About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of caring for animals of every kind. I love dogs and cats, and all animals . Your pet will receive patient, dependable, loving care and personalized attention while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m self-employed, don’t currently work a full-time job, and my children are grown and out of the house. I have reliable transportation, a flexible schedule, and plenty of time to provide dependable, attentive care for your pets whenever you need it. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I’m dependable, have a strong work ethic, and believe every animal deserves kindness, respect, and attentive care. I make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean environment, exercise, playtime, affection, and any medications or special care they need. I believe animals know when they are loved, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
About: Dogs have been in my life since I was a young teen. Neighbors, family & friends have relied on me to walk, feed and care for their pets while away from home. I have experience with special needs, puppies, senior and dogs of all ages. My work schedule is flexible allowing me to easily schedule times for regular pet walks and play time. Especially during the cooler times of day. My yard is fenced with shady areas for the warmer days and a doggie door for paw traffic. Both, front & back house doors open into fenced yards.

“Patricia is an excellent communicator and very dependable. She was very kind and loving to our pups. She played frisbee with our very energetic Border Collies, took them for walks, and on a day when it was too hot for frisbee, she spent time playing with them indoors. The younger pup was having a difficult time with his first-ever overnight without his people. She gave him extra loving care. I would highly recommend Patricia.”

About: I've been taking care of pets for most of my life. I worked at a doggie daycare & boarding business for a couple of years. I'm now going out on my own and would love to take care of your fur babies while you're out. I've been around all breeds and sizes and understand their many different traits and personalities. I love playtime and walking. It is as much fun for me as it is for them. I've administered meds and worked specifically with dogs that needed specialized medical attention. Communication is important to me, as it is to you, so please let me know what you expect. No detail is too small. I can provide updates and photos if you request it; otherwise, I will not take up any of your time while you're away unless a concern arises. I love snuggles and look forward to making your fur babies feel as comfortable and happy as possible. Taking care of animals is just part of my everyday life! I have two dogs of my own, so I’m used to walks, playtime, feeding, and keeping a good routine. I love being around animals and easily fit pet care into my day. I try to keep things as close to the pet’s normal routine as possible. I follow instructions carefully, give lots of love and attention, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I also send updates so owners know their pets are doing great!
“Ariel took this job at literally the last second for us and she did an amazing job with our fur babies. She was very communicative, kept our pup active, and took time to reassure us that the cat wouldn't get out! I will go to her first if I need someone to take care of our kiddos again. Thank you Ariel!”

“Lauren has been an excellent cat sitter. Super responsive via rover chat and very attentive to my written list of cat needs. She even offered to split a 1 hour visit into two 30-min visits when she sensed my nervousness about leaving my cats for so long. She has been great about keeping me updated and sending pics. I feel very comfortable with my pets in her care.”

“Catherine is great! Communicative, kind, and always manages to pill my skeptical kitty with her much-needed medicine. Really appreciate the photos she sends. Thank you!”

“Eleshia did a great job watching over my cat for the weekend! Good communication throughout and even brought in some packages for me! We’ll definitely use her again”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
