Pet care experience
I love all animals like my own.
There has not been a day of my 39 years on this planet I have not owned a dog. I have trained two therapy dogs and am good with behavioral issues. I love to run and jog and would love to wear your dog(s) out. Or have them cuddle with me while you are away. I work from home so am extremely flexible when it comes to when I am available. I love being outside and getting fresh air and would love to take your dog(s) with me. I am also willing to go to the dog park if you would prefer that. I have pet sat for the past 12 years and have yet to have any compliants or anything bad happen while I am watching them. I love animals more then most and I think you will be able to see that once you meet me!

This is my first time leaving Carlton so I was very nervous. She gave me a tour of her home and yard at our meet and greet. She also sent several photos during his time at daycare which made me feel so much better. When I picked him up that evening, he was very calm in his kennel and seem to have done very well during his visit

Whitney agreed to watch our dog, Rollo last minute and we could tell she was very thorough with introductions/ making sure our dog would be safe. She sent us pictures and we could tell he had a blast. Would rebook!
I was so worried about having to leave Stevie over the 4th as she is terrified of fireworks but Whitney made her feel safe, comfortable and relaxed. She’s got plenty of experience with scared dogs and she’s a total pro at providing a safe, loving and calm environment.
Whitney is absolutely fantastic with all her four legged charges and certainly has a great system while taking care of them. Phoenix came home after a 10 day trip happy, clean, and healthy. Highly recommend Whitney and her dedication to your fur baby.

Schedule
I work from home and have a very flexible schedule during the day. I love to run and hike and simply being outside. When boarding, all the animals get love and attention. They are treated as well as I treat me own. They are allowed on the couch and in my bed and I love when they want to cuddle with me. I try to make it has much like a home for them as possible. Dog beds, beds and plenty of water are available at all times. They have access to outside fully from 9am to 4pm and every few hours after that.

I have a fully fenced in back yard. Baby gates and door buddies are used inside to protect all the creatures within the house. I do have cats, but they are very used to new dogs coming in. I however cannot watch dogs that have ever had any aggressive towards cats.
Pets
A typical day
My favorite places to walk are along the Riverfront trail, in Palisade or simply around the neighborhood. I am also willing to walk around your neighborhood if your dog(s) prefer that. At home the animals are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. They will be loved on and treated like one of my own. They will have plenty of socialization with my very friendly dogs and cats. I feed twice a day AM/PM. I do run errands and go to the gym most days but I try to limit my time away to no longer than an hour and a half at a time. Evenings are pretty relaxed and we do a lot of cuddling. I try to get everyone out on at least a 30 minute walk each day (depending on temp and weather). If we cant get out I have a plethora of mental stimulation toys and games we can play.

- I love all dogs! All shapes and sizes. I am pretty strong and have trained a number of dogs to leash walk and am not afraid of a puller. The only requirement I have is if they come to hang out at my house, they must be okay with cats. Curiosity is fine as my cats are very used to that, but they cannot be aggressive with them.
