Feel free to call or text or email anytime! I'm in college all remote and have plenty time on my hands for walks and bathroom breaks or even just play time in my large fenced in yard. I have a fenced in large yard and a very friendly dog. I can crate your dog if you desire. I walk my dog twice a day and would like more company on walks.

About: I was raised on a ranch in Southern Colorado and have been caring for animals on a daily basis for most of my life! I have turned my passion for animals into my profession and I currently work at a pet store caring for animals day in and day out. I am currently in the process of obtaining my dog training CDPT-KA certification and have a ton of experience with puppies and dogs that need some work! I am trained in safe use of training tools such as e-collars and prong collars, and always use positive reinforcement in addition to any tools. I have experience with everything from farm animals to exotic fish, and everything in between. I will happily care for reptiles (including snakes!), birds, fish and livestock and of course I adore cats and dogs! I am trained in medication administration and have experience in identifying conditions that potentially need to be seen by a vet. Everything I do is for the good of the animals and I will always treat each and every one as if it was my own. I work part-time in the mornings and am available every day after 12pm, and available all day on my days off! I will always do my best to fit appropriate visits into my schedule. While I don't care for animals in my home, I will always treat your home as if it were my own. I am respectable and will always clean up after myself and the animals in my care - even the grossest of animal messes are not an obstacle for me. I am comfortable crating dogs, or making sure there are no potential dangers for a free roam dog to get into trouble with. Fresh water and food will always be provided during my drop-in visits (in alignment with feeding schedules, of course) and I will always make sure they potty on walks and during drop-ins, even if I have to stay a little extra to make sure 😊

About: I have took care of animals technically since I was young since I lived with many dogs and few cats and hope to be veterinarian one day!! Honestly anytime I have a lot of free time as I do work online mostly but I’ll be most available every weekend but of course we can always take about the weekdays I should be available everyday though at most!! I have a dog and a cat their both not a year just yet but my dog is very playful always up and wanting to be played with and go outside and my cat is playful to but doesn’t like when dogs are to rough and if needed I can always put my cat in my room or in another room if your dog isn’t a cat friendly dog !! And if your cat isn’t a friendly dog friend I can always have the dog just stay outside most the day or crated ! My cat and dog grew up together since they were lil babies so they are comfortable with each other of course.

About: I’m experienced, attentive and nurturing to animals. I have had many canine companions throughout my life, along with two beautiful cats. I have done pet sitting, housesitting and property care throughout the years. Four of my dogs were rescues who had special issues (separation anxiety, digestive issues, physical limitations, shyness), so I’m well versed in paying close attention to an animals needs; administering meds, injections, special meals if necessary; and senior care. I have a fondness for older dogs and their needs. I was also trained as an animal communicator and can be extra attentive to subtle needs. I have knowledge taking care of small, medium and large dogs; and was a live in caretaker for others property and pets in earlier years. I have also done pet sitting with trusted housekeepers and have excellent references. My objective is to be kind and generous and also be clear about expectations, needs, and boundaries, so that I’m fully responsible and attentive to the care of your animals and home. I offer trustworthiness, with a bit of wisdom added in :); am quiet and positive. Having traveled a lot, I adjust and adapt easily to new environments. I am living in Grand Junction, Colorado. I will add that I cannot handle dogs that pull hard on a leash ( a little pulling is fine , but strong pullers, no). And am not good with incessant barkers. Those are two boundaries I have with dog care. I have also been involved in equine therapy and working with alpaca as well. PS. there's confusion on this site about my own pets. I don't know how to delete that part, but I have no pets of my own at this time. I'm retired and able to give a lot of attention to your furry ones, according to their needs. I lived in Spain the last three years and now back to the U.S to work on a book, which i can take anywhere I go, making it easy to be fully available for animal care and home needs, on an hourly and daily basis. Pet care daily has been part of my life for many, many years. I adapt to the needs of each housesitting/dogsitting assignment. If they like to play, then we play. If they need walks, we walk. As mentioned above, I can give medications, injections and abide by the guidelines needed for each animal. I am quiet, so the home will be peaceful. I am clean. I abide by the pets needs for meals. I enjoy walks in nature -- walking dogs has been part of my life for decades. I have a lot of empathy for animals, give them a lot of attention, and am able to tune into subtle needs through intuition. I sleep with my own dog companions next to me in their own bed, and when younger they would sleep in a crate near me. I'm adaptable to the needs of the dogs I housesit with; and love to cuddle if they are the cuddly type. If not, I allow them to have their space. PS. I'm a retired art therapist, wellness coach and was a home owner for many years; was also an Airbnb super host, enjoying creating nurturing spaces. I'm detailed oriented and know how to take good care of a home.

About: Your Dog or Cat no matter what age or disability will get the safest, COMFORTABLE, CARE. Experienced with all kinds of dogs and cats. Your pet will be in a wonderful environment with a lot of attention *Dog and Cat Owners: I will consider both at 1 time will always have access to your pet during the day and night. I do prefer them to be inside if acceptable and trained. they will be kept in their own cool clean new bedroom. Much better than a boarding service. located in quiet cul-de-sac near the airport, and have a decent size back yard, with covered patio and fan. Why Rover : I love pets. A friend does it, and speaks very highly of the experience, so I have been wanting to do this for a while now. I have a great home for pets and enjoy spending time with them.
