures, and followed our instructions for his care perfectly. Our cat loved his time with her, and when we came to pick him up, he gave her a ton of kisses goodbye. We will definitely use Bre again for pet sitting!”

“Gavin did a great job house sitting and watching my 2 cats. He sent great video/photo updates and I wasn't worried at all about if my pets were doing ok or not, he's an awesome pet sitter”

“Robbie is a reliable and kind pet sitter. We were at a rental house and our dogs were anxious. So, Robbie stayed with them when we went to a concert and dinner. It was great peace of mind. He’s great with dogs and was super friendly and conscientious.”

About: I've been taking care of pets for most of my life. I worked at a doggie daycare & boarding business for a couple of years. I'm now going out on my own and would love to take care of your fur babies while you're out. I've been around all breeds and sizes and understand their many different traits and personalities. I love playtime and walking. It is as much fun for me as it is for them. I've administered meds and worked specifically with dogs that needed specialized medical attention. Communication is important to me, as it is to you, so please let me know what you expect. No detail is too small. I can provide updates and photos if you request it; otherwise, I will not take up any of your time while you're away unless a concern arises. I love snuggles and look forward to making your fur babies feel as comfortable and happy as possible. Taking care of animals is just part of my everyday life! I have two dogs of my own, so I’m used to walks, playtime, feeding, and keeping a good routine. I love being around animals and easily fit pet care into my day. I try to keep things as close to the pet’s normal routine as possible. I follow instructions carefully, give lots of love and attention, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I also send updates so owners know their pets are doing great!

About: I have always believed that a house isn’t a home without the unconditional love of a dog. Throughout my life, my happiest moments have been defined by furry family members greeting me at the door with wet noses, endless kisses, and wagging tails. Yet, like any devoted pet parent, I know the familiar pang of guilt and anxiety that comes with walking out the door—whether it’s just for a quick daily errand, a long day at work, or a much-needed vacation. Our pets thrive on routine, familiarity, and love. Leaving them behind is often the hardest part of being a pet owner. Now that I am retired, I have dedicated my time and passion to help other dog lovers minimize or even solve this dilemma. Imagine a life where traveling or working doesn't mean leaving your pet only to face an empty house or even worse, confined to a kennel. Instead, you can step away with complete peace of mind, knowing your fur babies are in the hands of someone who will care for them like family and support the routines they are used to and comfortable with. I would love the opportunity to do this for you and your sweet friend(s). Please take a look at the services I offer, and contact me today so we can keep your pets happy, safe, and loved while you are away. I cannot imagine a more rewarding way to spend my retirement than caring for your beloved pups and kitties. To ensure the best possible care, I always request an initial meet-and-greet with you and your pet(s), ideally in their own comfortable environment. Once we establish that we are a great fit, we can begin scheduling regular visits. Over time, as your pet becomes completely comfortable with me, my home will also be open to them for overnight stays and day care should the need arise. I look forward to learning your specific routines to keep your pets safe and sound. Their time with me will be fully tailored to whatever your fur baby loves most—whether that means playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, enjoying mealtime, or taking trips to the park. Regardless of whether I am walking your dog or dropping in to check on your kitty, safety is always my top priority.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
