“Like many others, I am an anxious dog mom and can be a bit nervous trusting new people to take care of my girl, Jagger. She’s a sensitive soul, and I’ve had a few bad experiences in the past. However, I’m so happy to say that Dan exceeded expectations with my pup! I took her to his home for a day of daycare, and she had the best time. Dan has a nice home and spacious backyard, which is great for my dog since she’s a big girl and enjoys sniffing, running around and basking in sun like a lizard. He has two dogs of his own, which was a huge bonus for her since she loves making new friends. She loved Dan from the moment they met and loved him just as much (maybe even more!) when I picked her up. Seeing how she acts around caretakers is a huge indicator for me about how comfortable she is and how well she’s being taken care of while I’m away. Dan gets 10/10 stars for this. Even when I came to pick her up, she was still running over the Dan for pets and lovins! She was happy to see me and ready to go home but not in a “please get me out of here” way that I’ve experienced before with other daycares and caretakers. What’s more, whenever I reached out to check on how things were going, Dan responded to me in a timely manner. It was also extremely comforting to know that Dan has such an extensive background in animal care/welfare. It reassured me that he knows what to do if something is wrong with my pup. Overall, I’m really happy with Dan and how he cared for my sweet girl! I’m so excited to have found a good fit for my dog!”

About: During my time as a K9 Military Police Officer in the Army I was responsible for 24 hour care for our canine partners. I use that professional training to provide expert care to family pets both in my home or in my spacious indoor kennel options. I aim to provide peace of mind for the owner and a vacation for the pet. I have experience with all ages of dogs/cats from newborns to senior requiring specific timely routines and cares. I ask that the owner provide the preferred food to prevent any stomach issues, but we of course clean any accidents without cost to the owner. Our property is completely fenced, and we offer both a traditional front yard as well as an open one acre pasture to fully run out their energy. We provide some basic toys and treats, but are happy to keep with your play routines if you bring on over your pet's preferred toys. About: I'm a single mother to a 8 1/2 year old boy & we absolutely love having dogs in home with us! We currently have no dogs of our own, since losing our pitbull in 2018. Losing her was difficult, as she was with us through the most trying times- after my son's father passed away suddenly. She helped care for us & I'm looking for some furry little loves to share our home and time with to help fill her absence, as well as those fur parents who need loving sitters! I have one older kitty who lives in my room. He's completely closed off from all dogs and has never had any altercations, as his presence typically goes undetected. We have many dogs who are our regulars that are not cat friendly & have never seen him, as we keep my bedroom door closed. He also sleeps behind closed closet doors every night, so the there is no night mischief. We try to take two walks a day when dogs are with us, weather permitting! We take dogs to walk in grassy parks when the pavement is too hot. We live in a townhouse that has a fenced back yard that we share with two other rentals; we're a triplex. There is only one other dog in the community that is dog/human/kid friendly - although my neighbor and I typically peek out before letting the dogs loose so they have the yard to themselves. My back yard faces an open field on the edge of town, providing an incredibly safe, tucked away, and quiet neighborhood. My son is a loving child who displays love and sympathy for dogs. He loves to help, play, feed, give treats, and help walk them when the dog & him are appropriately matched. We've been operating for 4 years now and have taken care of homes, bunnies, chickens, dogs, goats, cats, and are willing to help with other house sitting duties such as picking up packages, mail, and watering gardens & plants. About: I've been caring for animals for my whole life, I've always had pets, and have been a walker on apps for 6+ years. I'm always willing to sit, board or walk. I volunteer with a small nonprofit that provides service dogs to disabled veterans and hope I can positively impact you and your pets. I currently volunteer, and work part-time with flexibility, so I can frequently pick-up/drop-off or check-in on your pets. My home is pet friendly with two cats. I do currently serve in the Navy reserves, so I travel to Denver once a month for a couple days, but I always know my schedule ahead of time. I have two cats who are comfortable around dogs, live in a two bedroom apartment, with close access to a grassy area and some local parks.

While i was gone Emily was great about photos and keeping me posted on how Tala was doing. I was missing my puppy but I knew she was in good hands while i was gone.”
