My entire professional career has been in the animal welfare field. I've worked as a cruelty investigator in both major metropolitan as well as rural agricultural regions. About: I have four dogs, and two cats. I treat all pets as if my own kids. I am good at potty training if needed, and special diets or any meds they need to take. I can take care of guinea pigs as well. I have owned them before. I will NOT watch a dog over 50-60 pds max. The only times I am away from home is usually for doctor appts. I am available for emergency situations as well. I know people don't think about that so its good to have a plan just incase the unfortunate happens, and u need me to go pick up the furbaby and bring them to my house until you are able to care for them. Know they will be safe and loved. I have a fenced backyard, as well as four dogs that would keep them company, and play with them while they are here. I can feed them separately as well. In your home I will make sure they are safe and can't get out and get lost. I have never lost a pet in my care.

“Like many others, I am an anxious dog mom and can be a bit nervous trusting new people to take care of my girl, Jagger. She’s a sensitive soul, and I’ve had a few bad experiences in the past. However, I’m so happy to say that Dan exceeded expectations with my pup! I took her to his home for a day of daycare, and she had the best time. Dan has a nice home and spacious backyard, which is great for my dog since she’s a big girl and enjoys sniffing, running around and basking in sun like a lizard. He has two dogs of his own, which was a huge bonus for her since she loves making new friends. She loved Dan from the moment they met and loved him just as much (maybe even more!) when I picked her up. Seeing how she acts around caretakers is a huge indicator for me about how comfortable she is and how well she’s being taken care of while I’m away. Dan gets 10/10 stars for this. Even when I came to pick her up, she was still running over the Dan for pets and lovins! She was happy to see me and ready to go home but not in a “please get me out of here” way that I’ve experienced before with other daycares and caretakers. What’s more, whenever I reached out to check on how things were going, Dan responded to me in a timely manner. It was also extremely comforting to know that Dan has such an extensive background in animal care/welfare. It reassured me that he knows what to do if something is wrong with my pup. Overall, I’m really happy with Dan and how he cared for my sweet girl! I’m so excited to have found a good fit for my dog!”

About: I was raised on a ranch in Southern Colorado and have been caring for animals on a daily basis for most of my life! I have turned my passion for animals into my profession and I currently work at a pet store caring for animals day in and day out. About: I'm a single mother to a 8 1/2 year old boy & we absolutely love having dogs in home with us! We currently have no dogs of our own, since losing our pitbull in 2018. Losing her was difficult, as she was with us through the most trying times- after my son's father passed away suddenly. She helped care for us & I'm looking for some furry little loves to share our home and time with to help fill her absence, as well as those fur parents who need loving sitters! There is only one other dog in the community that is dog/human/kid friendly - although my neighbor and I typically peek out before letting the dogs loose so they have the yard to themselves. My back yard faces an open field on the edge of town, providing an incredibly safe, tucked away, and quiet neighborhood. My son is a loving child who displays love and sympathy for dogs. He loves to help, play, feed, give treats, and help walk them when the dog & him are appropriately matched. We've been operating for 4 years now and have taken care of homes, bunnies, chickens, dogs, goats, cats, and are willing to help with other house sitting duties such as picking up packages, mail, and watering gardens & plants. About: I've been taking care of pets for most of my life. I worked at a doggie daycare & boarding business for a couple of years. I'm now going out on my own and would love to take care of your fur babies while you're out. I've been around all breeds and sizes and understand their many different traits and personalities. I love playtime and walking. It is as much fun for me as it is for them. I've administered meds and worked specifically with dogs that needed specialized medical attention.
